The representative did a good job, answered a couple of questions courteously, and left me with the keys I needed. I believe that his fee was a fair one for the work that he did, although not a screaming bargain. He called ahead to offer an earlier appointment time on the day of service, and I accepted the offer. Overall, I was pleased with his work.

I was very pleased that the locksmith showed up within the first 15 minutes of the one hour window. He worked very quickly and installation was completed in 15 or 20 minutes. He also gave me some great advice on replacing the handle/lock mechanism on my patio door. Dave was very professional and helpful. I would definitely use this company again and will highly recommend them to others.

Recently moved into new home and previous owner had three locks on two doors that required three different keys to operate. Wanted all three to be the same key. Also they had left a safe in the closet that we were unable to open. Finally had lost the combination on a padlock on a fence gate. Called Tuesday inquiring about setting up an appointment for Wednesday. Received a call later that afternoon saying that they were headed to my house. Unfortunately I was at work with an upcoming meeting and indicated that I thought we were set for Wednesday. He indicated that was fine and someone would be out Wednesday. Dennis called Wednesday morning and said he'd be on his way. In less than five minutes he was there and we walked through and looked at the various items we needed.

They did a really great job. They gave me a very good price. At first I was only looking to change one lock, but they educated me on why that might not be a great idea with a new home. I was very pleased with their work and Dennis was a very nice person who really helped. They were on time and I want to give them an A plus. He went above and beyond and helped a lot.

Showed up in a timely manner after same day appointment. Re-keyed the locks and left the location. I went back to the location and the key won't open the front door. The locksmith changed the deadbolt but forgot the knob. I was able to get in by the backdoor. Called the office and they were apologetic and said they would have the locksmith come back the next day at noon. No one called and the locksmith didn't show up until 2 pm. This isn't my primary home so I had to wait for 2 hours. I think the company should offer some kind of refund for MY time. Otherwise the service was good.

Dennis did a great job and would highly recommend Texas Safe & Lock for anyone looking to have a job done. Showed up on time, and called beforehand to make sure we were home and ready for him to do the service. Dennis also took a look at our back door because the lock was sticking. He took the whole lock apart, and fixed it. We would highly recommend this company!

I made some calls at noon and TX Safe & Lock were able to do the work that afternoon. By 3 pm, all the locks to home were changed at a reasonable price. The service was extraordinarily professional and pleasant. I would use them again and recommend them.

I made and appointment with David on 3/18 and he never showed. I called back and he came out to our office to review everything. He came out on a Friday and said he would follow-up with a quote. I have never heard from David. I am not sure why he has failed to follow-up 2 times. Or why he would waste his own time and come out and never provide an esimate.

Called them to get 3 locks re-keyed after we purchased our new home. I called around to multiple locksmiths and the other places quoted me much more than this place did, so I hired them. I called around 1pm to make an appointment for sometime that week. One hour later I got a call from a locksmith saying they could be there in 30 minutes. The locksmith came over and did all 3 locks in under 15 minutes. He explained everything very clearly to me. He also fixed the latch on my gate without me even asking!!! That was awesome!

I called the company at approximately 3:00 PM on the afternoon of 04/25/2013 and told them what I needed done. They said that they might be able to squeeze me in that afternoon since it was already late in the day, but would definitely perform the service by 11:00 AM on 04/26/2013. In either case, they would call approximately 30 minutes before arriving. Dennis called at 4:00 PM and indicated that he was on his way to my home. When he arrived, I showed him the locks that needed to be re-keyed and repaired and he immediatly went to work, explaining what needed to be done at each step. The lock that needed repair was a Dexter lock (they went out of business over 20 years ago) and replacement parts for this lock are no longer available. He searched his truck and found a used latch mechanism that was in better shape than the one in my door, and used this to make the repair. He completed all work and cleaned everything up to better than it was when he arrived. He then explained what I should do to keep everything working properly in the future. I will definitely use this company in the future for work of this type.

I was visiting my sister in Dallas, TX the night of April 15th when we both were mugged walking home from a local restaurant. The criminals took her purse which had everything, including her keys to her home and her identification which had her address on it. The police highly suggested getting her home rekeyed and to call the insurance company for a referral. The insurance company was no help at all and thank goodness I thought of Angie's list because this business I got from them was great. They answered the phone at 1 a.m. and had a service man out to the home at 8:30 in the morning. Raymond, the serviceman, was professional, on-time, quick and did an excellent job for what we all felt was more than a decent price. Texas Safe and Lock came to our rescue when we were at our most vulnerable. I can't recommend them enough!

They're very good. We really appreciated them being on time when they came. Dennis originally said it was a little bit of a "head scratcher" but he was able to figure out the problem and got it to work.

I called to see if they could send someone on the weekend. He said he had another job at 2, but could be here at 3. He arrived right on time and got to work. Very nice man.

He advised me that it would cost less to purchase a new safe instead of hiring a locksmith. He provided me with fair, honest advice, and didn’t try to sell me anything.

I work from home so I scheduled them on a day I thought I had a light meeting schedule. Of course it didn't work out that way and Dale arrived while I was in the middle of a call. I was able to give him the abbreviated story of how my front lock didn't work and the back locks which were supposed to be keyed to the same keys didn't work. He went to work, quietly and asked a couple of questions when necessary. He was able to get my front lock working again, the front and back doors working with the same key and minimal interruptions to my meetings. I couldn't ask for a better outcome and at a much better price than I expected. I will recommend them to my friends and use them for any future needs.

Dale came only 3 hours after I called to re-key 11 locks in our home. He was very professional and informative. The price was what he quoted. I would definitely recommend this company.

I called the company on Friday at 11 am and was offered service that afternoon. Dale, the locksmith, arrived promptly and quickly got to work on the various tasks. He plainly took the effort to ensure that all the strike plates fit flush to the door frames. He worked quickly but carefully and then cleaned up the area when he was done. Dale also explained how to re-key my locks if that becomes necessary. He applied my Angie's List discount (10% on labor) and the job was done. If I have any further work, this company will definitely get the business!

The previous owners of our hope broke into their floor safe since they had forgotten their code to open the safe. We moved into the house to find a safe with no locking mechanism. Texas Safe and Lock was prompt in responding to me and scheduling an appointment. The safe technician was courteous, showed up on time, performed the work requested and took the time to show me how to use the new lock.

The service technician was friendly and worked quickly. He changed out the hardware and a lock on a few doors that were sticking and that we had lost the key. Initially, we had some trouble after he left opening the door so we called him back and he came out and did additional work at no charge to us.

This company did a great job on both services that I required. The locksmith who came to my condo was professional and very helpful. He did a great job and rekeyed the locks so I only needed two keys, instead of the four that I was given by my landlord. He also gave me some safety advice since I was new to the area. He really went above and beyond. I don't remember the exact cost (probably ~$120), but it was competitive and I got an Angie's List discount. The locksmith also came out very promptly, which I really appreciated. The second time, they helped me open a safe for a nominal fee of $10. They helped me immediately when I came to the store and didn't damage any of the contents. I would highly recommend this company.

Did everything you would expect from a locksmith. Arrived on time and provided great service. I had 10 locks changed all of them were put back together well. Also the prices were reasonable. I highly recommend them.
