Serenity Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

He was very courteous and seemed genuinly interested in helping with a weird carpet staining issue we were having. Did a very thorough job and did not rush through it. I will definitely be using them again.

I called Charlie because he had done such a great job on my home carpets. He did not disappoint! I was concerned because there was no way to clean with the truck-mounted suction but he used a mobile cleaner and the nasty carpets got really clean! He was really professional, but in a very friendly, helpful way!

Charlie was very helpful in moving my larger pieces of furniture. My carpets had a lot of residue buildup from prior cleanings with "carpet shampoos", but had never been steam cleaned. The work was done quickly, but thoroughly and came out looking very good. I was impressed :)

I have used several large chain carpet cleaners but the last estimate I got for cleaning my sectional sofa was so outrageous that I decided to check out Angie's List. I am glad I did. Not only was the price more reasonable, the quality of the work was far better! We have a large dog who loves to stretch out on our living room rug. In the past after cleaning the damp rug would always have a slightly musty doggy smell. Not with Serenity, the rug smelled very fresh and looked like new ( it is 4 years old). The sectional as well turned out great and he was painstaking about not missing one square inch of the sofa. Excellent attention to detail and was able to remove several spots that Stanley Steamer had not been able to. Serenity was great. I will always call them first.

This was a good experience! This review is long overdue, as this work was done almost a year ago. I believe this is a family-run business, and I spoke with both the father and son. The son was the one who came to do the work. He was on time, professional, and very thorough. Setting up the appointment was easy in that they were flexible in their timing. I felt this was a really great value. Like I said, this is mainly a father-son team, so I think it is difficult for them to juggle the tasks of answering appointment calls & doing the actual work. This means that it might take a while to get a callback from them when setting up initial appointments. I really would not let this deter anyone from hiring them, but thought I'd give everyone a heads up! Just be patient when calling them or try again if they do not call back right away. They are worth it!

This is a 2 man operation -small business. He had new equipment and dealt with the me directly on the phone. This is what America should be. He was late to the scheduled appointment, but called us 3 hours prior to let us know. So, points for that. The job had a fair price tag and the work was good and speedy. He did take a few phone calls during the job, but like I said, small business so no worries. He cleaned up after himself, took a credit card and was on his way. Nice job. Would hire again. s

They removed some stubborn pet stains that we had feared would require us to replace the carpet. Very professional and they know what they're doing when it comes to cleaning carpets!

I had a great experience with Serenity. We were preparing to move in, following a significant renovation and wanted to have the carpets cleaned, before moving furniture in. The Serenity team (two guys) showed up, right when they said they would and did exactly what they were supposed to do. The carpets had been cleaned before and the previous time they were extremely wet afterwards. When Serenity finished, the carpets looked great and were relatively dry by that evening. They also didn't have a musty smell like it did after the previous cleaning. Not only does the carpet look as good as new, but our dog is a good indicator that they did a thorough job. (The previous owner had a big golden retriever that shed a lot. After the cleaning, our dog never sniffed around, as though there were trace remnants of a previous pet.) One other item that made the guys stand out?I purchased the service through an Angie's List coupon. Apparently there was a glitch on the Angie's List side and I was overcharged. Serenity's owner saw the error and suggested I get a refund. It's all been resolved, but I was so busy at the time, I hadn't even noticed. I appreciated him pointing it out to me. I will use them again.

Charlie returned my call and we set a time and a date. He was here when he said he would be, just as he was last year when I used his services. He remembered me and it was lovely to see him again. Nicest young man in the world. He set up his equipment from my driveway and ran the hoses through the garage, up the stairs. He cleaned everything in about an hour and it looked GREAT! I have some older cats who tend to throw up in the hallway. I've gotten most of the spots out, but some were rather stubborn - not after Charlie was done with them! The carpet was just barely damp and dried in a few hours (a little quicker where it was near an AC vent or a ceiling fan). I would recommend this company enthusiastically.

Absolutely best service! My schedule was very tight and Charlie came when he said he would and did an amazing job!! I asked for 4 room service and he did my stairs as part of one of the rooms!!!! My carpets were bad- dogs, cats and teenagers! They look amazing! Spots i thought would never be gone and honestly I thought would come back after the carpets dried are GONE!!! He was so nice and respectful. My sister and girlfriend are going to book him to do their homes before the holidays. I will definitely use him again as I still have dogs and teenagers. [No cat :( ] VERY Happy!

I live in the money pit. I have had electrical problems, pluming problems, raccoons in the chimney problems and the list goes on and on. The reason I'm telling you all this, is because I have had one guy after another come into my home and either give me good service, or tell me the wallpaper glue left on the walls by the last owners are actually water spots and he's sure I have a leak in the wall. And that weneed to tear the whole thing out. I've had an electrician try and rip me off for $1600. I had a man redo my bathroom and put the light fixtures in upside down. So when I say I have had good service, I mean it. I'm not a fan of repair men at all. But Charlie from Serenity Carpet was very professional. He was on time. Which is a rarity for me. He was friendly and had a creepy factor of zero. When I do find good people I stick with them. And I will be using Charlie again. My carpets look wonderful. And considering I have two dogs, one cat and a 5 year old, clean carpets are a true blessing.

Purchased Coupon for services off of Angies List. Serenity Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning has been unresponsive in all attempts to contact them both by phone and by email. UPDATE: Serenity Carpet responded with apologies for overlooking my email. Although I had already received a refund from Angieslist they honored the coupon price. The area I wanted cleaned was larger than what the coupon covered however Charlie refused to accept additional money for the extra footage.

Charlie was excellent. Friendly, trustworthy, punctual and efficient. He did a great job! I'll definitely call him again.

Did a great job. These were old carpets that showed their age. The carpets came out much better than I had hoped.

He was on time and did an excellent job of cleaning my carpet. He even got out spots that other carpet cleaning companies could not remove. I was extremely pleased with this company.

He was punctual and willing to come quickly. He was alone and said he could not move any furniture in order to reach stains there. He removed a couple of stains but said the majority had been there too long and b3ecause I had already attempted ti clean the carpet on my own, the problem had been exascerbated. He did reduce the fee somewhat, saying he felt badly that he had not been able to get some stains out. The stretching was adequate in most places, but not as complete as I had hoped.

I had purchased the service as a house warming gift for a friend. He said it went very well, and he was pleased with the result.

As mentioned, the carpet service was originally scheduled based on a coupon for a specific number of rooms. The service was scheduled to begin at approximately noon because a plumber was installing a whole-house filtration system in the morning and no water service would be available. The plumber had scheduled an early appointment and expected to be finished by midmorning. Things didn't quite work out that way and when Serenity arrived, the plumber was still working on the installation. Serenity was very gracious and waited politely for nearly and hour while the plumber finished up. When Serenity arrived and confirmed the job, the serviceman offered to extend the discount offer to cover cleaning all the carpeting including the curved stairs. When he finally was able to get to work, he was careful to treat darkened areas of the berber carpet thoroughly. He did a fantastic job getting obviously old, ground-in, very visible dirt out of that light colored berber carpeting! While it would be unfair to say the carpet looked new, it certainly looked volumes better when he was done!
