The grout on my ceramic tile floor was brown instead of light green after many years of abuse by children and dogs (one very old dog with incontinence). Many times I had been on my hands and knees scrubbing this grout line by line, but never quite able to get all the stains out. Now it looks like a brand new floor and is completely clean. I am so thankful to have found this affordable service. No more hands and knees for me.

We now have a mirror-shinny floor, this is the result of the job that David did, my wife loves her like-new floor. David was punctual and has a great customer demeanor. First thing he did was to walk off the job site and gives us a firm price and estimated time for completion (both of which he hit on the mark). He took great pains to prepare the job site(s) so the carpet, doors, or other floor edges, would not be compromised in any way. I could see he is very process oriented and takes a measured amount of time with every step. He brought all the specialized materials and tools needed to get the job done. As we discussed the polishing business, it became apparent that although David may be relatively new to Angie's List, he has many more years of experience and satisfied customers.

David arrived on time with his self contained trailer. He reviewed the work areas and the plan. Treated all the tile and grout with cleaning solutions and allowed these to work for 15 minutes, used a high pressure wand/vacuum system to extract the dirt. On several tougher areas came in with an acid wash and brush to get more dirt out. When David was finished the tile and grout looked like it had just been installed. This was the second time he has come to my house (did my Master bath a few months ago) and the tile and grout in both cases have looked great when he was finished. David is also a very friendly, personable guy and that is always a plus. He really seems to know his business and that is shown in his results.

I called David Gilder to get a quote on steam cleaning all the grout on the floors. The house is 20 yrs old and I doubt the grout had ever been professionally cleaned. David arrived on time and it took 2 days for him to complete the job. He worked alone, and moved all the furniture (with the help of my son). I have a large home, and he spent a great deal of time making sure everything was prepared before he began working. He explained everything as he was doing the job. He was courteous and very neat. I left him alone the second day while I ran errands, I felt that comfortable with him. When he finished the first day, he cleaned up after himself. As each part of the job was complete, he called me in to make sure I was happy with the results. I will use him again!
