Description of Work: We were extremely impressed with the professionalism and customer care at DFW Improved and specifically Case! Even though we very much wanted to use DFW improved our project needs were vast, and independent trade bids for our total project ended up being the only way to move forward with our budget. Many times along the way dealing with multiple contractors wished I had a DFW Improved project manager instead of me running in circles getting everything completed within our timeline! Will definitely consider them for future projects!

Description of Work: Called me twice to set up appointment (thats two times) and failed to show up both times. Dont waist your effort.

Description of Work: We remodeled our entire master bath...tub, shower, vanity, fixtures, toilet, etc. We were happy with the final workmanship of the remodel. We were less happy with our project leader. We were asked for our preferred working hours, yet the workers stayed later fairly often. Problematic when our 2 year old and dogs have returned home, though understandable to keep schedules aligned since we nixed working on the weekend. The work went a week and a half longer than estimated (fixtures/sink/mirror alignment, water temperature problem, hole puncher coming on Sunday, etc) which was frustrating. We also had problems with the hot water being turned off several times early on in the process, which we always discovered during our child's bathtime. They did replace some light fixtures we needed elsewhere in the house (including one light in a hard-to-reach spot which had been out for 7 years) for a reasonable cost. With everything considered, we love the work and would hire them again in the future.

Description of Work: They installed a French door and fencing. The work was fantastic and I am happy with the work.

Description of Work: Donnie came out to give me a quote on some work I needed done. He was prompt, a great communicator, very helpful and all-around nice. I'm sure DFW Improved does good work, but I just can't afford them. For some painting and drywall work, they wanted $7,000. $1,095 alone just to power wash a gazebo and spray paint it.

Description of Work: We had DFW improved come out to give us a quote on a bathroom remodel. Right now it was more than we had budgeted, but I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and knowledge.

Was very good working with us on price, We expected to pay over 2k in deductible and ended up only having to pay 1200. They're very up front with you on price and do a very thorough job on the timeline that they suggest they will use. Great company, Great crew on work day, Great all around.

Description of Work: After having our foundation repaired, it was necessary to repair and paint many cracks in the sheetrock of several rooms..I selected DFW IMPROVED even though they were NOT the lowest bid! What convinced me to hire them is: They were very highly rated in "Angie's List" and also in the North Dallas Best Picks Reports for Quality Home Services(formerly Beacon Reports). My initial contact was John Dunaway. I have never been more impressed with ANY service provider than I was with John! He was extremely open, honest, and professional. He explained all of the procedures that would take place and answered all my questions. I could not have been more pleased. After I selected DFW Improved, I told John that although they were not the lowest bidder, I had a "gut" feeling they would do the best job! I am not an individual who selects a service provider by price alone! My "gut" feeling in this case was correct! The work was on schedule, and everything that John told me was accurate. John had told me that due to the age of paint and my lack of paint surplus,matching paint cannot be guaranteed. However, when the work was completed, it would take the eye of a true professional painter to ascertain that we had cracks repaired and painted! My wife and I could not have been more pleased! Chad McCormick was the Project Manager on this job and all of the kudos I gave John also apply to Chad! I HIGHLY recommend DFW Improved for any home repairs or remodels.

Description of Work: DFW Improved completely remodeled our master bathroom. The team was very conscious of cleanliness and kept us informed along the way. At the beginning we had a little confusion as to the size of the shower, but because they were communicating all along the way, it was easily remedied. Additionally, we did not initially like how the stain on the cabinets came out, so they made sure it was fixed to our liking. This company is very customer satisfaction focused.

Description of Work: We had planned to turn an unfinished attict space into an extra bedroom. DFW Improved's sales person was 100% honest that the space we had really could not be made into what we wanted without extreme demo, rebuild and cost. I appreciated his honesty and based on his suggestion, we repurposed another living space into what we needed. When we are ready for the major project, we will call DFW Improved!
