 + -1 moreThis was a big painting job and I was nervous about spending this much money....the house is only 5 years old but had been painted poorly at the start so we had a lot of problems to correct. I got six quotes before selecting a company - Renaissance was neither the highest nor lowest quote, but I selected them because I felt they communicated the parts of the job the clearest. I was very pleased with the outcome and the level of service. Douglas and Ulises managed their crew carefully and communicated thoroughly we me. I asked to start the job on a specific date about 6 weeks after receiving the quote and Douglas not only agreed, the crew showed up and started work on the appointed day! The job was expected to run 2 weeks and only went over by 2 days, mostly due to rain and the fact that I asked the crew not to work on one Saturday. They were very patient and helpful with color selection too, putting up sample colors in multiple spots so that we could make the best choice. Best of all was the work itself - they were extremely meticulous with the prep work and made no mistakes. They also cleaned up all parts of the job thoroughly. After this paint job, my house and garage look brand new!
Description of Work: Complete exterior paint job for 3 story 3600 square foot Tudor style house and detached garage (2/3 stucco/board trim) including: repairing and replacing rotten boards, power washing, sanding, caulking, other prep work, priming, paint (two colors), staining cedar beams on porches, and strip and staining front door.

This is one of the most professional groups of experts I have used in years. We also used them for interior painting and had the exact same experience. I heartily recommend!

 + -1 moreIf you want a paint job to last, this is the company to use.
Description of Work: We have a 75 year old home w/detached garage and garage apt that had chipped paint, rotten wood, etc., despite an exterior paint job 5 or 6 years ago by a prior owner. The crew at Renaissance spent 3 weeks on the exterior, with much of that devoted to preparation. All windows and doors were power washed before they began scraping the windows. They used 8 gallons of spackling. They had to search extensively (think they found them in Kansas) for odd shaped wooden boards to match the boards being replaced on the garage, did tons of caulking, and cleaned-up after themselves. They did an absolutely phenomenal job. I'm sure that many painters would have started to cut corners rather than do the job right. We also were not asked to pay anything, not even supplies, until completion. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work.
