Tom, the owner, provided prompt estimates on replacing my shower floor and repairing damaged hardwood flooring in my kitchen. The hardwood repair man was very careful, clean and meticulous. He continually cleaned up the sawdust as the boards were removed and was careful with the surrounding cabinets and installing the new boards. Ten boards were replaced versus six in the original estimate. I notified KT&M of the additional work, but they stated that the estimate of $350 would cover the work. My shower floor had a wet spots on the grout that was very slow to dry. Tom provided an estimate to replace the floor, but suggested that before replacing the shower floor I may want let the floor dry complete and then try to resealing. I have resealed the shower and so far the wet spots have not recurred. However, should the wet tile problem recur, I will definitely call KT&M to perform the repair. All of their employees are courteous, knowledgeable and conscientious.

They did tiles on floors on the bathroom. It was a positive experience working with them. We just finished the project with them. So far the quality of the work is good. They did the job in a timely manner and it appears to be a good quality work.

Overall, the best contractor we've hired in 14 years of remodeling. We had removed the old tile and countertop ourselves, installed the concrete board in the shower/tub surround, then contacted Katy Tile & Marble regarding installing new tile, new countertop, and replacing several damaged floor tiles. Tom arrived promptly for the initial estimate and was very helpful in advising that additional concrete board was needed on one wall before the new tile could be installed. He was also very helpful, along with other members of his team, in designing the tile layout. The workers all arrived promptly and the tile installers and countertop installers coordinated their work in a very organized manner. There were a couple of issues which were promptly addressed. The first issue was with the tile in and around the soap/shampoo niches. Tom and the installers came back to our house, we all discussed the issue, and reached a solution which resulted in the installers removing several tiles, making modified cuts in new tile, and replacing the tiles at issue. The second problem was with the color of the grout used in replacing several of the damaged floor tiles. The initial grout was the color I specified after reviewing the original floor tile installers specs. Once the tiles were replaced, it was obvious the color was several shades darker than the rest of the floor tile grout so we picked out the closest match from grout samples and the installers arrived the next day to redo the floor tile replacement using the correct color grout, all at no additional charge. Additionally, the countertop in another bathroom was poorly caulked when that bathroom had been remodeled a couple of years earlier. Tom had his countertop crew remove the existing caulk and properly recaulk that countertop, at no additional charge. The entire job turned out beautifully and I would definitely use Katy Tile & Marble again.

They arrived on Monday, removed all of the tile, shower pan, discovered old drain piping to the tub needed to be modified. They had to remove the tub completely to fix drain. That also required removing old tub bottom support, builder had used wall board plaster. They replace it with concrete. They also replace the tub faucets and water spout on Monday.Tuesday they installed a Schluter-KERDI-SHOWER-KIT. The integrated Schluter-Shower System eliminates the potential for leakage, efflorescence, and mold growth in the system, is maintenance-free, and dramatically reduces total installation time. That needed to dry before the tile could be installed. Wednesday took all day to install the tile. Thursday the grouting was done. No work done on Friday. The next Monday the plumber returned and installed the shower head and faucets. Price was good and work in the house was excellent. The only issue I had was the work they had to do outside the house, cutting tile and mixing concrete and grout was a bit sloppy.

Job went well, taking 2 days to complete installation. Contractor's contact (Tom) was prompt for intial visit and provided estimate in timely fashion. Tom also made a follow-up visit to start the job (and insure instructions were accurately communicated to workmen). Quality of work was very good with no visible defects. Contractor did a very good job cleaning the job site during and after installation. I would use this contractor again.

They were prompt about coming out and they gave a pretty good quote.

Very well. Tom was great, gave us an estimate and that was exactly what we paid. He helped with the colors so we had a good match. Crews were professional and clean, and didn't make any undue mess. Very responsive to our timing requests as well as follow-up to correct a defect immediately. Definitely would use again if needed.

I was very happy with their services. They were great, timely and they cleaned up well. They were also cost effective. It was a great job on all different levels.

Tom, the owner, was on top of things. We are pickier than most and usually have addtional requests on jobs. Tom was willing to listen to our requests and found ways to get the job done. The stone did not turn out exactly as we had hoped, and some of this was caused by our expectations being a little high. Tom dropped by often to lets us work out the small issues and in the end we are very happy with the whole job. Both the tile and hardwood went in without issue. All of the employees were on time and pleasant to work with. They left my home with little evidence that they had been there. Give them a call.

Both jobs went well. They came on time and the work was completed on schedule. The owners dropped in and called to see how things were going.

We were very pleased with the quality of the product and of the work performed. The workers cleaned-up after themselves and finished the work ahead of schedule. I can highly recommend them.

Katy Tile answered my call quickly and followed up readily with estimates and installation. They were very reasonable with their prices, and were able to explain the specific grades of tile, including the benefits and guarantee. The installation was scheduled as soon as the materials became available, and the installers were on time. They installed tile in the kitchen, half bath, and full bath and around the tub. They also installed it from the floor to the ceiling in the shower, and replaced the shower. It looks really good except for one guy's finger prints are embedded in my tub.
