It went fine. Everything was checked and inspected and the logs removed, cleaned and then replaced. They added embers at the end and then lit the fire to make sure all was in good operating condition.

I had a squirrel in my chimney. He showed up and gave me some advice. He came out and said he could not get to the squirrel. He explained where the squirrel was. He was not able to do anything, but he was professional.

I needed the damper on my fireplace cleaned. He said he would do that and clean all the logs, and it would cost another $100. He did a good job except that he didn't put enough rocks down to cover the bottom of my fireplace. I asked him about it, and he said more rocks would cost additional money.

No problems, did a good job, in and out fairly quickly.

Once we agreed on a date, Jack came out and arrived at the time he said he would be there which was no mean feat because we're an almost 2 hour drive from his place of business. He listened to our description of the noises we were hearing and after a walk around identified the probable entry point on our roof. He demonstrated what he wanted to do and then made the repairs. He took the time to discuss various other approaches to keeping critters away. Overall it was a very positive experience.

I called Wolfman Chimney and left a message. Jack quickly returned my call. An animal had managed to go down my chimney through the cap. Jack gave me options to prevent that problem from happening again. He was very honest and helpful. He got me an appointment during the busy holiday weekend. He also did a chimney sweep and inspection so that I could have peace of mind when I use my fireplace. Jack was punctual, professional and thorough. He also answered questions and offered tips. I will definitely call him again in the future for chimney issues and next time to clean the dryer vent.

I was so pleased with their work and friendliness. I haven't used my gas logs in a number of years as I didn't feel safe lighting it. They took everything out, cleaned it, and replaced it. They then showed me the correct and safe way to use my fireplace. I'm THRILLED to once again have the peace of mind that my fireplace is working properly.

We bought the house in April of 2014 and weren't sure if the chimney had ever been used before. It looked spotless but we wanted to be sure and hired Wolfman to come out and inspect. His special offer was just too good to pass up. When he came out to inspect the chimney, he told my wife the fireplace had never been used before. He felt bad about us having already pre-paid for the service so he gave us a credit. He gave us a credit and will be back out in the Spring to inspect the chimney after we use it this winter. What an awesome company! Needless to say - we will be using Wolfman from here on out! He is our chimney guy!

He arrived on time and identified himself and was very courteous & professional. He explained he would be bringing in some equipment and proceeded to prepare the area by putting down a drop cloth. He used a machine to suction out the fireplace and used two long large brushes on handles to manually clean the chimney. Everything went well and there was no debris either in the air or the area during and after he completed the cleaning. A good price for quality work. We are using the fireplace now. Doug & Cassandra

Jack came out right on time and went right to work. Our gas kit is 9 years old and was pretty worn out. He suggested a couple of nice ideas to spruce up our fireplace. I had never been happy with the noisy pilot light on our remote control gas kit. He suggested going back to manual lighting to save on gas and have a quieter fire. He did a thorough cleaning job on the fireplace and we arranged for him to return in order to install some fresh gas logs. Jack is a great guy and a hard worker. He completely cleaned up the work area and hearth. The fireplace looks brand new! I highly recommend Wolfman Chimney to anyone needing cleaning and/or installation. You can't go wrong!

He told me he couldn't come for 4 weeks unless I paid him extra. That's not right. I wish I could rate him a "Z"!

I complained about this company for not showing up for their appointment but it was my error I looked at the wrong date. They came today and did an outstanding job. Please remove the F as you had promised when I called and replace it with an A

We purchased the home 11 months ago, just in time for a VERY cold winter. With heat pumps for our heating source, they couldn't keep the house at least comfortable with the abnormally high, extremely cold north winds. We used the fireplace nearly every day for months. In October, we had another round of very high winds, and I noticed a large pile of black debris falling from the closed flue. We figured it needed cleaning before this winter, and called Wolfman based on Angie's List reviews. He arrived on time with his equipment and a very large canvas to catch the dirt from the chimney. He ran the brush up and down several times, and explained the buildup was most likely several years-worth, and definitely close to being a fire hazard. He then got on the roof and checked the chimney cap, informing us it had been attached incorrectly - the nails had been put in through the TOP of the metal rather than on the side, which could lead to water leakage. If we monitor it regularly, that will let us make repairs when and if they're necessary. Service was quick and efficient. The tech left no mess anywhere and was done in less than an hour. I would highly recommend them for chimney service!

The whole procedure from start to finish was excellent. Not only did he correct a serious and potentially dangerous hazard that we did not realize we had, but he took the time to get a proper cap and install it and still do the cleaning in the time he had allotted. We really appreciated that. He not only is very professional when he gets to work, but his attitude and disposition are very make him a pleasure to do business with. We were totally pleased with the service he provided and were doubly glad that he corrected a problem that could have resulted in a pretty dire situation. And, as he departed, we got a handful of business cards to pass to our friends and neighbors. Kudos to Jack and Wolfman Chimney Critter...

I was expecting an inspection of the chimney also. Maybe it was just not everything I thought this deal was.

I used the coupon for doing a rodent inspection. Jack coordinated the time, he came out and inspected my attic. He found evidence of where they were getting in. He then explained several ways to make sure they stay out, gave me an option as to various methods for keeping them out. We set a time for him to come out. Since this was a short lead time (I needed it done to sell the house), Jack worked with me to come out on a Sunday (thank you for doing that) and closed off the entries. Great job and I would use him again. He was timely and a professional throughout the whole engagement.

Very clean operation, tidy clean up, professional, prompt and unpretentious. Did not attempt to sell any other unnecssary services which was most appreciated.

Jack brought two helpers with him and all three stayed busy for a couple of hours. Jack was very professional and said to let him know if we heard any scratching in the attic which would have been a sign that an animal had been caught inside when the entry/exit holes were sealed. I we heard such noises, Jack would come back and remove the animal. Fortunately we did not. Thusfar there have been no signs that rodents had reentered our attic.
