Turnkey Painting Plus

I needed to get my house ready for sale/lease and when I saw the voucher for 3 rooms painted at just $503, I called to see what was the catch. Shockingly, there wasn't one! Well, except we had to provide the paint. But that was still an excellent deal for the labor. The woman who set up the appointment was very professional and followed up to make sure that we were satisfied. The painter came out to give us an estimate on the rest of the house and broke it down into several options for us. We didn't want to spend a lot of money - just wanted to make the place presentable. I appreciated his detailed options, and had we accepted all the options in his proposal, it would have been about $500 less than the guy we actually used. Although we used him for just the 3 bedrooms, he was prompt and finished the job in one day. Did a good job, too.

Everything went as well as expected. Two guys showed up and completed the job in two days. I would deinately use them again

it did not. The meeting never took place.

it started off fine but when the job was completed, i was asked how it looked to me. the work appeared smeared and the foreman never came back to examine the work by his employees. when i called to address the situation with the company, i was informed that the individual who accomplished the work was a contractor. Abiout seven months later, the contractor was sent out to look at the work and he told me that it was fine even though i pointed out to him some of the areas where the work didn't appear professionally done.

They were inexpensive for what they done. They done a pretty good job.

We had Turnkey Painting paint the whole exterior of our home last year. I called Turnkey Painting this week to ask if he would come back to do some minor touch up work for us. The CIO of the company didn't hesitate and said he would come back out with his team on Friday (today) to do a walkaround. As promised, he arrived this morning and walked around the whole house (upstairs and down) with us and had us point out any areas of concern. Immediately, his team started work. They actually sanded down all of the iron work on both balconies, at the front of the house, and the gate in the back of the house and repainted them all with rust-proof enamel paint. They sanded and repainted all other areas we pointed out. It looks FANTASTIC!! Hiring Turnkey Painting to paint our home has been the best experiences we've had with any contractor. They were VERY professional, on time, and provided top-quality service. I would highly recommend them for any paint or DIY job you may be hesitant to take on yourself.

Very punctual, quick work with plenty of people to do the job, very responsive to what we wanted, didn't try to over sell, clean up at the end of the job could have been better.

The service was okay. They kind of winged it a bit in terms of professional type of estimating. Cost estimates were not what I would consider professional. The quality of the work was fine.

After having several high bids from other contractors, I decided to subscribe to Angie's List. That is where I found Turnkey and Mr. Bob Dimon. Bob came to the house within a couple of days and he knew exactly what needed to be done to my house but did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. That impressed me! He sent me his quote and I accepted it immediately. The guys on his crew were very nice, polite and did a fantastic job! They paid attention to detail. Overall, I was very pleased with the way my house turned out. Talking about a "before" and "after"! I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They did a terrific job. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

The person who provided me with the estimate was professional and punctual. However, the work was very expensive with discount ( I could not fit the amount within my budget). Fortunately, I found a company on Angie's list that was able to give me a better estimate and great work for less than half the price.

Bob Dimon came to my house and we went over what needed to be done. His estimate was very reasonable - one of the lower estimates I received. Everything went well. The crew showed up Monday morning as promised. Rolando Ortiz went over what they were going to do with me and they got started. They finished up Wednesday except for the screens. They returned with the repaired screens about a week later. We had rain during that time and I noticed the water was streaming down in one area. When they returned the screens, they also cleaned the gutter where I had the problem. That did the trick. Overall, they did a very good job. I will ask Bob for an estimate on the interior when we have that painted. I would definitely use them again.

Their price was reasonable. The guy who came out to give us the quote was really nice and the two men who came out to do the job were absolutely fantastic. I will use them again in the future and would recommend them to anybody.

prompt to give estimate, arrived on time. work completed on schedule. no problems other then some dust in another room from spray which I had to clean myself. excellent ability with dark colors and great staining wood.

Bob Diamond, who came out and gave the bid, has got ideas. He can help you think through problems and he can give suggestions on how to deal with your problems. So he is man with ideas. He is very enthusiastic about his work. The main problem is that I have with him is that if he gets busy and takes on other jobs sometimes you would fall near the bottom of the list. I sat with an uncompleted kitchen for three weeks. So I had a little bit of a problem with that particularly we were coming up on the holidays. He did finish up in time for Thanksgiving but just barely. I also don’t like the fact that when he gets busy the level of his supervision decreases. So the consequence there were things had to redone because there were things not done properly by the people who were left in charge. By the time it was all said and done it was pretty good, it just took us a long time to get there, and there was some a tete a tete conversations between he and I before that often done. I don’t think I will use him in the future.

Great job. The door looks beautiful. A great first impression for anyone coming up my front sidewalk! When I called Mr. Diamon he was always polite and responsive, and made sure I was happy with the job. I would use him again without hesitation.

We called this company to come out and give us an estimate for both interior and exterior painting on our house. A representative did come out and we explained what we wanted done and he made several notes and said he would get back to us with an estimate in the next day or 2. It has been over 3 weeks since we had them out and they have not contacted us. Given the lack of response, we decided to go with another company. I chose not to call Turnkey Painting Plus back and ask them again for an estimate because if they can't give me an estimate or explaination when promised, I have my doubts that they would show up to do the job.

I called them and they came out and took care of it for free of charge. They re-sanded and re-painted it in several different places on the garage, side and back of the house. They are always prompt and they are a good bunch to do business with. They did a really good job with our interior, they painted a bunch of walls and have redone some cabinets, things like that. I was real pleased with the work. Their prices are really reasonable.

Turnkey rep provided me an estimate, along with 2 other companies. They were competent in their estimation, bid preparation, and job knowledge, and definitely had a better price than the other competent competitor. After I chose Turnkey, I submitted info to my HOA for approval, which I received in about 1 week. I then scheduled the work for ~ 1 week later (had to defer 1 day at start and 1 day in middle of planned 2-3 day job due to rain). The team did a very thorough job of cleaning my existing siding and trim to prep it for painting. Then they removed the damage wood trim, and showed me the bad material so we could confirm that it was really bad. They then replaced the wood trim with Hardie Plank to match the rest of the house, primed all new trim, and did a good job of caulking around all their installation. 3rd day was spent painting the exterior - good quality exterior paint according to my internet research, contained a mildewcide to inhibit mildew growth in humid Houston weather. color matched existing siding well. Also repainted my garage doors and front door so that everything on the exterior matched. They did a thorough cleanup job, and did a good job wrapping everything to prevent paint spray on other surfaces. The work crews were also very polite and respectful. We liked their work so much that we have asked them to give us an estimate for interior painting of a number of rooms in our home.

My experience with them was good. Everyone was very professional and I was well pleased. I would use them again.

I used strong colors throughout the house with a white trim; this combination is not very forgiving and requires great precision to execute… to ensure compete coverage as well as clean contacts between trim and wall. Numerous visitors to my house since the work was completed (especially the contractors) have offered unsolicited compliments and remarked on what an impressive paint job my house has. I guess that those ‘in the know’ know when quality has been delivered. Turnkey used the paint brands I required and they matched colors with extraordinary care and success. They estimated the work would take 2 weeks. They worked Saturdays and were 90% completed in the estimated time. They were responsive to my very critical eye for straight and neat edge work. Their estimate was neither the lowest nor the highest. They honored it. They were able to start my job promptly. I remained living on the premises throughout the project, so I got to watch all details of the 2 week project up close and personal. The crew of 3 were consistent, and I always felt safe about them. For communicating with clients, this company does use email and text messaging, in addition to mobile phones, which is VERY convenient. Also, they are members of the Better Business Bureau, with a high rating. When you engage Turnkey, I recommend the following tips:  Make acquaintance with the company owner, Bob Dimon, in addition to the project manager and the painting crew that handle your job.  Do ask for and expect for your questions and concerns to be fully addressed. If you think something doesn’t look as good as it should, then keep asking and escalate to get it performed to your satisfaction.  While it’s certainly best to have a job completed correctly the first time, what matters most is that it’s completed correctly…that the contractor will respect your opinions and requests and respond. Be patient and pleasant—after all, we’re all merely human—but also be persistent.  If you’re very particular, like I am, then do allow for the week following their conclusion to include call-backs, touch-ups, punch list work. About my project: 2009 updated the interior of my 45 year old ranch-style home, including all painting (ceilings, walls, closets, trim, kitchen cabs…the works), all floors (carpeting, laminate), numerous plumbing fixtures, etc. About me: I have extremely EXTREMELY high standards. I don’t have tons of money, but I will spend for high quality that represents good value. (This is illustrated in my choice of vehicles—I drive an Acura. That might be pricier than some would have, and it’s also less expensive than what others might choose.) I am a consumer who gets involved and has to understand the why’s and wherefore’s of all contractor work, so I can maintain it for the long term. I work, and I have to juggle contractor appointments to suit my availability to meet them at my house.

He is very professional. He does an excellent job. I have used him before and I am very satisfied with the work.

They were great! They finished the project in 2 1/2 days. They covered everything in plastic to ensure no splatters, and they did great work. Bob Dimon, the owner, came by on the last day to inspect the work and made his team recaulk all the trim upstairs where they had painted to make the lines completely straight. They mixed up several different faux finishes for me to choose from. I will definitely be using this company again, as they also do flooring, cabinetry, and countertops.

Painted over push pin which was too high for me to see until I was dusting the door facing. Left old wall paper glue ragged on the surface next to a counter, painted over it. Painted around wall outlet (rather than remove it before painting) which I did not catch until much later when it was replaced with different plate.
