Sears Garage Door Installation and Repair

. Most other companies wouldn't even help unless we paid them to come out. Sayed at Sears got with their commercial door expert and explained everything to me. It turns out we'd better go with a side opener on a residential sectional door but I appreciated the consultation sooo much.

Very well. Steve did an outstanding job while being both professional and friendly.

The work was never performed. There was a disconnect between Angie's list and Sears, and I waited over a week for someone to contact me to schedule.When I contacted Sears, they had no record of my purchase, said they would do some research and call my back in 30 minutes. I never received a call, so I called back later to check on it and got the same answer. I contacted Angie's list to see if they sent the order and they said they would resend it and that I should wait another 24-48 hours for Sears to contact me. I decided to cancel my order instead of trying to get it sorted out and waiting even longer.

This was a wonderful experience. My garage door bound up on Friday evening when I got home from work. It wound up completely stuck, lopsided, and with one of the rollers popped off the track. I called Sears after checking Angie's List. They took my info and called me back first thing on Saturday morning to schedule an appointment. Their technician came out first thing Monday morning. Adrian was prompt and very professional. He clearly explained the problems and what he would do to fix them. He recommended changing out the rollers for Teflon ones, but didn't push me towards it. He showed me how to lubricate the track, rollers, hinges, and springs. He was there about 40 minutes from when he rolled up to when he left. Nice and quick! The price seemed reasonable, too. Nothing was tacked on above the estimate, and the service fee was waived. Great service, I would highly recommend them.

Overall good experience. Representative set an appointment for a price quote, then returned on a date of my choosing to change the door. Reasonably priced and professional.

Good until I got the bill. I never again will use Sears for any type of service call. Be forewarned.

It was excellent. He was excellent. He came out and fixed it right away. The price he quoted was excellent. The employees were superior.

I have a 3 car tandem garage and the battery pack came loose from the ceiling and cracked. He told me it would cheaper to get the whole unit. He talked me into buying 2 units which was quieter and had motion sensor units for the lights. The gentleman was personable and very good and looked like he could change it in his sleep.

They provide qualified people and that is great. The main thing I am recommending is their service agreement and that is why I buy all appliances from Sears. I do the research online and I order from Sears online. They are excellent with their service.

Excelllent job- - the service person did the repair on the same day we called. He was very professional and also gave us some helpful tips on maintaining the door in the future.

I was very happy with them! He did a check up on my garage door. He oiled and tightened a few things. The tech was very professional and very kind. He was the home for maybe a half hour. He suggested replacing the garage wheels but he wasn't pushy at all.

He explained everything and talked to us. He was at the home for 45 mins. He did a good job. He came out fairly quickly. When he found out I couldn't get anyone to help me, he said he'd come right away; he came in the evening.

They were wonderful! We were thrilled to death on the work that they did. The tech was at the home for 45 mins. and he showed me where the adjustments on the door was and told me about some lubricants to purchase. I won't call anyone else!

Justin, the technician, was early, but called before he came to see if with would be ok. He explained what he was doing and why - very pleased with his work.

Justin and Brian were very focused and meticulous while diagnosing the problem and completing the task. Justin was very thorough by spraying the rollers and springs on the garage door before leaving. It took only one day to replace the part.

Sears was fine on the garage door. It was good. They were very knowledgeable about what they were doing and they left the place spotless, so they did a good job.

Not only did Sears do a great job on the install, but the price was extremely reasonable for our insulated, double carriage style doors with windows. We saved even more money by getting magnetic carriage door hardware instead of having them bolted into the doors-- the tech suggested we try the magnetic ones first (and if we didn't like them, he could install the hardware and bolt them to the doors). Thrilled with the quick repair and excellent replacement!

This was the third provider we contacted. The first two were disasters ! Sears service was outstanding the garage door now functions better than when it was installed ! A++++ .

The technician, Steve, was personable, professional, and got the job done very quickly. My garage door opens smoothly and the opener is much quieter now. Steve showed me what I needed to do to maintain the door, torsion spring, and garage door opener in the future. While he was here I had him replace the rollers in the second garage door as well (not an upsell - it was at my request). Overall a very good experience.

Changed my ideas on rollers, which was fine; he described what he thought needed to be done. I accepted and he did them. Didn't waste time, efficient and effective. Not sure about prices as I hadn't checked with other co.s before I arranged his visit.

Everything was fine. My door was bent and was going to continue to have problems. He offered to fix it, but we ended up having a new door installed instead.

The provider was prompt, courteous and spent extra time explaining how to maintain the garage door opener working parts. Super pleased.
