Description of Work: Spoke with Paul and he "phone quoted" approximately $250 to do inside and out of windows, but would have to see to do a firm quote. A very nice and polite employee came out promptly and together we inspected windows and he "sample cleaned" some which I thought possibly had calcification on them, but he verbally assured me,"I've got to be honest with you, you don't need to go to the expense of cleaning for calcification", but boss will have to send final quote. When quote was received it showed the standard cleaning of an amount and an identical additional amount for decalcification. This brought the price to twice what I had expected to pay. On 2 subsequent inquiring phone calls to National's office, Paul was not available to discuss the matter, but the employee who had come out ,along with someone whom I assume was a manager., stated that he had never said the above and the price would stand as quoted. As we could reach no compromise, I found someone else to do this work.

+ -1 morePaul gave me an estimate before I made an appointment for him to clean, so I knew exactly what the cost would be. He did a very good and very neat job and was particularly attentive to my six very large (and very dirty) windows in my two story living room. He had to redo a few places when he noticed they weren't as clean as they should have been. His price was exactly as he had estimated. My only problem (my fault, not Paul's) was that I forgot to ask for the Angie's List 10% off the first cleaning. See the coupon on the website.
Description of Work: Cleaned every window in my two story house inside and out. He arrived on time, worked quickly and expertly and was very careful bringing his equipment into my home.

+ -1 moreThey did not show up or call on the date the cleaning was originally scheduled and because it was Saturday, we were unable to reach anyone from the company although we called and emailed. They called on Monday and said there was a mix up with their scheduling and rescheduled for the following Saturday. Then they arrived on time and completed the job with 2 people in approximately 3.5 hours. They did not give us an estimate on cost until they arrived, they surveyed the house and called into someone. That person initially told us the cost would be $600 but agreed to $450 if we paid in cash. This seemed a little questionable but we agreed since $600 was much higher than we have paid other companies for similar work. The work was done very well. The men that did the work were very professional, however the office staff seems to lack organization and customer service skills.
Description of Work: Cleaned all windows, inside and out, on our house which is a large 2 story with many floor to ceiling windows and very high window at entry way.

+ -1 moreJose (I think that's his name) came and gave me an estimate first and then we made an appointment. Then Jose and Paul both came to do the job. It took two men to take off the storm windows, clean them, clean the windows on the house and then bolt the windows back on. Good job.
Description of Work: I wanted the six windows on the front of the house cleaned. They have storm windows bolted on to the frames. Two men took off the storm windows, cleaned them and then cleaned the windows on the house, inside and out. They did a marvelous job and I would use them again.

+ -1 moreJose did an excellent job! I really didn't think our windows were that dirty until I saw half of one window cleaned. The water was black! (Which Jose changed out several times, by the way.) I was impressed that he wore shoe covers when entering the house and carefully moved furniture when it blocked a window. Jose works very fast. He was in and out within a couple of hours.

The next day Jose just showed up unannounced. Thankfully I was home and it worked out. I asked for an estimate on gutter cleaning. Jose said the office would call me. No one ever did. The work was good, but the office wasn't.

+ -1 moreDid excellent job. Was very professional and took pride in his work. Very careful about moving furniture away from windows, and was careful about tracking in dirt from his shoes. I was impressed overall with a job well done. A little pricey, but this was 1st cleaning in about 7 years, so windows were extremely dirty.

He took extra trouble to clean fingerprints from our teenage sons room from when they climbed onto the balcony. The windows and paint look practically new. The windows sparkle. I highly recommend this company and Jose. I've already scheduled Jose to come back to clean the windows in 6 months. I wish I could rate them A+.

+ -1 moreJose was really great! He arrived early and was actually waiting for me to arrive. Jose cleaned all the windows inside first, then worked on the outside. While inside, he wore protective covers for his shoes and layed mats down under the windows in which he was working with. Outside he had the proper equipment (i.e. tall ladders)to reach the highest windows on the house. Additionally, he did everything in a little less than two hours, and everything looks great! I will definitely be requesting Jose again in the future as I plan on having the windows cleaned twice a year! Thanks Jose!!
Description of Work: I requested that all windows on my new house (both inside and out) be cleaned. It's a very large three story house which requires extra attention.

+ -1 moreThe two living room windows are too large for us to wash without a great deal of effort. National Window Cleaning, which focuses mostly on commercial window cleaning, does all our windows at least twice a year but usually in the spring and fall. They do a fantastic job. It is almost as if the windows are not in place. The whole house takes two or three hours to finish depending on how dirty the windows are.
Description of Work: National Window Cleaning washes all our windows. We have two very large panoramic view windows in our living room that overlook the woods out back.
