Description of Work: I contacted this company through Angie's list on August 26, 2012 to contact me so that I could get a quote to replace the siding on my home. No one from this company ever contacted me to do so. Unfortunately for them, I went with the ONLY company that did respond to my Angie's list requests and they are now replacing my siding at $11,000 for the job. I gues this company is too busy for a "small" job like mine.

Description of Work: Our home, built in 1976, still had the original windows, two original sliding glass patio doors, and rotting siding along the back and side of the house and garage exterior walls. It was long past the time for change!. Luckily, we found Victor's Exteriors through Angie's List, and have been more than satisfied with both the quality of the work, and the materials used. Our sales rep from Victor's, Marty, came out to our house and spent several hours looking things over and making recommendations. Marty's professionalism certainly played a big part in our decision to use his company. We ended up replacing the rotted siding with Hardie siding and trim, both of which were painted to match our house colors, and the colors matched perfectly. At the same time, the workmen checked our insulation and looked for minor structural problems, and removed and replaced the gutter. They also installed 11 Energy Master sliders and 3 Energy Master picture windows (double pane, double hung, insulated, argon gas filled), as well as 2 sliding patio doors (also Energy Master). The work was completed well within the quoted time frame (we had lots of conversations with Marty about times for order placement, materials arrival, workmen arrival, etc.). Marty also visited our home several times when the work was being done, and checked things out when it was finished. All trash, etc., was cleaned up and hauled off! We highly recommend Victor's Exteriors for this type of work. We couldn't be happier with the way it all turned out!

Description of Work: Marty Stegent had a very nice group of workers who came early in the morning and were very efficient in doing the work. They removed the bad siding and the deck we had, replaced any bad studs, replaced or added insulation, wrapped the house with Tyvek's Thermawrap, nailed 1"x2" furring strips wherever the studs were to provide a gap between the Thermawrap and the Hardie Plank which will allow the house to breathe, and replaced the siding with Hardie Plank. They taped the windows and placed flashing on top of the windows to prevent water from seeping in, something the original builder failed to do. They did a good job in installing the doors. The paint job was very good. This group did not sit around doing nothing, instead they kept working while on the job keeping the project moving along. They were very polite. Before they left they asked us to check the job and to let them know if they had missed doing something. They did not ask to be paid the second half till about two weeks after the job was done.They knew where to put the Hardie perforated soffits and where not to.
