We took advantage of the $99.00 special offered through Angie's List and are very glad we did. Originally scheduled for Sat, 5 Oct, but Jack called early enough in the day and stated he was so busy and wanted to know if he could reschedule us for between 8:00-10:00AM on Mon, 7 Oct--it really worked out well for us. When I first contacted them, I really did not expect them to schedule us as soon as they did. Jack called Mon morning just around 8;00 and stated he was on his way--very prompt, very professional, and went right to work. I was at work but my husband said he did not waste anytime and was a very nice young man--we will use this company at least yearly to ensure our fireplace is clean and safe for us and the wildlife in the area! Highly recommend Chimney & Wildlife Specialist to everyone!

The technician answered all my questions and then some, he was very informative.

Jack called ahead of time to let me know he was on the way. Very nice young man, firm hand shake. He did an excellent job of cleaning and inspecting the chimney. There was absolutely no mess. I shall definitely use this company again.

I had purchased my home 3 years prior and was uncertain about the state of my chimney. I purchased the Big Deal for the chimney sweep and inspection. Jack arrived about 20 minutes early - which was fine, as he did call first. He said that my chimney had very little buildup and didn't need cleaning, but he did it anyway. He also climbed up on the roof to check it from the top down. I was pleased with the service.

Perfect. Cleaned up afterwards so no mess. Gave recommendations on next cleaning time frame

I was not at home at time of service. My sister told me the provider was courteous and explained everything to her. He wrote notes for me and ssked me to call for further explanation or with any questions. Cleanup was taken care of after work was completed. I recommend this company & will use their service again as needed.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Explained what services would be provided, then after the inspection, discussed what was found and what he would do to address the issues. Several issues would require another visit, so he wrote up a detailed estimate for the additional services and explained how each issue would be addressed and what the cost would be. Completed the chimney sweep process and cleaned up so the house was cleaner than when he arrived! He did arrive about an hour later than expected, but he did call to say that he was stuck in traffic.

I was very happy with the services. My chimney and dryer vent are not the easiest to clean, and they performed the work well. The work was done as scheduled, and they even spent some time on other issues that were not part of the service. I will be using them again.

Jack was extremely professional and very friendly. My very old home had no damper in the chimney. Jack was patient and explained to me exactly how the damper works, what my chimney needed to become fire safe, how the flu works, etc. He kept everything clean and tolerated my curious dogs. I would happily work with him again.

It was fine but I think it was overpriced. Neither one of the jobs took very long to complete. I wouldn’t say it was the most through job. They did what they were supposed to do, but I just think it was overpriced. This is one of the least satisfied purchases I have made on Angie’s List. If the deal would’ve been less it would’ve been better, and then when I found a deal on the website to clean just the chimney for only $99 by the same company.

It went exceptional, Jack was very professional and personable during the process. He also recommended a few other optional services. No issues, whatsoever.

Flexible schedule, quick feedback, and timely completion

The chimney sweep from Chimney & Wildlife Specialists came right on time, kept everything spotless as he worked, was very quick and competent, clearly knew what he was doing and had appropriate tools even for our oversize fireplace and very high chimney, answered questions, and gave us a feel based on our use of the fireplace when we might need to have him back. Everything we needed. He called in advance to let us know when he?d be there. Very professional.

1st visit--good experience. Cleaned chimney, took pictures of areas of concern. Told me the chimney cap was holding on by a thread. He was right, about 2 months later it blew off. Left quote for repair work to make everything safe and secure. Very professional and personable. 2nd visit--After obtaining 3 quotes for new chimney cap and repair, went with Chimney Specialist. Their quote was in the middle and I was happy with the first visit. Called to say he was running late, I appreciated that. Went straight to work, explained everything he did and gave some helpful tips. Once again, felt the technician was very professional and personable. Would not hesitate to have them clean/inspect/repair my chimney in the future.

Extremely personable and professional. All work was performed well. The cost for add-ons to the Big Deal set amount, I thought were rather high. I did feel secure in knowing that the chimney and fireplace were safe for use as that house was being prepared as a rental property.

Ben called to let me know traffic was bad & he'd be 5-10 minutes late - he was very knowledgable & answered all my questions. He did a great job cleaning the fire place & pointing out different things to look for maintenance wise. We will definitely be using C&WS again!!!

It was great and still is. They were unable to unclog my dryer vents on the roof and now my dryer works as it should. Steep roof to be up on but no problem for their skill. Very happy and would recommend and use again.

No complaints - they were on-time, clean, and did a great job. I feel confident in using my fireplace now.
