Serenity Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning

He was running late and called to let me know he was going to be late. He did a good job. They sent one person out to do the job and he was done within 90 minutes. The scheduling was fine.

It went great!! Leonard called to let us know when they were going to arrive. They were very professional and did an outstanding job. I thought the price and service were very very good!! I would use them again!!~ Randy

The price was $100, but he encouraged us to put a treatment on it to protect it. We had a problem, and he came back and rectified it. The downside was that after he cleaned the arm covers which were removable, he laid them on an antique chair, and the dampness damaged the wood. We didn't call him or do anything about it. We weren't thinking about that when he did it, but he is in the business so he should have thought about it. He was hours late that day. He was offering a special of $99 that day. He came back and that was good. I don't know if I would have him again. It was a struggle with him trying to sell all kinds of services. He came back to fix the problem, but we have since covered the sofas with quilts. He did the best with what he had to work with, and he made it better, but he created more problems. The first time he showed up at 5 in the evening, and it wasn't a really good experience.

Leonard and his crew did a fantastic job cleaning my carpet. Leonard is very knowledgeable and has a wealth of experience with this line of service. I really appreciated his expertise regarding some problem areas that I had versus what I thought could be done based on my lack of knowledge about chemicals and the materials involved. I felt the cleaning was a little pricey after the additional charges for treating pet stains but overall I am very satisfied with results. I highly recommend Leonard and Serenity and will use them again.

Leonard and his crew showed up a bit late due to traffic but he called me several times to let me know. They quickly got to work dry cleaning my furniture. I was very pleased with the services. He is excellent at explaining why he needs to do something a particular way. My couch and living room chairs, and four of my dining chairs had to be dry cleaned and it cost more, but he explained everything. Special care was needed for my wool and silk rug too. Definitely would use them again.

I had left a previous average rating for Serenity, and they promptly called me and scheduled a new cleaning. When they came out the cleaning was much much better. They have purchased a new system recently and it works great. They carpet hadn't been this clean since we bought the house. The date isn't correct, but it was last year sometime. My other review was supposed to be deleted, so I'm writing this one to counteract the old one and I will call Angie's list again.

They did a fantastic job. Between his attitude and moving the piano five times to take the rugs, it was great.

These men are professionals all the way. They hit the door running, gave me an estimate that explained everything within minutes of surveying the needs. They explained everything on the estimate, and took the time to explain everything they did at every step of the way. I could not have asked for a better job done. I now have my carpet cleaning company!

The service went well. One guy came out for the job at my mother’s home. He was prompt and clean with the job. She was very pleased with the service and we plan on using this company again.

Actually selected two carpet companies that service my area from Angie's List to contact based on the highly rated reviews they got. When I contacted the other company (Revive), they did not answer the phone and their message box was full. Serenity answered their phone immediately. Leonard answered all my questions about their cleaning process and carpet stretching procedure and provided all the rate info I requested. He was not pushy about any extras. Leonard stated that their cleaning process was a good process and I should experience it first before deciding whether I felt extra deodorizer or such was needed. Additionally, Leonard offered me a recently expired Angie's List deal of $149 for cleaning up to 800 sq ft of carpet. The stretching was 50 cents/sq ft. Leonard was able to schedule me within the timeframe I needed. I was given a 3 hour block for the day of service and the technicians, Charlie and Mark, came within that time period. They went right to work and stretched the carpet first in the two areas of concern - my Master and the hallway. Additionally, I had a loose carpet seam in the living room that transitions to tile and Charlie fixed that for me. After stretching the carpet, they pre-treated all the carpet to be cleaned. The spray solution includes a peppermint essential oil that smelled fantastic. Then they steam cleaned the carpet with a mild hydrogen peroxide rinse. They were in and out within 2 hours. My carpet is sooo clean without any extras and all the ripples in my carpet are gone! Charlie and Mark were very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. They exceeded my expectations! I will definitely use Serenity again!!

He was on time-I hate waiting for a service that is promised between a window of 9.00 to 12.00 and they show up at 12.30.

I have used this company twice before. I was happy with the service both times, although I had my carpets cleaned twice in a 6 month period. This is probably due to the carpets being 16 years old, not the cleaning service. I called Serenity. The young man that had cleaned my carpets twice before actually answered the phone. He said the girls that do the scheduling were on other lines but someone would call me back to schedule. (in the past I scheduled my service directly with him) After waiting over a week and no one called me back, I called again. This was later in the afternoon, 5:30 or so. I explained to the man that answered I have called, no one called back. He said something to the effect, that's not good. He would have someone call me right back to schedule. NO ONE CALLED. Needless to say, you shouldn't have to chase a company down to do business. After my first cleaning, I recommended them to my neighbor. She later told me she called and left message, but...NO ONE CALLED BACK.

Absolutely terrific job. They pre-treated stains that i could never get out for years, and actually got them cleaned after steam cleaning service. They not only do what they say they will, but they will not leave your house until you are satisfied. Great contractor.

Perfect job, not a stain left anywhere and I have lightly colored carpet. I would use them again.

The service worked out fine, he did what he was supposed to do. He had a good attitude, and I used to own a carpet cleaning company, and so I know exactly what they are supposed to do, and how the equipment works, and he gave good service for the cost. The carpet cleaning method they used was not good, because anytime you spray chemicals on a carpet, and even though you rinse it as thoroughly as you can, it still remains there, and it creates the carpet to be sticky afterwards, and this attracts dirt from your feet faster.

Very professional and workmanlike. Only thing I didn't care for was the almost constant trying to sell more. Was not a hard sell, when we said no thanks, that was it.

The tiles were good but the carpet was not. The first time I used Serenity, it was great. I had Charlie to work with. The second time it was Leonard. I ended up having to get a brand new carpet. I was not pleased because he convinced me that it would not have an odor to put down the deodorizer. My carpets were really good carpets and they were nice. I have a dog so he told me that I needed to put the deodorizer down. He told me it was non-toxic. He kept telling me it was non-toxic. He ended up putting down the deodorizer. Against my better judgement, the first time they came out, Charlie was super nice and said I didn't need it. It ruined my carpet. It's not like a cheap hotel room that someone had smoked in. It didn't go away. He did come in and try to clean it up. The smell stayed. I told him originally that my husband and I both have really sensitive noses. I didn't want anything with an odor. He assured me it wouldn't but it was horrible. We ended up having to spend $1200 getting a new carpet. It wasn't a good experience for me. When they did the tile, they did a good job with that part. I would use them again if Charlie came out. I would not use them again if it was Leonard. After all the discounts, I just wanted my money back for the cleaning. Leonard is a very pushy salesman and I don't like that. That's why I went back to them because I had Charlie originally. He tried to make it right but the problem was I had to buy new carpets.

They came twice, the tile was good but the carpet was not. The first time i used Serenity it was great, i had charlie to work with. The second time it was Lenard and i ended up getting a brand new carpet. I was not pleased because he told me it would not have an odour in order to put down the deodorizer and my carpets were really good carpets and they were nice. He kept talking about non toxic. I smelled so bad. We ended up spending 1200 dollars to get a new carpet.
