Excellent movers. Our SF move was about 1700. They were careful, efficient, professional, and enjoyable to deal with on a stressful day. Would definitely call on them again.

Nick, Tyrone, and Garret arrived on time the morning of the move with 3 men and a 26 foot truck. I gave them a tour of the house and what I wanted moved and then they went to work. I particularly noticed how carefully they loaded the truck without banging furniture into anything or otherwise damaging the house or furniture. They were also willing to disassemble and reassemble any furniture that needed to be in order to be moved. They then met me at my new house on the other side of Houston and again carefully unloaded everything and put things exactly where I wanted without banging into walls or scratching the floor. I never had that moment where you wince at how something is being handled. Although they were charging by the hour none of them were moving too slow or otherwise milking the clock. They were all friendly, polite, and willing to listen to any concerns I had. One piece of furniture they moved was of particular note. I was somewhat nervous about moving a very heavy 4x8 glass dining table top. They took my concern seriously and very carefully and deliberately all worked together to make sure that it was never in any jeopardy when loading and unloading it. I still have many friends and family in the area I moved from in Pearland. If any of them ever need moving services then they had better not ask me to help them move for beer and pizza! They should just do what I did and use the professionals at Bay Area Movers instead.

They are good folks. It was 4 guys. They did some packing. We filled the trucks and they could barely close the doors on those trucks. One item got left behind but it was our fault as much as theirs and they went ahead and gave us an allowance to replace it. The price was really competitive. We called two others and they were all right about the same. When I did call about the microwave, they were just very apologetic and made sure they credited it back to my credit card immediately. They were nice and early. They got here a couple of hours earlier than I expected so they were very punctual.

We hired them through the recommendation of a friend. Absolutely loved they service. We got an estimate of the cost of the move, which was spot on. They showed up with 3 or 4 guys and really humped it the whole time. We easily had enough stuff for a large 3 bedroom. They got it all packed in the truck in about 1.5 hours, drove to the new house and they had us unloaded in about 1/2 that time. No problems at all. Nothing broke. The guys were very careful. The thing that impressed me most was the fact that they were going constantly. Nobody was dragging. Everyone was h****** it which is awesome considering they were being paid by the hour. We had no problem with them moving stuff upstairs or putting labeled boxes in the right room. Can't say enough good about them. Will be using them again for sure. Tipped them an extra $100 just because I was so impressed with them.

They were professional and prompt. I would use them again if needed.

They arrived on time and it took most of the day before they were finished and on the way to Tomball. I was packing up some of the small items and had removed a watch case from my safe and it was in the master bathroom. One of the movers called me to the garage to ask a question. When I returned to the master bathroom, I was a bit concerned thatone of the other movers was in there. The watch case contained a $ 2,000 watch, an 18K gold Jerusalem cross that I had purchased while on a church trip to the Holy Land, and my college graduation ring. This box was stolen during the move and never recovered. Additionally, I had a 1916 Marchant calculator that was purchased as an antique in Fort Worth. One of the movers asked what ti was and I explained that I was an accountant and bought the calculator to keep in my office. I also told them that one just like it was selling on e-Bay for $ 2,500. This calulator was stolen during the move and never found with my things in Tomball. I filed a police report with the Deer Park Police Department and also a complaint with TexDot. Both of these were a waste of time. The only thing that the contact at the moving company told me was that he checked with his men and none of them remembered moving these items. I really feel bad about them stealing these items (probably sold them for cash to buy drugs), especially my college graduation ring which I had owned for over 30 years. I hope that no one uses this company and that these movers that stole my things get what they have coming to them, one way or another. I hope to run across them again sometime.

This was Probably one of the easier moves Bay Area had to deal with. We were living in a small apartment, so we did not own much. It was enough, that we needed professional help. The movers were very careful with everything, especially the electronics. Nothing was damaged and the entire move was done in a single trip, with one large truck and three men to do the work. They were extremely well mannered, and helpful. The movers also helped set up in our new house, since they had extra time. They were finished before lunch.

We were rather disappointed with this moving company, because they did not do what they said they would. We thought we had reserved three separate trucks and six movers to do the job. They showed up with only one truck and four movers. We wanted to do this quickly in one trip. It took several trips and a total of twelve hours. Even though nothing was damaged, we would not use them again.

Bay Area Movers returned my call quickly and came around to give an estimate. Their prices were very good, and they explained how they count the pieces and guarantee no damage. The job was scheduled as soon as a moving date was set and the movers were on time. They packed, wrapped, loaded the furniture, and transported it to my current residence. They unloaded the furniture, put it in place, brought in all the boxes and other belongings, and placed them in the designated rooms. Nothing was damaged, scratched or dented, and they did an excellent job.

I called Bay Area Movers, and they told me to make a list of all my household goods and furniture so they could give me an estimate. I called them back and I read everything off to them, and they were able to give me a price. The moving date was scheduled as soon as everything was wrapped and packed, and the movers were on time. They loaded all the furniture, appliances, and boxes with other household goods and transported it to my current residence. They unloaded the furniture, set it in place, brought in the boxes, distributed them where I requested, and rolled in the appliances and set them up too. The movers were a little rough around the edges, but they did not scratch, dent or damage a thing. They did an excellent job.
