Terra Turf Landscape

I asked for flowers to be planted in 2 beds, and some empty planter pots, and for all beds to be cleaned of dead leaves, etc.. When I came home the mulch, and bushes had been planted, but the beds had not, and the all beds weren't cleaned? I called and there answer was we ran out of flowers, and for and extra charge they could come back and plant the beds... I explained I'd rather had the beds planted first and pots last, and I wanted beds cleaned. The owner, Matt was very kind, and offered a discount on the remaining work, but there was definite break down of communication between crew that arrived and Owner. I ended up doing it myself, I wasn't going to pay more. Next time I will just have to plan on being at home when all work is being done so I can make sure my expectations are met.

I purchased the "3 men for 1 hour of landscaping deal" for $89 and after receiving the initial email confirming my purchase, left a few messages before hearing from TerraTurf. The owner had been traveling and his voice mail box was full, but he did call once he returned. He was apologetic and very polite and we scheduled a date to have the work done. He called me the afternoon they were to come out and said they were running late at another job and asked if we could reschedule, which we did. On the Saturday morning that they were to come out, he called to tell me one of the 3-man crew was sick, but he could give me 1 1/2 hours with 2 men, which I thought was fair and agreed to. The men were thorough and I'm very happy with the results.

When I signed up for the great deal($89 for 2 workers for one hour), I filled out the preferred time to have the work done, but mentioned that I needed to have the work done by a certain time and if it wasn't going to be possible I would make other arrangements. I never received a call or email. When I filled out a follow-up questionaire from Angie's List, I got an email. I repeated the previous info and still never got any response. That Saturday, the two men from Terra Turf showed up with no notice. I went outside and discussed what needed to be done. Even though we had no notice as to when they were coming, we will definitely use Terra Turf again.

Terra Turf did a great job! He offered a competitive price and was able to quickly fit us into their schedule (we called on during the first week of November). They accommodated some last minute additions my wife asked for and came back to reposition a new wreath over a second story window. Some lights quit working and he had someone out within a few days. I highly recommend Terra Turf and plan to use them for our lights next year. The previous company (Jurassic) was terrible. The lights quit working the week before Christmas and despite repeated calls they never came back to fix them. The short in the lights (due to a metal staple they used to fasten to roofline) could have started a fire. They also cut the lights off the columns instead of unwrapping them. Found that little secret out this year as Terra Turf unpacked the boxes.

What a wonderful experience. I purchased a coupon through the deal of the day for Mulch. Asked them to clean the beds also. I knew they were coming this week. Yesterday, I went out to get my mail and when I turned around and noticed my surroundings, I was so excited. The from never looked do good. Everything was neat and orderly. It took my breath away. I am certainly contacting them to do all my landscaping needs. GREAT JOB!

we are preparing to move and wanted to clean up the yard for curb appeal. these guys did a fantastic job and i expect to hire at our new home bc of the job they did to help me prep. A++

It was difficult to get them on the phone for scheduling. When I got a call back they apologized because they were having trouble with their phone and could not retrieve messages. I paid for three people and two people showed up and immediately cleared all the leaves from the yard, flower bed. They trimmed the bushes, edged and mowed the lawn front, back and side and they pruned/trimmed the tree. They did an excellent job.

They did an excellent job, doing more than I expected. So I would highly recommend them to my relatives and friends. Great job, thanks!

It was actually difficult to try to get them on the line for scheduling. I mean there was some bad weather but it was also really tough to try to get them set down a time when they would be really available but the work they did was good. It was the scheduling that was really bad. They broke one of our lights around the pool. It was a big deal purchase, they did not take anything extra. The crew was okay. They were apologetic because they broke the light but other than that, their scheduling like I said I mean they were scheduled to come at 8:30 in the morning and they never came until 3:30 in the afternoon. So we had to wait around the whole day for them to show up. So that is the only thing, that and the broken light at the pool was the only issue that we had. The people were very friend and they cleaned up after themself. I learned later that there were other companies that provide the same service for less around the area, through some neighbors but they did a good job for what we paid. I would not consider them in the future because it was really tough to get them on schedule and I wouldn't pay for someone like that for regular lawn maintenance.

I would say it was 16th of December. They came in, showed up, did the work and were all well done. I think they might have actually a little more when they needed to. I bought like 3-men hours and I am pretty sure they went over one hour.

It went well, Terra turf did both the front and backyards. Only problem was removal of the clippings which were left in our front yard, I did mot know Frisco is so picky on what their garbage service will remove and how it must be packaged. I called Terra Turf and they promptly returned and removed the clippings and leaves which were in plastic sacks. I am very pleased with their services.

They rock! Definitely will use them again!

I bought the 'deal' for 89 dollars. I wanted to get the dry leaves cleaned up. I scheduled a date about 1.5 weeks later. The three men came around 9 AM as I requested. I did not know what to expect. They did not ring the door bell and ask what I needed done. They immediately set to work cleaning the leaves off the sidewalk, front/back/side yards, flower bed. They also trim the hedges in the front flower bed; which I really appreciated. They put the leaves in the Home Depot yard trimming bags. They did a very good job. I am glad I called them.

A little delayed due to weather, but it was a great job in spite of circumstances! I would recommend them.

The work was performed in a professional manner and was excellent, better than expected. A full hour plus was performed by the three men for the one hour special fee. The only negative was the untimely delay of the workers arrival due to scheduling difficulties by the main office.

There were two men for 3 hours instead of 3 men for 2, which was fine. Our appointment was postponed by massive rains but they rescheduled quickly. Although the owner was not with the crew, the two men did a very efficient and effective job and took care of all my requests.

Matt and his crew were great. VERY good pricing and excellent service. I would use him again for sure!

It’s good. I don’t have any bad experiences with them. They seem to do a good job and show up when they’re supposed to. I have no complaints with them. They’re always there to answer the phone and answer any questions or get back with us quickly.

This 3 man crew was amazing. We had a bit of a mixup on the time of service, but they came back on Saturday and knocked it out of the park. They did everything I asked them and more. My yard and gutters are so clean! Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

The 3 workers did a fantastic job in my yard this morning. They were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10, and showed up promptly at 8:20. They mowed all my grass, trimmed the roses, shrubs, and trees, weeded the flower beds and cleaned up all the leaves. It would have taken me a fully day to do what they did. I will definitely use Terra Turf in the future.

Initial contact had to be initiated by me a day after i purchased the Big Deal. I was told they would arrive for service in the afternoon which is a pretty large window. They came @ 330 PM and instead of the promised 3 men, it was just 2. Anyways, they did mow the lawn and trim the hedges as I wanted them to do. They also did a good job with the cleanup. For improvements, would like better communication from the company and better time estimates for service rather than wait for the entire afternoon.

Great job. This was a last minute call for help to get our yard cleaned up. We don't currently have a lawn service and we needed lots of work but we ran out of time in our schedule to do this ourselves like we normally do. They were quick to respond to my call and the work completed as scheduled with no problems.

They showed up on time, and worked very efficiently and cleaned up. He knows the stuff. I would definitely want him back to maintain our flower bed.

The Terra Turf crew that Matt sent to my house last week was very thorough, conscientious, and worked quickly and efficiently. On a regular basis I do most of my own yard work, so when I do hire someone to supplement what I can do; I have high expectations for what good service looks like. The crew worked very quickly, and did an excellent job removing the portions of the landscape that I wanted eliminated. I was also very pleased with the price, especially since they hauled away the discarded materials. I will use Terra Turf again as I have landscape projects more involved than I choose to do.
