On November 8th, 30 days after ordering the carpet, we were called by Jack's Carpet and told that the carpet wasn't in stock. I asked if it would be in stock next week and the answer was literally "Who knows. You can call next week on Thursday to find out if it is on the Friday truck or not." Not very helpful, especially after having 30 full days notice and being assured by salesman #1, who was no longer with the company now, that the product would be available.
We called the store (which is when we found out salesman #1 was no longer at the store) and were handed off to salesman #2. This gentleman told us no one in the store can issue refunds; paperwork had to be filled out with corporate. He assured us he would do so that evening. I asked for a phone call confirmation from corporate the next day, and he assured me he would make a note of that on the paperwork.
The next day, no call came from corporate, so I called corporate to confirm receipt after lunch. They had no paperwork and no knowledge about any refund request for my invoice. The person who handles refunds was "out of the office" for the day. A polite person took my information and assured me she would handle the paperwork for us this afternoon and hand it off. She did call back several hours later and confirmed the paperwork was now filed.
Another week went buy and no refund was issued on our credit card. I called back to corporate again and a gentleman confirmed that paperwork was filed, but no refunds can be issued without the owner's signature. Event though it had already been a full week, he couldn't provide a definitive date on when the owner would sign off on the refund. "Maybe next week" was the response we were told.
Now, it has been nearly 2 weeks since we were told they didn't have our carpet, and we STILL don't have a refund, and visa is making us do the paperwork shuffle to "help us resolve the dispute with the merchant." It seems pretty black and white to me- they never installed the carpet we ordered and paid for all the way back on October 9th, 2012!

The salesman was great, very helpful and responsive in providing assistance and information on choices and the estimate. Carpet installation was well done.
Unfortunately, as the installers were leaving one of them tried to walk off with my hat. He did not know I was there and played it off as soon as he saw me. Obviously, just a hat, but I was glad the house was empty of our stuff as we had not moved in yet. I called and reported it to the installation department, figuring they would want to know. They promised to investigate and call me back. Have not heard back 3 days later. Overall, a good lesson in not trusting people in your house.

This is my third carpet in 30 years; however, it is the first time I have been totally satisfied with the results. Jack's Carpet even made a throw rug out of a leftover piece; adding a professional looking seem around the outside. My wife loves it. We get many compliments on our new carpet; not so much before.

Customer service waited on us quickly, followed up with an estimate for carpet and tile. Their prices were very reasonable and they explained the different qualities of carpet and tile, warranties and showed us samples. The installation was scheduled as soon as the carpet and tile was available, and the installers were right on time. The carpet crew did an excellent job, did the job quickly and cleaned up all the remnants, but the tile crew tied up my kitchen for several days and it was not a good experience. They were not friendly or cooperative, but they finally did get the job done and cleaned up all the mess.

Unfortunately, our experience was not good. They tried to switch padding on us and give us an inferior quality of padding. Also two seams are visible, although the quality of carpet is decent (we picked that out). I would not hire them again.

Jack's answered my call right away and followed up with an estimate for installation of new carpet. Their prices were a little high, but they showed me samples of high-grade carpeting and explained the stain registers and warranties. The carpet is real nice but I'm not happy with it because the seams show. I called them about the seams and they said that's how it is, but I think they should have done a better job with the seams.

We went to Jack's Carpets warehouse and picked out the carpet we wanted. They showed us different grades and demonstrated the stain resistors. Their prices were very reasonable, and they sold us a very high quality carpet and explained the warranties. The installation was scheduled as soon as a day was set, and the installers were on time. They brought in the carpet, rolled it out, cut and measured it, and laid it. There were no seams showing, and it was nice and even looked beautiful. They cleaned up any mess and picked up all the remnants.

The installation was scheduled as soon as the carpet was available, and the installers were on time. They took up the old carpet and padding, put down the new padding and carpet, and sealed all the seams. They cleaned up all the remnants and left the house looking great. They did an excellent job, and the carpet looks beautiful.

They measured the house & gave us an estimate. The product was of good quality, but the service was terrible. I had the carpet pulled up in the bathroom to install tiles; they brought the wrong color carpet & the second time they didn't bring enough to do the house. I am very dissatisfied with this company & would not hire them again. The workers weren't professional, nor were they timely or respectful.
