American Sprinkler Repair

Overall it went great. The technician who was also the owner of the company was extremely friendly. He definitely had my best interests in mind. He found a cheaper way to accomplish what I wanted in regards to coverage of my lawn and bushes. Originally I wanted to install several new sprinkler heads but instead he swapped several of them out for ones that sprayed a further distance. In the end it ended up being both a better and cheaper solution.

Mark arrived timely, tested the system, and professionally addressed each problem I was having with the system. He verified the sprinkler settings and operation before leaving. American Sprinkler was excellent in all regards, and the people at American Sprinkler are very helpful and pleasant to work with. I will absolutely use them again if any problems develop with the sprinkler system in the future.

Overall, they had a professional feel and went out of there way to provide additional knowledge on watering practices and program setup.

The workmen were prompt, courteous, and good about explaining what they were doing and how to use the system. They checked it out to make sure it worked. The only problem I had was that the Hunter system book did not come with a printed warranty in the book like they thought it did. The installer called his boss, however, and wrote the one year warranty on the receipt. They did a good job.

I have worked with a number of irrigation companies in my 12 years here in North Texas and American Sprinkler Repair is the best. Mark ( Owner ) came out to the house and made repairs that were made by a previous sprinkler company. The job was done professionally, with no gimmicks and priced very fair. I will use American from now on for any repair and or new project.

On the day of the appointment, the technician stepped out of the truck and immediately told me it was not the sprinkler system. It took him about 1 min to look and tell me that. So, I said OK then I have to call for a plumber. The technician proceeded to call up Cindy to report the situation. She insisted that I needed to pay $99.50 for 1 hour of charge. I questioned her why I need to pay that amount as she was the one who was so confident of fixing the leak. She told me she could not be right all the time. She then gave me some sob story that the crew came from somewhere to my house, needed to return to base in Lewisville and needed to pay them. I told her it was not my fault as I had previously fully explained the situation to her. She then tried to justify the time by asking the crew to do a sprinkler system check which I already had done last year. I suggested paying half of the requested amount for no work being done, Cindy still wanted the full amount. Reluctantly, I let the technician do the checks. It was a ploy to make more money, the technician flagged couple of sprinkler heads that were replaced last year and told me they were bad and he can change them at additional costs, I told him no. Then without asking me, the technician changed out some of the sprinkler tips as according to him were firing too much. That was what I paid a contractor to replace last year to irrigate some bald spots. I told him I am not going to pay for what he did, he then removed them. It was overall a very bad experience. The only reason I call them was I saw good ratings on them in Angie's list.

This company is the BEST. I have worked with them on three different occasions through my home warranty program. I liked them so much that I called them directly on my last repair, instead of going through my home warranty. The team that works there is very knowledgeable and can identify and fix problems quickly. On my most recent repair, Robert came out and rerouted water back to two sprinkler heads that were not working. After troubleshooting, he determined that the previous owner disconnected the the pipe. He dug a trench and rerouted the water to get them working again. Once that was done, he discovered that another pipe further along the chain was leaking. He dug that up and repaired. Robert was very patient, despite all of the issues that arose from my system. He was polite and didn't mind me standing over his shoulder while he was doing the job. I would highly recommend this company for any sprinkler service that is needed as they know how to do it right the first time, can work through any issues that arise without giving up and they do it with a smile.

Our irrigation system had not worked at all for 2 years . American had it up and running in less than 2 hours. They made sure every head was watering correctly. The technician kept me informed on every step of the process. The invoice was itemized and detailed. I was thrilled with the job from start to finish. Irrigation work is expensive and charged by the hour so its beneficial to have efficient skilled technicians and American delivered.

Mark came out to adjust and fix our 5 zone sprinkler system, he did a great job and made sure any mess he maid was cleaned up to better than it was before! Mark and American Sprinkler Repair will now be coming out when we have a sprinkler issue!

This company is awesome and would highly recommend them. The guys called when they were on their way and showed up right on time. They were extremly professional and did a complete evaluation of my system. They raised some sprinklers (now my windows aren't getting washed every time I run my sprinklers), replaced several heads (no more gysers) and fixed my pot sprinklers etc. all in 1 1/2 hours. At first when they started to dig stuff up, I was thinking that wow....I should ask them what this is going to cost and if I had I'm sure that they would have, I didn' t really matter as they had to be fixed. I was delighted when they presented me with the invoice for the parts and their service. A total of $257.41 including tax and labor. I would have wasted more then that going to Home Depot and trying to figure out how to fix all of my issue myself. Great company and will be calling them again if I need any sprinker work

Mark Lowe & his helper came on time & was here about 70 minutes. He determined that my existing control box was working properly so he didn't try to sell me a new one. He viewed the operation of all sprinkler heads, adjusted some and replaced others at my request. Then he rewired all zones in a 'logical' sequence, where they weren't before. Then he answered all questions & addressed all concerns before he left.

Excellent, reasonably priced repair. Highly recommended!

They came out on time and called 30 min prior to arriving. Very professional and friendly. After fixing my sprinkler heads, he went through my zones with me and made recommendations. Definitely a keeper!

This was the best sprinkler repair company ever. They arrived on time, fixed the sprinkler head and were gone in 30 mins. Their truck was neat and orderly-so the could actually find parts. The last people I had were a disorganized mess. These people are 5 stars--about the best you will find!

They answered my first call, showed up when promised a short time later and worked hard to find the problem. They were very good at showing me their findings and advising me as to my options moving forward. Their hourly labor rate was especially reasonable considering I was getting two qualified workers who completed a significant repair is short order. I'm very pleased with everything about their performance.

Short story everything was fixed; a second crew came by to help troubleshoot some nasty wiring problems.

Water leak was discovered at one of the system control valves while mowing the yard. One of the feed pipes to the valve was leaking at a joint. While testing the sprinkler system for the leak, a broken sprinkler head was discovered. Called the provider who dispatched a truck to the scene the same day. After digging up the area surrounding the control valves, the technician then replaced all of the joints (6) feeding the control valves and tested the joints for leaks. Provider then replaced a sprinkler head that was found to be broken during my initial testing of the system. Provider completed all repairs in an efficient, cheerful manner.

All work has been completed fast and well. I had no problem with both jobs. All went smoothly.

We had not had the sprinkler system service in 14 years and were having problems with coverage. They arrived on schedule and immediately began assessing the situation and adjusting spray heads. replacing broken heads and pipes. Located a buried valve that had not access and added access cover. The next day we discovered a sprinkler that had been repaired leaking. They promptly returned and found that the pipe had been punctured by a stake in the garden. They replaced the pipe and did not charge us for the return trip even though it was not their fault. Our sprinkler system has never worked better and I will be contacting them to do a spring tune up every year from now on. Awesome job and great customer service.

Called and got an appointment. They showed up on time, knew what they were doing and quickly fixed the isuue.

American Sprinkler Repair came out the day I called, performed the work in about 30 minutes and charged a reasonable price. I've had this same work performed in the past by another company and they were MUCHslower and charged 2 to 3 times as much. I definitely recommend calling American Sprinkler Repair.

The person who came out was punctual and professional, but said that he would not be able to fix the issue himself. The valve that is not coming on is directly under a tree. He said that it would need more people. He did fix some other issues while he was here. He said fixing it could run as much as 1200.00. A person called from the company later, they were kind of rude and told me that they had scheduled a team for all day the upcoming Friday to work on the valve. I asked if we could get some clarification of what it would cost, and she said it "will cost what it costs. We have a team of people scheduled for the whole day at 125 an hour." I told her no thanks.

I think the work done by American Sprinkler Repair was overall okay, nothing that stands out about them. They seemed to be within the price range. About 90% of the Angie’s List recommended people are higher than most others. I would use them again in the future if needed.
