Got the job done

He was professional in completing the project.

In my opinion, Manny is a personable con artist. He does as little as possible for the money he charges, lies about the work, makes a mess and does not stand behind his work. I asked him to given me a written list of all items he agreed to fix. He kept promising to send one to me, making excuses. I wasn?t too worried about it since Angi?s score on him was so good with no bad reports in the last few yrs. I was in a hurry to get the work done. So I let him slide on the invoice until Manny & I started arguing about the scope of the work he had agreed to and had not completed. In the meantime, Manny had talked me into letting him refinish the wood floors upstairs and then fix and paint some of the upstairs Sheetrock. He said he was going to sand the floors and then have them stained. I?m old & have some mobility issues with climbing stairs which Manny knew about. Supposedly 1 of Mannys crew was taking care of sanding. I climbed them after the floor man came and stained it ?But he had NOT sanded them because manny told him to buff them ONLY- not sand them. Part of the work was upstairs. He & his helper went upstairs to do the work on several occasions. He told me he had completed the work ? he lied. He hadn?t even come close - in one area, he didn?t even bother to close up the dry wall on a 4x5 inch hole. Almost nothing was fixed or caulked upstairs. Only found that out after I had a friend go up and look. He was supposed to texturize some areas downstairs, caulk & paint. One of my other Spanish-speaking workers asked the main Manny left to finish the job why he was not caulking anything he was painting. He said Manny had told him ?NOT? to caulk it ? just paint it fast. Manny made a mess getting texturizing material on walls that didn?t need it and ruining the paint job on areas that didn?t need repainting. so that it had to be repainted. Then did a lousy job on the edges because he didn?t use painters tape.

If you want great quality work done at a reasonable price use Manny. He and his partner repaired our drywall and walls after a water leak. We also had him fix our gas fireplace. Heâ s knowledgeable and very professional. He charges by the job and will give you an estimate before starting the work. He charges by the job, cleans up after his work and is a pleasure to work with. He offers lots of services. I highly recommend you give him a try.

What a fantastic experience. Manny was so knowledgeable and really helped me decide how to prioritize the work needed to be done in my home. He was able to work within my budget, offer great advice on how to proceed and help me not only in drywall repair but so many other services. However my favorite part in working with Manny is his positive attitude and customer service. He really went above and beyond and I plan to continue using his services for many years to come.
