From the person answering the call to the tech who did the service, this company was an A all the way. They sent a picture of the tech, same-day service, tech arrived on time, service was thorough, and garage was cleaned up. Based on this first experience, we'll definitely call them again, if/when needed.

Garage door stopped working Friday morning. Plano Overhead was recommended to me by my regular garage door company who was too busy to repair quickly. They were out within an hour of my call and got it fixed by the afternoon. Excellent service at a fair price.

They did a great job. The door would not close the night before so I called them at 7am and they had a technician there by 8am. All repairs were completed and the door opens and closes like it was new. Also got some good tips from Jake about continued maintenance.

The garage door opener installation was prompt, efficient and effective. The technician was courteous, professional, and obviously very capable. The pre-sale phone discussion was also instructional and factored into my final decision.

It was very easy to make an appointment. We were able to book for the next morning. Personnel called prior to arriving and was prompt and friendly. Easy to do business with. We asked about replacing a part as an add on, and it was taken care of quickly, with no mess left behind.

The door was slightly out of alignment and was adjusted. Other parts were fine.

After our old garage door had one more ‘episode’ I told my wife I wanted to replace the stupid thing. I called 3 companies for quotes. They were all within a hundred or two dollars in price. One failed to send me their quote so I eliminated them. The remaining two, one of which was Plano Overhead Garage Door, were very close in price. I then compared the door each would install. One would install a CHI door and the other a ProDoor model. Each was insulated. Each was cosmetically identical. There was only one small difference in the gauge of steel used in constructing the door which I assumed accounted for the .4 difference in R value of the door. I then compared the warranty of each, and the Plano Overhead came out ahead. The spring is covered by a lifetime warranty. If the spring breaks all I have to pay for is the service call and not the spring. Representatives from both companies were great to work with. They answered all my questions and concerns without any issues. Steve Reese of Plano Overhead was very friendly and knowledgeable about both the product and the company. The installer, Jake Hurt, was also friendly and answered all my questions. I called on Monday and they came out on Tuesday to install. The time to remove the old door and install the new was about three hours. Jake made sure the door and existing opener worked as expected. Cleanup was great as well. Overall, I think I had two fine companies to choose from and I am very happy with the one I went with. Time will tell as to the longevity of the door but for now it looks and works great. We no longer have a running bet as to when the old one would come crashing down. The new one is so much quieter than the old. And, with the insulation and seals I had them add to complete the affect, I am sure it will help with our westward facing door. I would not hesitate in recommending Plano Overhead Garage Door to anyone.

Great service from Plano Overhead Garage - JT arrived as scheduled, with a nifty text about him sent 10-15 min in advance, and did a great job performing the service on our garage. Explained things in a way that was very easy to understand, presented different options, and helped out with some basic maintenance on a 2nd garage that we have (which is now operating better than it ever has in the 5 years we’ve been in the house). Highly recommend.

Serviceman was the same man who sold me my garage door almost a year ago! Not only did he recognize me, but he remembered my dogs and asked about them! I called in the morning, and he came the same afternoon -- that's service that is fast and efficient! I am impressed and will tell anyone I know to use Plano Overhead Garage -- and that is the first time I have been able to say that about a company that I have used!

Just purchased a new home and had Plano Overhead down to replace the old opener and do a tune up on the door. We had used them before at our old home, and they were just as accommodating this time, even though we’re right on the edge of their service area. The guys arrived right on time and were incredibly diligent about following Covid-19 mask and distancing protocols while making sure they could explain everything to me. Probably could have found someone closer and cheaper, but I know with this company it will be done right by courteous and well-trained technicians. This is one of those rare service providers that I’d rate as the best in their field.

Outstandingly well. They came same day called, assessed issue and presented options, then installed new door opener motor assembly, wall pad, and tied SUV button to opener, all in under 1/5 hours. Professional, knowledgeable, excellent communicator, and pleasant. Could not have gone better!

This is the second time I've asked Plano Overhead Garage Door to help me. The first time, the problem was easy to fix, and they did it for no charge. This time, my back-up battery failed, and the opener was beeping every few minutes. They scheduled my repair for the same day! The repairman arrived exactly on time and completed the task within 20 minutes. He was professional and personable. For sure, I'll call this company next time I need help.
