Hutch-N-Son Painting & Drywall

It went great! Pete Hutchinson's crew did a beautiful job. They replaced the facia board and painted it to match my siding. They also painted some extra areas in order for everything to look nice. They were always on time and worked very efficiently. His crew also kept the yard cleaned up and hauled away any trash. Pete was very easy to work with and explained everything that they were going to do. I would hire them again in the future.

I was very concerned that my entire ceiling would have to be repainted if the paint didn't match perfectly. I was pleasantly surprised that the not only did I not have to have the entire ceiling repainted (because it was a spot-on match), but price was actually 12% LESS than what I was quoted. Arrived on time (actually even a little earlier), did a god job of cleaning up after the project was completed, professional, and good quality workmanship. Would definitely use again.

I called Pete and explained the job of repairing water damage to our kitchen ceiling. He asked me to send him pictures and said that he will get back with me soon after that. I sent the pictures and Pete promptly responded with an estimate. I agreed to the work and the estimate and he scheduled it two days later. The guys showed up on time to start the job. They did a great job of protecting the kitchen by putting plastic all around the work area from the ceiling to floor and covered all the work area floor. The job was completed in a high-quality way. They cleaned up the area very well and the job was thorough while promptly completed. Pete was very easy to do business with. I did not have to contact him multiple times, he sent information when he said he would, and his crew did the work on-time and as scheduled without me having to deal with rescheduling or no shows. The cost was very reasonable and fair. Strongly recommended and I intend to use him again.

Great! Working w Pete and his team is a homeowner's dream. Pete always responds to email and/or phone inquiries promptly and honestly. Both he and the team he assigns to work in the house clearly are professionals; they work hard, long hours, and they are intent in doing a great job. Before they started painting, they covered all the floors, moved the furniture in each room together, and covered it all with plastic. Pete came In each day to see how the job was progressing. The house was completed expertly in less than 4 days bc of the work ethic, knowledge, and skills of Pete and the team. Pete came out and gave us a quote and it was a good price for the amount of work. I later asked him if they would paint our baseboards too and that quote was fair as well. They arrived on time and worked hard right up until 5:30 p.m. The job was going to take 2 days and when I added in the baseboards he said it might be another couple of hours to finish the following day. I told him I was picking up relatives from the airport to spend the weekend and was hoping everything would be done in the 2 days and he made sure everything got done before my company came that evening. We are very pleased with the result and with Hutch n Son Painting. I would definitely use them again for any painting we might need.

Top of the line in all categories. Pete quoted me a price in a message exchange but when he came out and saw the job he actually lowered the price. Everything was outstanding. Pete was very responsive. Pricing was very fair and the work quality is outstanding. Unless you know exactly where to look, and really look hard, the patch is completely unnoticeable and the texturing blends in perfectly. I plan to have alot more work done by this company.

Great. Had work done in other rooms by another company and job was TERRIBLE. So hired Hutch-N-Son and was very happy with the professional job they did.

Pete is a pleasure to work he arrived on time to provide our estimate, He then worked with us to allow the gutter company time to remove all of the gutters this was delayed because of rain but Pete continued to reschedule. The gutters were removed on Saturday his Team power washed the home on Monday and repainted it on Tuesday finishing by 12 noon on Wednesday.

The bottom line is that if you are looking for a great experience when hiring and working with a painting vendor, Pete is your guy. The entire process was easy and smooth. Pete contacted me shortly after I messaged him, he showed up on time to give me an estimate and he showed up on time with a hard working/polite crew that finished my paint job in 1 day!! What more could a person ask for?? We need more companies like this in the DFW area. It was nice to feel like a valued customer.

I highly recommend Pete. He was very punctual and did a great job. He fixed a few places where some other painters had made some mistakes. He came out the day after I called him and gave me a free estimate. We ended up doing a few more things that we originally agreed on, and his additional charges were very reasonable. The stain we picked out for the fence actually didn't look as good as we thought, so he restained it a different color for free. I will definitely use Pete and his crew again. A+

My husband and I purchased a completely original 1962 ranch home (approximately 2400 sq ft) in Dallas. Along with that purchase came decades worth of settling cracks made even worse from the rash of earthquakes we had last year. A lot of them were very bad and would run the entire length of a ceiling or wall and there wasn't a doorway or window that did not have cracks stemming from them. We started a search for a repair company via Angie's List starting November of 2015 and ending when we found Hutch-N-Son painting in December. He showed up on time to provide the free estimate, was professional and courteous, and provided a quote within 24 hours that was much less expensive than anything else we had been quoted. We quickly booked an appointment to start work in January. When he contacted me a week before the appointment to confirm I informed him that I was going to be away on business that I did not know of and he made rescheduling for February 4th very easy. The start of the appointment was 8:30 am and Pete and two workers showed up at 8:15 am ready to go. Pete walked through with us and his workers going over everything that needed to be done, and the two workers got down to business. Instead of the two days work we were quoted, they stayed until nearly 7:00 pm and got everything done. They were very professional and polite, answering any questions we may have had during the work and didn't miss any tiny crack or hole in the walls or ceilings. They cleaned up very well afterwards and it's as if they were never here. Pete called me the next morning, February 5th, to make sure everything was great and to apologize for not being able to come back the night before to do a walkthrough. He asked me how I preferred to pay and ended up taking even more off the quoted total because we changed some things last minute. The quality of work is amazing and they matched the texture perfectly. I could not be happier and I will definitely be using them again for repairs in our garage and possibly painting services. Definitely go with Hutch-N-Son for an estimate!

The work looks great. Professionally repaired, texturized to match, and paint ready. I elected to the painting, but the quote for that was reasonable. Pete was: on time for the estimate, on time (early) for the work itself. He and his crew were professional and courteous. Everything went smoothly. The price was quite reasonable for the amount of work. We have additional work coming up, and I will deifinitely work with Pete again.
