I got my cabinets done with another company; I had a lot of problems with them never coming and communication never being on point. One of my cousins recommended me to them and they fixed my problems and their totally understandable with great communication. My cabinets look amazing, their prices are amazing! Great quality!

They did my kitchen cabinets for me and my aunt, never late in their work, Ive had them for 2 years now and their like the first day. Never had trouble with them coming in time. Any time i need something or someone needs a recommendation i go straight to them, they never fail me highly recommend them.

This is exceptionally custom done cabinets and counters tops (Quartz). We paid up 1/2 up front half upon completion. They communicated well, and adjusted to our needs.

This is one of the best experiences we've ever had hiring a contractor. Mr. Alvarez is meticulous, and makes sure all of his crew and subs are just as detail oriented. He listened to what we wanted and even built a custom Pantry that doubles as an AC return chase, getting the return off our floor and hidden under the cabinet. All of his employees are reliable and on time, they do what they say, and show up when they promise. His counter top and tile people are top notch, and the cabinets he built are completely custom and of great quality! They gutted my old kitchen and had everything completed in two weeks...we are still amazed! Wish I could post some pictures, what they gave me was absolutely gorgeous!!

Beautiful custom cabinets! My cabinets were exactly what I envisioned. Mr Alvarez was very professional and precise. Everything was done exactly like I wanted, even better than I requested! Delivered and installed on exact date quoted. They value was terrific, I actually saved money getting custom wood cabinets over prefab cabinets at a local home improvement store. Very grateful!

We hired Alverez Cabinets to reface all our kitchen cabinets and a builtin bookcase with cabinet.  Their work is beyond what we expected.  They did exceptional work with an absolutely beautiful result.  Even though we do not speak Spanish, we did not find this to be a problem.  This is a family company and the wife and son both speak English and did a great job.  We could not be happier.  We have hired them again to do a fireplace mantel.  We highly recommend them.  If you are concerned about the language difference, just be sure to ask lots of questions until you feel comfortable.  If you need them to clean something or do it differently, you just have to ask.  They are very courteous and work hard to please you.  They were very reasonable with their price and did the job in the time frame they said from the beginning.

Hired Alvarez to remove and install new kitchen cabinets. The project included removing two walls and patching ceiling. Everything went well with the exception of the painting. I specifically asked them to prime the cabinets. and apply two coats of paint sanding in between each coat. The painting of the cabinets was poor. Instead of uniform color they turned out blotchy. Showed cabinet door to paint store and they said it was because of poor priming. Very disappointing particularly sense i agreed to pay them an extra $900.00 to paint them the way I wanted . Will need to hire someone to repaint the cabinets. Also said they would apply two coats of paint to walls and ceiling. Only applied one coat.

When they painted the cabinets they got over spray on everything, appliances, floors, mirrors. There are drips in the paint. They have absolutely no attention tho detail. I am having to repaint much of what they did. I will have to paint my kitchen ceiling because of the over spray.

Mr. Alvarez is the best in the Rio Grande Valley and maybe in the state of Texas. His attention to detail is second to none.
