B & B Maids Service Inc

I am a landlord and therefore use make-ready type house cleaning services pretty regularly. I was looking for a reliable company that would do a quality job. I was quoted that it would be between $150 and $250 for the 1800 sf house. That is more than I usually pay...I normally pay $125, and the most I have paid in 10 years is $180. I didn't negotiate those prices, that is what they offered the services to me at. I was willing to pay a little more for better reliability and quality than the previous $125 jobs, and expecting it would be less than $180, so I went with B&B based on the reviews. I ended up charged $250, and the quality was equal to the $125 jobs, and much worse than the $180 jobs. Allan (the owner) was very responsive to my concerns and sent the same cleaners back the next day to address them. They were all very sweet, but after inspecting their re-work, I had to ask them to wipe down the outside of the cabinets for a third time. I know some might think I am just being picky...but if I can see sticky brown PATCHES with my naked eye, and make that goo come off with just a swipe of my finger...I don't consider that being too picky. I will not be using these cleaners again. There are better and more cost effective to choose from. I gave an A on responsiveness because the owner could always be easily reached, was easy to work with, and addressed my concern. I gave a B on punctuality because they were supposed to come at 10 but rescheduled to 12:30. I gave a B on professionalism because the two ladies were sweet, but they did not speak english. It was difficult to communicate things such as "Please wipe down all of the cabinets, not just the particular dirty spots that I am pointing out."

Allan and his team showed up exactly on time which we like. We also like their work but we expect them to be better since they are professionals and that he said they do the deep cleaning for the first time. But it was not that clean around the faucets, cabinets, base boards, light stands. Well, we will surely give them another chance hoping that he would guide his team to improve.

They were great. Considering we have a pet snaked and she got loose when my husband met them to give them the key and to clean, we found her quickly and put her back and she got out again and I came straight home and found her again.

Our first shot at a cleaning service was a bit disappointing, and I almost considered not even bothering to try a new company. But I figured I would give B & B Maids Service a shot, and I am very glad I did. What more can I say other than that I was impressed with the level of service from B & B Maids Service. Allan was great over the phone. Always returning my calls in a very timely manner. He was so nice and genuine on the phone. He even asked me what my dog's name was when I told him we had a dog but that he wouldn't be there when they came to clean. Great customer service on his part. I also felt like the price was REALLY reasonable compared to some of the other places I had looked into. When I got home, everything looked fabulous. I was so blown away by the level of detail. The carpets looked great, all the trash cans were emptied, dishes were placed in the dishwasher, floors were mopped, bathrooms were sparkling, everything was dusted, bed was made, curtains were left open to let in natural light, all surfaces were wiped down and probably more that I'm forgetting to mention. The apartment even smelled clean! We have a dog that sheds all the time, and it's hard to always get the fur out of the carpet, but I felt like they did a good job. They even folded over the toilet paper in the master bathroom into a cute little triangle! A tiny detail, I know, but THAT'S what sets them a part. We were going to do bi-weekly cleanings, but because the service and overall cleaning was so great, we've decided to go with weekly cleanings. Thanks so much B & B Maids Service! Using them for our second time they once again did an excellent job. They cleaned our 2000 sq ft rental house from floor to ceiling. They dusted, mopped, vacuumed, and cleaned windows. Also cleaned the kitchen and all 3 bathrooms. We were very satisfied with the service and once again they honored their estimate even though it took them an extra 1.5 hours. We will definitely keep using them.

We just purchased a house and before moving in had all of the floors (tile/carpet) taken out and put in hardwoods. This created quite the mess if you could imagine. They cleaned our entire house from floor to ceiling and did an excellent job. They dusted, mopped, vacuumed, and shampooed the carpets. We were very satisfied with the service and just hired them again to clean the rental house we moved out of. They came out to the house and gave us an estimate. It took 3 hours longer than estimated to clean the house but they only charged us what the estimate was. We will definitely keep using them!

Allan and his crew did a move-out clean for me today. The place was in pretty bad shape, but they managed to finish in 2 hours. I needed some extra help with bringing trash down the stairs and loading up stuff into my truck, as I didn't have help with my move. I told Allan about my situation and he said he'd help me get everything taken care of. He brought stuff down himself and I was so thankful. The cleaning the ladies did was also good. I was pleased and will use this company again.

I like them a lot and I haven’t had any problems with them. They are very thorough because the guy that owns the place he came out and asked me what I wanted and I told him. They don’t speak English that’s about the only thing I can’t say about. They do a real good job and if I don’t like something I just call the guy up and he takes care of it. In terms of prices it’s just about right I guess they could probably charge a little bit less because another company they are pretty expensive. They are always here on time and if I don’t like something I could point to it and tell them what I want and they’ll do it even though that they don’t understand English that good. I would probably use them again in another two to three weeks.

I have been a customer of Allen's since approx 2004 when he first started his business. I have been delighted every time. His employees have never missed a detail - Excellent Quality Service ! Whenever I have recommended B&B to friends they are also impressed!

Unfortunately they were almost 2 hours late. I had to call to find out if they were still coming, I would have expected someone to call me to say they were running late. I asked that they concentrate on the kitchen and baths, but thought they would at least go over the empty rooms quickly. They did not. I am not terribly picky when it comes to housecleaning, but they did not do a good job. The cabinet fronts still had drips on them, the light switches were filthy and the showers were not thoroughly cleaned. Also, while I told Allan about the Angie's List coupon when I called to arrange the service, the cleaners told my husband they didn't know anything about it and did not honor it. Overall the house was cleaner than when they arrived, but I would be unlikely to call again.

.They only thing I noticed was that they could of have been a little bit cleaner. Its fine though. I would use them again if I need their services.

All major areas were attended to with great detail. We have lots of very fragile objects that were carefully tended to when cleaning. I would recommend this service.

I received an email right away requesting a visit to the house for an estimate. I met the owner, Allan, a couple of days later. He was able to provide an estimate (and several options) at the same time. Once I notified him that we would like to use his company, arrangements were made for the next available day on his schedule. His team arrived at 8:30 and when I stopped by the house after work to check it out, I was pleasantly surprised. His team did an amazing job. They thoroughly cleaned the house as promised. The bathrooms looked incredible - in particular - the shower stall which I figured would require some elbow grease. There were a few missed baseboards and unvacuumed corners, but overall a really great job. Their work made it so much easier for us to prepare the home for leasing. Thanks so much.

The owner, Allan, is very responsive. He responds via email very quickly any time I have ever needed anything. The quote provided was quick and easy. The ladies do a great job cleaning, any 'feedback' from us is handled through the owner and addressed immediately, They are always on time. They will use their cleaning supplies or yours, whatever you want. They have never broken anything (which has happened with other cleaners), are fine around our dogs and are very efficient (it takes a couple hours to do our house). They do a great job.

They gave an estimate on Monday, I approved it on Tuesday, and they did the cleaning today (Friday). They were excellent. My mother said, "They actually did more than they needed to do," which is a great compliment from my mother.

EXCELLENT SERVICE! :O) I have been using BB Maids since July and I am very pleased with the service offered. The owner, Allan, is the jewel of this company as he leaves the communication line open to feedback and any complaints/comments for improvement, etc. Two cleaning ladies were assigned to my house, and I am very pleased with their performance overall. The first time they came, they used their cleaning tools and products. I have requested them to use my own cleaning tools and products, as well as that they take their shoes off while cleaning (we don't use shoes at the house). One of the cleaning ladies was having a hard time being barefoot while cleaning, so Allan (the owner) bought them shoe covers, which solved the problem. I thought is was FANTASTIC that he took the time to find a solution! After I had a few (very minor) complaints, Allan came to inspect the house right after the cleaning, and it was spotless. I have used cleaning services for more than 15 years and I am very pleased with the customer service I have been receiving from BB Maids. That is what makes a difference in this business. I am glad that I have found them (highly rated!!) here at Angie's List. I HIGHLY recommend this company!

Very poorly. Have never gotten call back from company owner. DO NOT USE B & B MAID SERVICE!!

They were great-prompt, hard workers, did exactly what the estimate stated even though it took longer than expected.

They were okay. The estimate amount was $351 and it was too much for me. I found another company that charged me only a $100.

We have been very satisfied with the quality of work performed by B & B Maidservice. the staff is very trustworthy and pleasant. the manager called and came by to check the cleaning after the work was completed and wanted to make sure that i was satisfied with the cleaning. I have signed up for the cleaning service.

I WAS FUSTRATED THE FIRST TIME, I TOLD THE OWNER AND HE ASSURED ME THEY WOULD NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKES AGAIN. HE EVEN CAME OVER TO CHECK AFTER THE SECOND TIME, I SHOWED HIM WHAT THEY DID AND DIDN'T DO . HE ASSURED ME AGAIN IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN NEXT TIME SO I LET IT GO BUT I SPENT TO MUCH MONEY TO HAVE THEM BACK AGAIN AND GO THROUGH THE SAME THING !!

When they came for the first time, they did complete cleaning. From then on it is just vacuuming. They come every two weeks. Their quality is very good.

The two ladies arrived on time and stayed about four hour's; they were extremely thorough and the price was not out of line. I have paid more before and gotten a slapdash cleaning job. I plan to have them back on a regular basis to keep things the way they should be kept. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a professional cleaning job.

Everything has been very well done. They are always on time or call me to let me know when they are running late. The house looks and smell fantastic after each cleaning.

I interviewed several companies to clean my house every 2 weeks. Some are very expensive and won't even come out to look at the house. Some are scheduled to come out but didn't show up. B&B was very prompt, very responsive, and gave me a reasonable price. The ladies that clean my house have been on time, professional, and done a good and thorough job.
