Replaced door and painted. Great job.

The job went very well. The team that was sent to my house was very professional. The took their time to do the job right and went out of there way to ensure quality work. While on the surface the job looked easy, it actually required a lot of customization to get my new fridge installed. The 'standard space' was no longer standard due to home repairs that made the space just a little too small. We ended up having to slightly modify the cabinet work. But no problem because they had a carpenter on the team. Bottom line, Artisan did a great job and was able to properly install my new unit in my less than perfect space. It looks great. I really appreciate the pride and craftsmanship of their work

Artisans was exactly what I needed. After the damage was assessed, my options were explained clearly; including all pros and cons. All my questions were answered thoroughly. The repairs were done quickly and the results are exactly what I was promised. These guys will be first on my list should I ever need work done in the future!

Scott was knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Diagnosed ac problem quickly. He had to dismantle the inside unit to make the replacement. For all the work and time he took, we thought it was going to be a lot more money and were thankful it was not.we will be calling Scott for all future problems if we have them. Thanks again.

We have used Artisans Home Repair on multiple occasions and have always been happy with their work. They remodeled a closet in our house into a laundry area with all new plumbing, drainage and venting. They installed tile, new plumbing and electrical and turned a standard door into a large double bifold door to accommodate a washer and dryer. The work is beautiful and better than I envisioned.

Every time I call them, they have been great to work with. They take the time to understand what I want and need, carefully describe to me what it is going to take to get the job done both timewise and money wise, and they get the job done, on time. And, every time the work is done right and with more care and attention to detail than a lot of others out there would ever even consider thinking about. I recommend them to anybody who needs work done whether it be a full remodel, a home repair, or whatever. If they say that they can do it, then they will do it. No jerking you around or playing games, like a lot of others.

Guys showed up when they said they wood. Did great work and cleaned up after themselves. The work was done quickly and I am very pleased. Makes my home feel new again!!

The workmanship and quality was excellent, as the shelves constantly get compliments from friends and family. I was impressed by both the quality of work, and the fairness in price of the project. I understood that this type of work takes a lot of time, and the cost was reasonable. The gentlemen that quoted the job and did the work were very professional and honest.

The visit was excellent. We were having a few noise, water, and odor issues with our toilet. I spoke with Jimmy, the owner, and he gave me a few recommendations that I could try on my own to fix the issues. I then, needed them to come take a look at it. They were very professional, had flexible scheduling, and took the time to show me what they had done after the job was completed. I will be contacting Artisans again in the future for any home repair that I may need. I strongly recommend this business to others.

I have some good things to say about them and I have not so good things to say about them. Initially when I called them, I told them what I wanted but they guy that they sent out didn't have all the details that I told the guy who I set the job up with. That was a little bit frustrating but we kind of worked through that. Based on him not knowing everything that I told the guy who I set the appointment with, he didn't have all the tools that he needed. He had to run to Home Depot and get some tools. When they do that, they charge you for the time. As far as the actual quality of the work, I think they did a good job. I thought it was a little pricey for what they were doing. They should have better note taking when somebody makes the appointment because I wanted the detail about everything that I needed. The guy that came out to do the work didn't have all that or he acted like he didn't have all those details. I have to go over it all over again. He was only prepared for part of it.

This is a re-review, in part. Artisan originally fixed a bay window and I was not satisfied with the work. Upon learning I was not satisfied with the work, the Artisan team worked to fix the window to my 100% satisfaction. I appreciate that the company took the time and effort to come back and make it right. I then retained Artisan to fix my front door. They did a fabulous job. The door looks like new. I am extremely impressed with the company's work ethic and dedication to their craft. I will definitely be using this company for my future home repair needs.

Handyman was punctual and called before coming, brought in all the necessary equipment, and finished right on time with the exact quoted amount on the phone. No surprises in that sense. We went with this company even though we felt the quoted price for the small scale of work was slightly higher than some competitors because the competitors couldn't make themselves available on such short notice. However, the quality of work turned out to be very good. No complaints whatsoever on that front. We hope to use this company for a large scale project down the road to evaluate them better.

John was such a pleasure to work with. Courteous, hard working, and clearly very knowledgable and skilled. He was right on time, came in to look over the job at hand, then got right to work. The repair looks fabulous! Just like when we used Artisans for another repair, the job didn't take as long as anticipated so the bill ended up being less than the initial quote. Can't go wrong with these guys!

rehung an interior door that builder had botched on my house. they had to pull off a piece of trim, rework the door studs to properly secure the door to the wall.hang the door and secure the hinges into the modified door frame. they reapplied the trim and caulked. there were 2 guys that showed up and both were very professional. they showed up a bit late but not a problem for me.

Gave great advice where to buy and did beautiful job on installation which wasn't easy with walls not plumb.

I've used them before. They called right away. They gave me an estimate and stayed within his estimate. They've done many remodels. They can just about do everything. They're not a handyman. They're a step above a handyman.

It went well, I was happy with the work. I would highly recommend them.

First, I'd like to say they were one of two from Angies List that would take the challenge. Other contractors were delayed in their responses or did not want to touch an existing structure or didn't have enough experience doing this type of job. I provided pictures to everyone to show what they would be dealing with. The patio that came with the house was an addition added after the house was built. The problem was the metal posts that support the patio roof support columns had severe corrosion and could possibly collapse anytime. I received a response from Jimmy and he was very professional throughout our conversations. He explained what was going to be done. Initially, the estimates were off and that could be from judging the work by the pictures. The estimate did go up after sending a person to visually look at it because the work was going to be more extensive than what the photos showed. The people that did the job have years of experience in what they do and this is what exactly my wife and I was looking for. They didn't take any shortcuts in their work and they notified you when they had concerns during the project. In this case, I had an irrigation line that was partially cemented into the support beam in the ground. The previous builders didn't bother to reroute the line. In the end, the line was rerouted correctly around the support column, but this added to the cost. Overall, they did a remarkable job. I feel safe under my patio. It is structurally sound. If you need a contractor that is willing to do a job that nobody else won't, I recommend Artisans.

Called their office, sent pictures in, they called back with a quote. They were able to come a few days earlier than they originally thought. The man came over, worked steadily, did a very nice job, cleaned up and left. The screen door was an oldie and he was not happy until it closed properly, which made me happy. No more slamming door!

I highly recommend this company. They are professional, did the work promised, and stayed on budget. We have had great communication from their front office in making appointments and explaining cost, work covered, and billing. Our first repair had issues after the work was completed and they did a warranty repair for free to install new tile for the failed repair. They stand behind their work and their employees are always polite, punctual, and very knowledgeable. We will definitely use them again and would not hesitate to recommend them for small projects around the house. Excellent service and company!

My husband called this place to get a quote on our front door. I had already gotten 3 FREE quotes from other companies, but its a special project and each only wanted to do parts of the total work. Anyway, my husband called wanted a quote they said they don't give quotes over the phone, so he scheduled an appt. He was told there was a fee to come out, but not how much. The guy was an hour late so my husband had to leave for work. I was off that day guy shows up, talks over the door work with me. Each time I asked how much? I couldn't get a firm answer from him, just "depends".... He talked a lot about his other jobs, his personal life...etc (I didn't realize the meter was running on my bill) anyway, he tells me we have to buy all the wood/supplies so I asked him to measure everything for me. Took 10mins tops for the measuring, then he tells me its $150!!! For WHAT??? I didn't get a quote, and he's telling me he isn't sending one either. What a rip off. On top of that they charge an hourly rate for labor. Never hire anyone for a home job that charges by the hour. If so you end up with just this: someone who wasted my time talking about other jobs and running the clock up. If he knew he wasn't able to give a quote then why did he come out???? for $150 bucks that's why! Update 08/12/14: Provider contacted and refunded our estimate fee, there were 4 people involved in this interaction and we (me and the owner) agreed there was miscommunication in the process. I'm totally thrilled this was resolved! The owner seemed to be a stand up guy running a good business, and I'm sorry for any negativity I've caused. Hope to do business in the future.

We replaced some older doors with new ones and their job was perfect. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves.

Unfortunately my experience was less than desirable with these guys. Because their business model is strictly over the phone quotation (the owner refuses to visit your house in order to make a more thorough evaluation) you really don't have an idea of the project cost and time frame until after the project is finished. This didn't work for me. Several different crews came out for various projects and I had to request a revisit because the work was not finished properly. The trim crew was the worst. They started to rush the job towards the end of the day and the lack of quality was apparent. They damaged one of the walls and didn't tell me about it (as if i wouldn't notice...) The cherry on top was they ran out of caulk and rather than go buy some more to finish the trim work they just left it (i guess they assumed i would take care of it before i painted...) Overall not happy at all with this group. I would not recommend their services to anyone. Stay away.

They did a very good job. It is over a year now and is working very well. As far as I know, they were quite good and everything went very well. I called them afterwards to tell them that it was a good job.

I was disappointed that the contractor refused to do an on-site estimate for work I need to have done at my home. Supposedly, the norm for there company is quotes over the phone, in hopes of saving the potential customer money. Needless to say, I have an issue making a major financial decision over the phone vs meeting the business owner and/or sales representative in person. I don't understand why a company would spend money to advertise on Angie's list if there unavailable or looking for the right zip code to make there yearly paycheck
