They schedule an actual time, not a window. The service man was early. I don't think that's ever happened to me. ( I wasn't quite ready, he had to wait a few min.) He explained what he was going to do, how long it would take, and what I needed to do for follow up in the house. We have to reschedule the outside treatment as it was too wet to do.

I was having a problem with ants in my kitchen and contacted this company after seeing them on here. They were very friendly and professional. Had to come back out a second time because the ants were so bad and didn't charge additional for it. I am using them for my quarterly pest control. They have been to my home three times now and I am very happy with the service.

I called Long Point Pest Control on a Monday morning, because we had had a huge problem with "Crazy Ants". I had been exterminating, but the ants were coming by the thousands everyday and dying in the middle of the floor. I was not able to stop them. Long Point Pest Control sent someone out within the hour. He was a very nice man who seemed to enjoy his job and was very knowledgeable about it. He went about checking everything out and gave me an estimate. We asked if he could go ahead and do it while he was there...which he did. It has been several weeks now and it appears that they "Crazy Ants" are not around anymore. I was impressed with Long Point Pest Control. Both on the phone and in person, they were very professional and seemed sincerely like nice folks! We will definately recommend them to all our neighbors!

Long Point was extremely responsive in getting an appointment scheduled and has very friendly staff. We had seen some roach activity and purchased the Angies List deal to have them come treat quarterly for pests. They had to come out 3 times since we eventually found that we had a German roach problem. Ed came out and was extremely helpful in explaining the treatment process and

I bought an annual contract for pest control through an Angie's List deal. The price was outstanding, and the exterminator who came to my house was outstanding as well. He answered every question I had and did everything I expected and nothing that I did not want. He sprayed inside the house along the baseboards throughout the house (not just in the kitchen and bathrooms as some companies do), and outside he sprayed along the foundation of the house and put a granular bug killer around the house. He did NOT spray the yard, which I was concerned about because my neighbor had already yelled at me for using an exterminator at all, thinking the materials used would kill the bees and birds and the entire ecology of the world. Everything was perfect, and if there is any problem with bugs he said they would come back for free. I could not recommend them more highly!

I had a few floor boards that seemed hollow when I stepped on them and suspected I had termites. I went on Angie's List and researched pest control companies that had excellent reviews. What drew me to Long Point was the numbers of years they've been in business and the excellent reviews left by previous customers. Mike Higgins came to inspect my home and was very friendly, courteous and personable. He was very knowledgeable on different types of termites and on how they travel to get to the house. He knew immediately from flipping one floor board that I had termites. He also gave me a short history on the company and made it seem like he loves his job and wants to do a good job. I called the same day and made an appointment for the following week. I then saw a deal on Angie's List that ended up saving me almost $200. Luis and his partner came on a Saturday morning and treated the house in about 2 1/2-3hours, They were both very nice, courteous, friendly and very respectful and also very hard workers. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needs termite treatment. Long Point has given me peace of mind.....

It was very easy to schedule the appointment. Kim was very flexible and very responsive to all my questions. Raul (Technician) was very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend for your pest control needs.

We suspected a small cockroach infestation in our home (1 yr old). We were seeing one every night (on average) in the bathrooms and near the front door. I suspected they were coming in from outside but I wasn't sure if they would eventually take hold inside. I regularly treat the foundation myself with over the counter products but I needed to get an expert in before it got out of control. I called Long Point Pest Control. Amy was very helpful over the phone and while the diagnosis we came up with (german roaches, bad!) wasn't ultimately correct, she prepared me for the worst and I set about pulling things out of cabinets in prep for what I assumed would be a house bombing. Raul showed up not only on time but actually a half hour early. Amy called ahead to make sure that was okay, a real courteous thing actually because early is sometimes as bad as late. I showed him where I had seen them and an example of what we were dealing with. I had actually found one and killed it while I was pulling items out of the cabinet. He identified it as an asian roach (not so bad). A good thing he said because the treatment is different, less invasive. I didn't have to leave the house as he treated it (a requirement for the original plan). Raul was friendly, polite, knowledgeable, and engaging. I was concerned about the chemicals around my pregnant wife. He assured me the toxicity to humans was negligible with only incidental contact. Not even a problem since she is out of town for a few days anyway. He gave me the name of the product and with my chemistry degree I was able to look up and understand the contents later. The efficacy of the treatment remains to be seen, however the rest of my experience with Long Point Pest Control has been supremely positive. They were punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. They even processed my check on site with their smart-phone integrated point of sale applications. From a customer perspective, they appeared to be a company that has it's head in the game. I would probably use them again.

Came out within two hours of contacting them. Suggested appropriate treatment (bait behind electric plates in kitchen area). Declined to "up sell" more services than were needed (i.e., no need for bait in other rooms and explained why spraying around the outside of house would trap the ants inside, rather than using the bait to drive them out). Technician was friendly, informative, and efficient.

All was great. I used an Angie's List coupon to contract for a year's service. I was contacted the same day to schedule a date for the first pest control. Per my request, long Point Pest Control came out the very next morning. They are thorough and professional. We are very happy with our choice of this company.

I chose Long Point Pest Control because the company is a full-service pest control company. Some providers give very limited service with rodent control, in particular, and want to give you quarterly treatment for "bugs" in the home only; I recommend Long Point highly as your full-service resource for outside and indoor pest control. I lived in West University, Houston, TX, for almost 16 years before moving to the Clear Lake area. While living in West University, I often saw noctural activity from rodents along the overhead wires, and we had a huge owl population that was credited with helping with rodent control. After moving and owning a townhouse in the Clear Lake area for almost 10 years, I began to see evidence of rodents and, at first, was not concerned. When rodents began showing-up on the patio of my courtyard, however, I became alarmed and can say that Long Point Pest Control was the only pest control service that responded immediately and effectively to the problem of rodent control. The technician, Frank, not only understood the products and traps that should be used, but he also understood the behavior of rodents and the "how" and the "why" of their movement into attics and garages, etc. I followed his advice precisely, and eventually he removed 3 rodents from the attic and provided extrusion services to prevent further problems. He was courteous, prompt, and "took ownership" of the problem until it was fully resolved. The price was reasonable, and the service provided by Long Point Pest Control was excellent. More recently, Long Point provided termite treatment and protection for my townhouse. Mike, the inspector, really knows his products and, like Frank, knows about the behaviors of the pests that need to be controlled. He explained everything fully, and the technicians were courteous and experienced. I feel confident that the termite problem has been eliminated. While working with this company, I've also had a chance to talk with Kim and Ed, the Service Manager. They are quick to respond to any concerns that may arise. Everyone has a great work ethic and takes pride in the company's expertise and history. This company has been in business in the Houston area for over 50 years and really knows how to address the problems that we have here in this region. Communication is the key when hiring any good contractor, and this contractor is highly experienced and capable and communicates well with home owners. You will be glad that you can contact Long Point Pest Control when or if a problem with pest control arises in your home or yard.

Staf were friendly, courteous and knowledgable. Very efficient and thorough in the way they worked. We were very pleased with the service and would recommend to anyone. The service is appropriately guaranteed, which means a lot when it comes to termites. Overall, very pleased with the service, price and outcome.

I purchased a deal through Angie's List for this company. Exterminator arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous. It has been a month and still no ants. Good job.

Mike and Luis arrived on time and ready to work. Very professional and a straight shooter all in one. Mike explained in detailed what he was doing and what was needed to complete the job. Let me say this was a GREAT experience. The house is old on Pier and Beam Luis crawed around investigated areas hard to get to for previous companies. This is the second time we?ve called Long Point Pest Control. Our first experience was a good one, right from the start thanks to Mike Higgins, whose knowledge, experience and patience in explaining our termite problem and the necessary procedures to eliminate them blew me away. That job was completed in a professional, timely fashion and at a competitive price. NOW Mike has gone above and beyond. We're purchasing a home and needed an inspection on short notice, not only did he agree to accommodate us right after a holiday weekend ( I insisted that he be personally asked when told he was booked solid), but when bad weather hampered his appointments, Mike kept trudging on and was out inspecting our property at 8:30 PM, in order to make sure we'd have time to make our decision. Again, his report was incredibly detailed and provided information we needed to negotiate and complete our purchase. We'll close on that property this week and will call Long Point to perform the work Mike quoted us, once again at a competitive price. I can?t imagine better service that what we?ve received from this family owned company.

Called 30 minutes before arrival. Was on-to m e. He had the proper working equipment and finished the job in about 25 minutes. The treatment worked, and we a r e satisfied. Would use again.

I spoke with the company and they said they were the wrong packages for the work I needed to have done.

They worked with my schedule and both the pest control person and the scheduler were very friendly and knowledgeable. It was quick and satisfactory. They informed me services would be cheaper if I signed up for regular quarterly service, but did not try to pressure me into signing up. A little pricey, but overall a great job.
