Turnkey Painting Plus

No issues at all. They came out, gave an estimate and advised on what types of paint we should supply. They moved the furniture and wall hangings. They used plenty of drop cloths and kept it clean with straight lines. No complaints!!

Turnkey Painting Plus and crew did an excellent job in making our home look like new. They were reasonably priced and executed the work plus a few extra items on time and budget. I would use again and highly recommend.

They were great! They were quick, efficient, and did a good job.

Overall, it was good. For what they originally quoted me, they added on some things which increased the cost. They didn’t put drop cloths down everywhere so there were specks of paint left in some spots. The painting tape was left behind and where they sanded, that wasn’t cleaned up. I called the office back to let them know but they haven't returned my call.

Job was done when promised and they did a great job. Left everything clean and picked up.

The quality and value of the multitude of remodeling jobs TurnKey Painting Plus does can be summarized in one word: OUTSTANDING! Bob is very flexible about what needs to be done to accommodate the customer. His teams work very hard and professionally in their specialties. When any quality was slightly questioned, Bob made sure it received extra attention and was done correctly. When all was satisfactory with me, he still wanted it to pass his inspection...sure enough, he found more that needed doing without increasing the price. When I wanted a 10 cu. ft. appliance garage mounted in the wall above the kitchen counter with matching cabinet doors and a pullout extension drawer, they were very meticulous about how to make it look and work best. That space came out of the closet behind the kitchen wall, but they re-oriented the 9' closet and remodeled it to where it actually holds more than it did before! They replaced six bi-fold doors with new hinged doors. We got 12' of granite breakfast bar counter top, another 16' of granite counter top, and a granite island top. They worked the granite so that the seams are hard to find and the breakfast bar granite flows perfectly over to the kitchen counter top, even though it is 6" higher. Included in the price was the high grade of granite with a lot of motion. We got custom corbels to support a larger breakfast bar than the original one it replaced. They remodeled an a/c return air plenum into a finished linen closet with a new door. That meant moving the air intake to the ceiling and reconfiguring the return air plenum in the attic. They routed a larger air duct for the master bathroom 43', removing the split duct so now the master and its bath each get more air. All of that work meant re-locating the attic stairs without damaging the stairs (saving money). No extra charge for the electrical, plumbing, a/c drain, etc. re-routing. In all, Bob itemized all 13 separate jobs so I could bid out individual pieces to other contractors. Bob's was best at sensitivity to what the customer wants, quoting better items for a better price, and getting it done correctly, quickly, and cheerfully. There was no way I could have coordinated that many contractors and gotten it done as quickly, expertly, and at a bargain price. Please note that I am not an easy customer to please and had to ask a previous bathroom remodeler to leave before they were finished with the job. TurnKey Painters restored my faith in contractors. Pros- these guys are very professional, they emailed me and sent me their warranty, certificate of liability insurance which was pleasantly surprising. Obviously they do take great pride in their work which I could see when the guy first came out to do an estimate. And the subcontractor they sent out was also very professional and did the work. (I think he did a good job but who knows). Cons- very very expensive. I was shocked when he said $500 when I had paid $300 just 4 years ago. Extremely over-priced and I knew immediately when I haggled a little with the first guy (he came down to $450 right away) so I suspected I had gotten royally screwed on this deal. But I really knew I had gotten screwed when they didn't even come out themselves. Instead they subcontracted it out to another guy who came out (again, yes very professional, and polite and all that but I suppose when you get ripped off the least they can do is be polite to you right?). I did not appreciate that at all. When I made my deal it was supposed to be Turnkey painting, not a subcontractor to whom the liability and the responsibility as well as the character of the work performed is now in question. I really did not appreciate being screwed over and having to pay a hefty price. What that tells me is that Turnkey made enough money off me that they could outsource it to someone else. That's like rubbing it in someone's face which is really not a good idea. I will definitely not use these guys again. I am deeply concerned and worried that this subcontractor did not do a good job and now if something happens to my windows there is no responsibility or liability with Turnkey.

They were very friendly, professional and timely. The only thing that could have been done differently was that there was a patch of drywall that cracked and fell away from the ceiling and they painted over the area without asking if I wanted it repaired. However, when I discovered on the walk through when they said they were done I asked them to make the repairs and they did.

He told me that it didn't include the baseboards and that I would have to pay more for them to be done. The work that he did was okay, but there were a few splatters on my molding.

Showed up an hour late and was only able to complete half the job we discussed.

Everything was fine and I didn’t have any issues. The cleanup was good and I had no issues with the scheduling

The guy came out and took pictures of everything and said he would email me the estimate. I have not received the estimate and have called them but gotten no response aboutmy estimate. They are lacking in their follow up.

They were very good. They were very considerate. The cleanup was fabulous. If they show up, started painting and then had to leave for supplies or something, they always let us know. They made sure we checked the progress. It was great. They did a good job.

When the representative first came out the first time, he wanted to give an estimate to include painting, but I only wanted the wood replaced and let him know that. The man who did the work actually removed the wood, replaced, caulked and primed the new installation. It was all ready for me to paint. He did a great job.

I had a very hurried visit from the company's representative for an estimate of materials and appointment. For a number of reasons it was not satisfactory and I decided to rethink the whole process and to request a refund if possible. The office representative has been very nice to try to help with the refund process.

I had to contact the company to come out to give me a bid. They came out and then I didn't hear from them. I contacted them about the bid and received it and scheduled a date for the repair, which was July 25th at 1pm. The workman called me at 9am asking for my address, so I gave it to him. He called 20 minutes later saying he was at my house. I was at work. I said the appt. was at 1pm, and he said he was going to have to reschedule. This has been such a headache, I just want it to end.

It went very well. They did a very nice job. Some of the paint was oil base and some were latex. They came right out to touch up some areas. There were a couple of time I needed to change date but they were very accomdating. They were nice, competent, and on time.

We received the estimate very quickly after meeting at the property. All of the work was done well and completed on time. Contractor found a few unexpected issues when work began and took care of them without charging any extra. We would definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

It was just fine. They were on time and professional.

It was hard to reach them. I left a message letting them know we purchased the Big Deal and they finally called me back awhile later. The day he was supposed to come out to give us a quote/estimate, he didn’t show up. Finally when we had to call them and have that quote appointment re-scheduled. We then scheduled them to do the job. On the day of the appointment, at 8:15 am, the gentleman called and he said they would not be coming out to do the job. I took the day off of work so that I could be there while they were at my house, so that was a little frustrating. The next day they finally came out and they painted the living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. An UN-expected fee had to be paid, because they said that an area that was already in the area wanted painted, a column about 6 feet long, there was an extra charge to have them paint that.
