We were extremely impressed with Dura Pier from the start as compared to some of the other companies. Someone a few streets over had recommended them. They were prompt, courteous, and professional. I like their pier system, and we have had unsuccessful experiences with another company before. We had several companies look at the problem and give plans and estimates but Dura Pier's approach seemed superior. Their cost was at the upper end of estimates but not the highest. They also recommended closer placement of piers since we have a tall 2 story home, so they had a few more piers in their plan. We could not get one of the other companies to return calls and considered that a bad sign. The company contacted us promptly to schedule a time to place the piers and arrived at the scheduled time. We were told it could take up to 3 days, and they completed in 2 (Some companies promoted completion in one day, but I was more concerned with doing it right this time instead of fast). The workers were courteous and worked very hard. When the house was finally leveled, they checked to be sure that all the doors in the house would operate properly and repaired all the concrete cracks that had developed between the bricks in our house. They were very careful with the plumbing. The extensive piles of dirt that had been placed on plywood in the yard were all replaced, and it was difficult to tell that anyone had placed 15-20 piers and installed a very long root barrier. Following completion, we received a schematic with engineering drawings regarding the information on each pier and the warranty. Since this is a new repair, I have not had the opportunity to request them to come back, so I can't comment on their warranty work. Overall, we were extremely pleased from start to finish with Dura Pier.

The crew was professional, prompt and thorough. They broom swept the property at the close of the day. They toook extra care to protect furniture, grass and shrubs. The work is of the highest quality. I highly recommend DuraPier.

The crew arrived at the designated time and went straight to work. They removed several shrubberies with a nice sized root ball intact and set them aside safely with cardboard under them to protect our grass. The installation took several hours. The dirt they dug from around our foundation was also placed on cardboard and was returned to the holes they made after the installation was completed. All plants were also replaced as they were before the job started. All members of the crew were extremely polite and cordial when we went to inspect the work. They cleaned the area and it was back to its original condition before they left our home. Over the past few months we noticed some doors didn't close as easily as they did before. Also, there were areas where we noticed some space at a corner of some sheet rock. We also noticed a substantial crack in our slab where it was uncovered during some remodeling. We called Dura Pier to ask them to come out and check. After a thorough investigation, Mr. Davis informed us there was absolutely nothing wrong with the other area of our foundation. The crack was actually normal and probably was there from when the cement cured. He suggested we install a root barrier between our foundation and an oak tree that pulls much water from that area. We asked for an estimate for the root barrier and he provided it within two days. We are very pleased with the quality of work done by Dura Pier in the past. We also provided them with an opportunity to do unneeded services and they were quite honest and told us there was no problem with our foundation. We plan to have the root barrier installed soon. Carter Davis is a man of great integrity. We plan to use his company for any foundation concerns we might have int he future and we highly recommend them.

From the initial consult with Carter to the 3 day experience with Emilio and his crew, I found everyone to be extremely professional. Each day, the crew arrived promptly every morning. The work space was kept extremely neat and inconveniences were minimal. At the end of the project, my home looked better than before they came.

Dura Pier answered my message promptly & followed up readily with estimates & foundation leveling. They were a little high with their prices, but explained the checking for low & high spots & the work involved. The foundation leveling was scheduled as soon as I agreed on a price & the work crew was on time. They didn't check for low or high spots as promised & the bedroom in the back has dropped because it wasn't leveled, so I feel they didn't do a very good job.
