B & B Maids Service Inc

Two workers arrived and although they did a nice job of cleaning my home - and the master bath has never looked better - I don't think that they actually did a "deep clean". In fact, I - being taller than either of the workers - noticed tops of chests that weren't dusted. The overall job was okay and I appreciated the fact that, with guests arriving for Memorial Day, I didn't need to clean my home. My concern was that the two women who arrived were contracted by B&B - they were not full-time employees and in talking with them, it became obvious that they actually had a private business, too. Although that may be the way in which housekeeping services are run these days, I question whether their work is truly "guaranteed" by B&B. So, were the services performed by the provider? Perhaps "on behalf of the provider" would be a better way for that to read. And would I use B&B in the future? That's actually a very cautious "maybe" - but I didn't want to put a firm "no" because I like the option of their "green" cleaning for the future.

Overall: The overall service provided was "Good because it was incomplete. They did not perform all of the tasks that I paid for in a "Deep Cleaning". I would rate the tasks that they did perform as "Excellent". Price: If they did not perform the deep cleaning tasks, I would have rather not paid for the deep cleaning. I could find a regular cleaning for much cheaper than this. For this reason, I rated the price as "Fair". If they had performed all of the tasks I paid for, this rating would have been higher. Quality: The bathrooms and bedrooms all looked great. They hit on most of the included General Cleaning services, but they missed several windows and did not wipe down the large appliances (fridge, dishwasher). No big deal, but my main disappointment was that I purchased a "Deep Cleaning" service, and they skipped many of the deep cleaning items. From the deal I purchased: "Deep cleaning services include: cleaning the blinds, base boards, window sills, ceiling fans, and other high dusting" They did not clean any of the base boards and many of the window sills, which certainly needed a cleaning. These two items were my main reason for purchasing this particular deal (base boards in particular), so you can imagine my disappointment. I understand that since the appointment began an hour late, at 4pm, they were probably rushing to get out and go home for the day. Punctuality: The cleaning professionals arrived an hour late for the 3pm appointment, but I received a call ahead of time informing me that they were running over on a previous appointment.

Vacuum and cleaned all floors in my home. Cleaned all restrooms and the entire kitchen.

For some reason this company doesn't clean empty houses which really doesn't make sense because I paid for their time and it probably would be easier to clean than a house full of furniture.

Two ladies arrived within the promised time frame, and got right to work. They were very nice, and worked fast. They were here about 2-2.5 hours. They started in the bedrooms/bathrooms and worked their way to the kitchen. They took out the trash and the recycling as well. Overall, the house looks and smells clean, which is a good thing, and a fair expectation if I had bought the regular $80 cleaning. I might just be picky, but there are some little details that indicate my house did not receive what I would consider to be a "Deep Cleaning", worth $180. I had been told on the phone that a "Deep Clean" included "everything except cleaning out the refrigerator", and that they would even clean the oven. Then when they were here, I had to ask them to clean the oven. I asked them about the windows, and was shocked to learn that windows are not included, even at that price point. They didn't clean the inside window glass or the screen door, just dusted the window sills. They vacuumed, but there is still dust in the carpet by the baseboards, and in the corners of the window sills. In our bedroom, they dusted the headboard of the bed, but not the foot board. There is still a ring around the bathtub drain and the sink drain in one bathroom. In the other, it looks like they just wiped down the sink, and did not actually clean it, as there is still residue in the sink. I have never hired a professional cleaning service before, so I might just be picky. I feel like overall, and especially in the kitchen, they did a good job, but it was more of the typical $80 job, rather than worth $180. I might just be picky, but I think for that much money, it's fair to expect a more thorough job. I would call this company again, but with much looser expectations, and I will definitely never pay that much to have my house cleaned again. Lesson learned!

They showed up on time and performed a deep cleaning of our house. They took a little of 4 hours to complete the job but our house was very clean and looked good after they were done. I was very pleased with the work they performed.

The maids showed up promptly and did a deep clean throughout. It took slightly longer than estimated (a little over 4 hours) but they did a great job.

They were too slow. This happened two months ago. It cost ninety nine dollars for six hours work. They are too young, too slow and too lazy. I don't think they are professional. I give them a 'C' overall. I would not use them again in the future.

They did a pretty good job. Two people came out for the cleaning. They were about 40 minutes late, but I'm in a new neighborhood so it's understandable. I would consider using them again. Overall, I was pretty happy.

It went fairly smooth - there were a couple bumps along the way. Their vacuum was broken so they didn't do the floors upstairs/carpet. There were a couple of cleaning supplies/empty left around along with the broken vacuum. Honestly, regardless of these minor items, the ladies really did a nice job. They didn't mind that I asked them about particular tasks or about having enough time to do the floors downstairs. Basically, they went to work doing their own thing. The house looked great - the bathrooms were done very nicely - they even folded little triangles into the TP. We couldn't of been happier to have their help.

The service turned out fine. I can't think of anything that stood out, they did an adequate job and cleaned the house quickly. They were fine, and they got here on time, and worked diligently. There was some difficulty in understanding one another, but it wasn't bad. They did do what I asked them to do. I did not spend more than the $99 of the big deal. I have already used them again.

Each room was cleaned with detail. Any item removed for cleaning were placed back to its original location.We had a newborn and they were very respective of that.

When I phoned the company about the initial cleaning I was told it would take approx. 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. The day of the cleaning I was called and told they would be late which I didn't understand because I thought I was the first on the list. They arrived at approx. 10:15am. I explained to the two ladies that a special cleaner needed to be used in the shower and I provided the product. I also advised them that the kitchen cabinets would need to wiped with a dry rag instead of a wet one due to the type of wood. I left the condo thinking I would run a quick errand. I returned to the condo 3 hrs later since I had not heard from anyone and they were just finishing up. I was handed a cell phone and was told that they would be charging me for 3 hours, etc. I stated that I wanted to inspect the unit before my credit card was charged. When I went in I was shocked! The cabinets had not been wiped, the freezer had not been cleaned, the inside of the microwave had not been cleaned, the sink was filthy, the baseboards had not been wiped, the floor still had debis on them and there were still cob webs in the corner. This was just the kitchen. The livingroom/dinning room floor had shoe prints and the baseboards had not been cleaned. I went upstairs to the study and found that the light fixture had not been cleaned and in the bedroom and bathroom not all of the baseboards had been wiped. I spoke to the woman that set the appointment and asked her to come out and look at the work the ladies and done. Before she got there one of them started wiping the kitchen cabinets with a wet cloth! Which I had already told them not to do. The same lady said she cleaned the microwave and the freezer and I opened them both to show her they had not been cleaned. The entire time both ladies were speaking in Spanish and of course I had no idea what they were saying. Their manager told them to redo certain areas and to redo the miniblinds as she herself had noticed that they were not cleaned property. After the manager left and the ladies finished cleaning I went around again and had to point out areas that still needed to be cleaned. When I asked about the miniblinds I was told that they didn't need to reclean them even though the manger told me they would be. By the time the ladies left they had been there 5 hours!! I could not believe it. This was a small unit with no furniture and had only be lived in for 18 months. There is no way that it would take anyone let alone 2 people this many hours to do what they were supposed to do. After going back and forth with the manager on what they were going to charge me we finally settled on what I was originally quoted. 2 hours with a 10% discount for being an Angie's List customer. I advised the manger that the ladies did not clean the miniblinds and she advised me that she had told them to redo them. This was my first experience with Angie's List and it was TERRIBLE!!

We have had a very difficult time scheduling this, therefore I am seeking a refund from Angie's List.

The initial appointment was scheduled for 4/21/14. No one showed up or called to reschedule or responded to my e-mails. I then called on 4/22/14 and they apologize for the confusion and came on 4/24/14. I paid for the $99 for 6 hours. When the maids arrived they was like they only have 2 hours. So had to called there office and get clarification. 2 people for 3 hours and 6 hours for 1 person. I decided since time was waisted it was 2 of them to do the 2 maids for 3 hours. I really wanted them to clean my floors in which i specified when they arrived. I left and came back and the work was mediocre so I little dissaponted with it being 2 people for 3 hours at least 1 of them could have vacuum my rugs, and shines my floors. So I am no a satisfied customer at this time.

It went just fine. They did a good job.

I purchased their deal. $99 for 6 labor hours. 2 people showed up at the time they said they would be there. They cleaned my 3/2 2900 sq ft house top to bottom and even got some difficult stains out of the carpet. They were only there for 2 hrs and 20 mins of the scheduled 3 hrs but I really don't know what else they could have cleaned. Everything was spotless and the house smelled wonderfully of lavender. I will definitely use them again in the future.

I have used B & B Maids Service Inc before and really liked their services. They were very professional and thorough.

The cleaning met my expectations. Good service for the price, and I plan to use them on a monthly basis.

They showed up on time and were very pleasant. They did not spend the full two hours at my house and there were a few things that they did not do. They did not unload the dishwasher and they did not clean the refrigerator.

The only downside - the company contact said they would call me back within a couple of days to set up an appointment to give an estimate of cleaning our house on a recurring basis. They never called back.

My suggestion is to read the fine print. The big key is Labor Hours. Advertising 6 hours of cleaning, is not what you might think. 1 person = 6hours, 2 people = 3 hours, 4 people =1.5 hours. It's stated in the fine print, which is my fault for not reading. My wife and I keep a fairly clean house, and bought the big deal on Angieslist to get at the places we might have not cleaned as well. We wanted to provide a list of areas they could focus on. This included windows, baseboards, brick on fireplace....well that was going to cost extra. We needed to buy the deep cleaning package. This started to smell shady, so we canceled and got our refund back. I hope this helps

I was supprised at the detail that was performed,the women even cleaned the light bulbs in my baths,I was having A party the next day and they excelled in every detail,I highly recommend this company, Polite,proffesional and efficient, the ladies didn't stop working the whole time,I commend them on the shower cleaning,it had to be very hard to get the mildew and soap scum off but I tell you that shower looked brand new when they finished,Excellent,Excellent,Excellent!

Busy family, so I needed help to catch up on all my clean (bathroom, kitchen, vaccum & mop floor). THEY DID IT. 3 people in 2H. That should really help. I should be able to keep it up now.
