Jimmy replied promptly to initial email enquiry, we talked through the problem and potential causes by phone - Jimmy provided a fast estimate and visit time. On appointment day Jimmy called in advance to advise ETA, arrived just ahead of time and worked fast and diligently with his colleague Armando, fixing the problem for a total final cost lower than the original estimate AND recommend options to prevent a recurrence of the original problem. Excellent service and I would recommend B&H to anyone experiencing electrical issues.

Jimmy answered the phone promptly and had time to come the same day. He and his assistant were very professional and polite and took care not to make a mess in the room where he was working in the ceiling. He took down non-working recessed fixture (high ceiling) and tested the switch, fixture, and bulb to figure out why it wasn't working. Once diagnosed (bad transformer), I ordered a new part online and it arrived a few days later and was easy to re-install. Very happy with prompt service - would definitely call again.

Service was great and very reasonable. Jimmy and Armando came out a tad late but they got right to work repairing a GFI plug that had burned out, installing 2 ceiling fans and securing a couple of fans that were really loose. They were efficient, quiet, neat and respectful of my property. I will use them in the future for all of my electrical needs. Thanks B & H!

Our client was very happy with the work. Originally, there was only 2 ceiling fans to be replaced, but the client added a third one at the last minute. B&H managed to complete everything without delay and that included assembling all three fans before installing them! This electrical company was very reasonably priced and worked efficiently.

I found B&H Electric through Angies List and overall ratings were excellent so I made first contact through the website that sends an email to the vendor and after a few days I had not heard back from B&H. Then I remembered reading one comment where the Angie's List member gave a rating of "F" because the company never responded to their emails. Before passing judgment I went to the Help section on Angie's List and researched issues of non response by vendors to emails. Angie's List response was to not pass judgment since there could be technical issues or lack of staff for the vendor but rather call them direct. So I did. I got an immediate response from B&H. Within two days of that phone call B&H were able to come to my home. B&H were on time and very professional. I explained the problem we were having with GFCI outlets tripping in the garage and in the bathrooms. (This problem has been around since we moved into the house January 2013 but has steadily gotten worse over time.) B&H's recommendation was to change the GFCI configuration for the three bathrooms whereby each room had their own GFCI/reset feature (previously, one bathroom carried the load for all three bathrooms, which isn't efficient). And, in the garage, there were two GFCI outlets that conflicted with each other so one was removed. I also got advice on how far apart outlets should be in our hallway and B&H gave a recommendation where one should go. I was very pleased with the service and the fact that B&H explained everything to me.

They called before they came, were on time and professional. They did all the work in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. I will hire them again!

Based on the reviews on Angie's list, we decided to call B&H for an estimate. Jimmy came out the same day and gave us an estimate. My husband was very impressed with the time Jimmy took to figure out the easiest way to installed the fan. That evening we went and purchased the fan, and the next day two electricians came to do the work. The electrician who worked inside, did a great job of minimizing the mess by asking for a sheet/drop cloth to cover the area, and when the work was completed, he vacuumed. The outdoor worker also left the area clean of mess. They worked quickly, and were only here about two hours. Very pleased,and would definitely use this company again.

I was pleased and very impressed that he didn't want to install the recessed lights (they had brought them for this service call). I will definetly call on B&H in the very near future to have other work done that we discussed.

Team arrived on time and ready to work. Supervisor (Jim) reviewed our requirements and oversaw the start of the job. Asked about the outside light, he checked it out and said no problem. Jim left the crew to work - and they did. Job completed without issue. Quick review of transfer box, DVD and manual left for further info. Work done in timely manner, site left clean. Professional team. Would call for next job.

A few cosmetic problems. Triple light switch cover was marred and a light switch was beige instead of white. They remedies when I pointed it out. The price was exactly what they said it would be.

They were prompt, thorough, efficient, professional, and friendly. They gave me the Angie's list discount even though I hadn't printed the coupon.

While I can't comment on Jimmy's work, I can say that he was very easy to deal with, professional, on time, and I was impressed with his willingness to come to our house that day.

Simple job - but no problems.

I called B & H Electric in the AM for an estimate on some electrical work I was considering. They came that morning, since they were in our neighborhood. They looked at the project I wanted an estimate for and before they left, I explained I had an under-cabinet fixture that was constantly burning out bulbs. They took the fixture apart, rewired and it works perfectly. As they were leaving, I asked them how much I owed, and they said "no charge". I know it didn't take more than 15 minutes of their time, but this is definitely not the norm with most service companies. They are very honest and I will definitely call them in the future for any electrical needs.

Service went very well, Brady showed up within about 10 minutes of the time I got the return call on the appointment time. It took him about 30 minutes to complete the task since he had to come up with a method to hold the switch in place since the opening in the jamb did not have enough wood to hold the screws. Brady solved the problem and completed the task. My only concern is that I am not sure I got the Angie's List discount but I was satisfied with the overall price. Contrary to the service providers response, I wrote a check for $95, the $6 is not significant, but truth in quoting prices is. Was the $6 for the switch (parts)?
