Description of Work: We've used Classic Plumbing for over 20 years at 2 different homes we've owned. Last week our daughter had a leaking faucet outside their garage that needed to be fixed ASAP. I called Classic and they had a guy there the next morning. Leak was fixed quickly and life returned to normal. These guys always respond quickly and professionally. Glad that we discovered them all those years ago.

Description of Work: They've put in a few toilets, cleaned out pipes, repaired various plumbing issues. We've used them for 20 years. They're always on time and have a fair price. They are wonderful and very courteous. They explain what they're going to do and explain the price as well. I'd give them an A+!

Description of Work: The first time I called Classic it was for a faucet and disposal installation. These were completed very satisfactorily and for a very reasonable cost. The serviceperson was very personable and seemed fair. Then we had a disastrous water heater failure in the attic which was replaced successfully and in good time. I felt, though, that there were several opportunities taken to overcharge us which added at least $200 to an already high charge.

 + 0 moreMy toilet overflowed all over the bathroom floor and water seeped into the room next to it and down the hall. My home warranty carrier advised that a clog wouldn't be covered. I consulted Angie's List for a plumber that was close and could come out on a Sunday. When I called and explained what had happened, the woman said that Ken would be out "within the hour." After an hour and a half, there was no sign of him and no call to say he was running late, so I called back. I spoke with a man this time. He said Ken had been given my information and was usually on site "in about an hour and a half." When Ken finally arrived, two hours and twenty minutes had passed. Once I told him what had occurred, he knew immediately that he'd have to go outside to the clean-out pipe and use the snake. After that was done, he came back in and replaced a worn flapper in the toilet tank. Total time of service call was about 40 minutes and the problem was resolved.
Description of Work: Ken snaked the plumbing from the clean-out pipe outside the house to the street. He also replaced the flapper in the toilet tank.

The plumber arrived on time and immediately got to work. Instead of simply reseating the commode, they inspected the fixing and made sure it was secure first. Overall, it was a great job that was done quickly.

BUT, HOURLY CHARGES WOULD BE $100. JIM WORKED EXACTLY ONE HOUR, DID A GOOD JOB ON ALL OUR PLUMBING NEEDS, AND THE PRICE WAS FAIR. THEY ALSO CALLED BEFORE THEY CAME TO CONFIRM APPT.
Description of Work: KITCHEN SINK WATERPIPE OR HOSE? WAS LEAKING, AND I ALSO NEEDED NEW WASHERS FOR BOTH THE TUB AND SHOWER IN THE MASTER BATH.
