Description of Work: After they finished with the job they broke a drain line at both ends of the drain from the washer to the main pipe. Would not fix it and it cost me $3500 to do the repair.

Description of Work: They installed 9 piles to level my garage. I was surprised at how well they did cleaning up after the work was done. My only complaint was they did not initially bring the pressure washer to drive the piles so they had to wait for it. The inspector was very professional and did not try to recommend work that I did not need done.

Description of Work: Installed a root barrier on the side of the house. Instead of hand digging, they used a machine to dig the trench for the barrier. I called the company prior to the installation because I was concerned about my water line that ran in the path of where they were going to dig. I was assured that the area near the water line would be dug by hand. However, it didn't turn out to be the case. They dug the entire trench by machine and cut my water line even after I told them where it was. They did fix the water line. Even though they covered my air conditioner, there was dirt/mud on my windows and the side of my house because dirt was flying everywhere.

Description of Work: I went to Honesty Foundation. Price good and they came back out and corrected the problem.

Description of Work: Representatives were very professional throughout the home visit. Spent a couple of hours making measurements and sketches. Prescribed a (costly) service to address my foundation issues and answered my questions about it. They left sales information, a copy of the proposal, and a copy of the hand-drawn sketch showing the measurements. They promised to send me me an updated drawing after they got back in the office. (That never came.) | |I next hired an experienced professional engineer to get an independent assessment. His measurements were similar to those of Du-West, but his solution was quite different. He advised that the tunneling and piers proposed by Du-West were not needed, that the problems was caused by nearby trees, and dealing with the trees would allow remediation to occur naturally with no further intervention required. | |A few weeks after the initial Du-West visit, I got a follow-up call from Du-West. I told them that we had decided to follow the recommendation of the engineer (at a fraction of the cost) rather than performing foundation work. Du-west then offered to install a foundation watering system. The engineer, however had already advised that such was of little value to homes such as ours with builder's piers around the perimeter. | |I have no reason to doubt the competency of Du-West to provide the services that they sell. Unfortunately selling their services turned out to be a higher priority than in finding cost-effective ways to meet my needs. So I had no work done by Du-West.

Description of Work: Measured the entire house, determined which parts of our slab foundation had fallen, which parts to lift, and how. Tunneling was required for safety of plumbing, and the entire operation was incredibly complex and extensive. All work was done efficiently by excellent crews, great care was taken with our existing wood deck, dirt removed was covered and replaced on completion, as were shrubs affected. While total cost might seem on the high side, the work was expert, and the warranty is life-time and transferable. Very happy with the results.

Description of Work: Lots of tunneling under the slab, hence the high cost, but it seemed like a lot to me. I felt they did a good job, but I suppose time will tell. I dinged them a bit on quality because they piled dirt in large areas of my yard - I had no warning about this in advance. It killed so much grass that it cost me over $1000 to have new sod put down. I would use them again, but they really should work out something better regarding the temporary storage of the dirt - and warn the homeowner!

Description of Work: Had used Du-West in the past satisfactorily, so I called them again. The estimator was very professional and competent, but the price was considerably higher than the others, and they could not begin the work for over three months, so I selected Dawson Foundation Repair, who could start sooner, and was $2,000 less expensive.

Description of Work: Du-West Foundation Repair fixed the foundation to my house. They put eight piers underneath it to raise and level the house.

Description of Work: DU-WEST CAME TO THE HOUSE AND INSTALLED SEVERAL PILES TO HELP LEVEL AN AREA OF THE HOUSE THAT A LARGE TREE HAD DAMAGED.
