She deserves and A++. She came on time and did a thorough job. She made sure the place was spotless. The Big Deal covered 4 hours of work but she wasn’t quite done so she stayed a little longer to get everything completed. I would highly recommend her and we will use them again soon.

The job worked out really well. They were polite and professional. They did the job okay, although they did damage my countertop. I called them to tell them about it and to be careful next time. They offered to come out and see if there was something they could do which was very nice of her, but these type of countertops can’t be repaired. If they had just covered up the countertops, there wouldn’t have been any damage.

I contacted Levinson's Construction after purchasing their "Big Deal" $119.00 for up to 4 hours of wallpaper removal and wall resurfacing on April 15, 2012. I talked with April Levinson and she was very polite and professional. She told me that she was booked for the remainder of April and the entire month of May. She scheduled me for June 1, 2012. She explained that there would be two people removing the wallpaper for a time of 2 hours labor. Anything after that would be at a charge of $85.00 per hour. I was quite surprised at her outrageous cost of removing wallpaper and preparing the drywall and told her I would certainly not be adding additional hours to the "Big Deal". On June 1, 2012 at 9:00 am sharp two employee's arrived and set up quickly and efficienly (10 min). Their time began at precisely 9:10. They used two wallpaper steamers which, when plugged into our outlets, blew fuses twice. My husband finally gave them an extension cord and plugged one steamer into another circuit. The bathroom area was small but they only had time to remove the paper. The paper was removed along with the backing and no damage was done to the drywall. No wall resurfacing was done. They cleaned up everthing and vacuumed the area. They left precisely at 11:10 am. I was disappointed that no dry wall was resurfaced as was stated in the "Big Deal". They seemed to work at a reasonable pace but with two of them and it being such a small area, I felt I should have received what the Big Deal offered. I will not use them again as their hourly price seems to me to be absolutely outrageous for wall resurfacing. Other Big Deals I have purchased gave me a fair amount of work for the Deal. I have used roofers, plumbers and painter's deals and have been more than satisfied with the work done for the money. This Deal did not leave me feeling good about the amount of work done for the price.

It was a big job, having to remove the wallpaper and prepared the walls for painting but all was done in a highly professional manner.

They arrived as planned and any errands (to get paint, etc.) were done in an efficient manner. April and her crew assisted me with returning the funiture back to its original place as well. I will definately use Levinson's Construction again.

Due to the recommendations on Angies list, we waited 6 weeks to have this company perform the work. Two workers arrived at 10 am and worked (?) until 10 PM. To thier credit, April did write off 3 hours from the final bill. The two bedrooms were painted one color --ceilings and walls the same. They left a two inch unpainted swatch around the air vents, did not paint the closets (April said that we didn't ask for that), didn't paint the inside of the windows and did not paint the trim, even though they bought the paint for it. I should mention that one of the bedrooms was empty and the other had a bed that was moved to the center of the room. It took us two days to clean up from all the drywall dust and paint overblow. The results were FAR below the previous reviews.

April was simply the best! I had a great expereince with her and found her to be probably the most reliable and professional contractor I have worked with to date. She arrived on time, gave an appropriate estimate and got the job done quickly and per the estimate. Due to previous bad expereinces with contractors, I insisted that April come herself to do the job, which she did. She and her helper got straight to work stripping the wallpaper and took only 1 break for lunch- they worked the whole time. My bathroom now looks amazing; wallpaper gone, drywall repaired where needed, re-texturing and painting. All in 2 days. I would highly reccommend her.

As you might expect, these guys do a great job (since I have had them back, and will have them back again). But they have a great breadth of skills that go beyond the handyman stage of things. They have great ideas to be able to do things saving you money ... rather than taking the longer more expensive "replace things" route. Some things that I thought had to be replaced could actually be repaired. And their carpentry work saved me a bundle in the utility room, and in the dining room. April works at a "job price" or she will work at an hourly rate. And that hourly rate is only when they are actually working. So she doesn't charge for lunch time, or for her running to the local big-box store to get supplies. She is honest, forthcoming, and will save you money in the long run.

I originally contacted April Levinson when her company offered an Angie's List deal for 3 hours of sheetrock repair for $100 (purchased as a Christmas gift for my 84 year old father). Both of us were impressed with her and scheduled further work, which was done last weekend. She and her crew arrived right on time both days. She dispatched her crew to various preparation tasks while she went to purchase the required sheetrock and paint (we had already chosen a paint color and type from her previous recommendations). By the time she returned, the sheetrock patching was well under way. The crew took good care to cover and protect personal items. Her crew was very organized, efficient and personable. They performed a very thorough clean up before leaving. My father was very pleased with the quality of the work (as am I) and enjoyed their company during the process. April provided an original quote at the first inspection. Of course, as we emptied closets and moved furniture, we found additional sheetrock damage. She revised her quote each time a new issue was found and confirmed that we did want additional work before proceeding. She and her crew answered all of our questions and provided status updates as they worked. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Angie and her associate Alex arrived on time and worked steadily for over 3 hours. They removed wallpaper and textured the walls from 2 sink sections of a Jack & Jill bathroom. They removed the light fixtures & large mirrors so that if I wanted to change out the mirrors at a future time the walls would already be textured. At the end of the project all the old wall paper was removed from the premises, the light fixtures replaced, the mirrors cleaned and everything left all cleaned up. They did a wonderful job and I would hire Angie again in a second. I would highly recommend Angie's company!!

I purchsed the $99 coupon for 4 hours of wallpaper removal. I spoke with April the owner to schedule the job; she was very nice and was able to work with my schedule. Rosa was on time and went quickly to work, the job was finished the same day with no extra charges necessary. The communication from both ladies was excellent. When Rosa came across an area with double paper, she called and let me know it might require more time. Luckily, it wasn't necessary and there was no extra charge even thought the coupon didn't include walls with double paper. The work area was left spotless! I wouldn't have known they were there expect for the missing wallpaper. I will definately use them in the future.

The wallpaper was very old. We attempted to remove it ourselves without destroying the drywall and could not so we called in professionals. April and her assistant worked long and hard to get the job done. They put down floor protection before they started and cleaned up and removed all the old wallpaper after they finished. My wife and I were very pleased with the quality of the work. I would definitely hire Levinson’s Construction again and highly recommend them.

Wallpaper took a little longer than expected to remove, but otherwise the job went smoothly.

Arrived a little later than expected toward the later part of the hour given for arrival. Looked over work and noted that the texture might be difficult to replicate completely, especially for laundry room wall as this is typically done by a messy, cumbersome machine. I asked about time for the job since there could be an overage with extra payment needed beyond Angie's List Deal amount. I was told the job would most likely not go over but would take the entire time period of 1.5 hours since there were 2 people on the job. Work started immediately after this discussion and plastic rolled out to protect kitchen from dust etc. After time was over inspected texture and work and looked good. Noted that I needed to wait for it to dry before painting but was happy with coverage. April mentioned during the work that she also does other work around the house and that an estimate could be given for painting or crown moulding etc which I took advantage of. I plan on asking her back for the crown moulding in a month and take her up on the estimate she provided. Happy with the work but even happier with her professionalism and nice demeanor.

April is a pleasure to work with. She and her team arrived on time, did quality work and we were so impressed that we added additional work to our contract. She did exactly what she said she would do, in the amount of time she said it would take and did a very professional job. I highly recommend her.

April is real pleasure to work with. I bought the wallpaper removal coupon on Angie's list. The team showed up punctually on the day set. April gave me an overview of which work will be performed and also updated me on an hourly basis. She made me aware of areas that needed further repair and what can be done. The team made sure all cabinets were protected properly before starting the work and cleaned up very thoroughly after they were done. The work was performed diligently and I am happy with the result.

She does such a good job. She does what ever it takes to get the job done. She is great and her prices are very reasonable.

April and crew were on time. They did the requested work in a timely manner (about 8 hours). They cleaned up after the work was complete and did not leave a mess. One thing I would suggest to all subscribers is to get the exact work to be done in writing. For example, if you want a room painted, be sure to spell out that you want the walls, ceiling, and trim work done. If it is spelled out ahead of time, there will be no misunderstanding.

I called April after purchasing the Angie's list coupon and she was very good to go ahead and book me for an available time to do the work - when she came that morning she told me about how long she thought it would take and we decided to go to finish the job rather than just utilizing the coupon. She was most fair in figuring her time to not just charge more. She helped me pick a great paint color and then went and got the paint for me and just did a complete job. Really Great!!! Will definitely use her again.

April and her crew were neat, trustworthy, and professional. They did everything beautifully, and she was even able to find my exact shade of paint from 10 years ago...couldn't be happier. A++++

They didn't even charge me for the wood flooring because they totally botched that. The drywall is not as nearly as professional as I thought, you can tell where they did it. The paint doesn't match but also the texture doesn't match. I've had other people fix my drywall and didn't have a problem but these guys I feel like didn't know what they were doing. They were nice people though, they weren't jerks.

I contracted April after I purchased her Big Deal for drywall repair. She came out and looked at all the work we wanted done and set a date to do the work right on the spot. We had some fairly extensive ceiling drywall repair to be done as well as the walls. She described the work that they would do to repair and then paint the whole room. We picked out colors then and there. The day before the job, April gave us a reminder call. She and her crew showed up on time and got right to work. They ran into some unexpected damage and we were able to negotiate a fair price to include this work. We could have gone without it and stuck to the original estimate but it really needed to be done. While the drywall guy started on the repairs, they simultaneously started to prep the room for painting. They protected the furniture and the rest of the house as if it was their own. They did an excellent job on the repair and the painting and cleaned up everything before they left. I have already set a date to have them do some exterior painting for me. I will definitely be hiring them for my drywall and painting needs in the future.

I've used them before. They did a good job. They are very professional and showed up on time. They did exactly what I wanted and they helped me with some colors. They guarantee their work. The owners spoke English very well which is sometimes a problem when I am trying to do business with home remodeling companies so the communication was good.

She was great. She showed up when she said she would come out to do the estimate and finished the job ahead of schedule. She was very friendly and took up any project no matter if it was big or small. She breaks it off into manageable pieces. Her communication is superb. She lets you know what is happening at each step. The only drawback is that she doesn’t take credit card and she only takes check. She wasn’t the cheapest or the most expensive.

It went great. She has done much work in my home over the years and always does good work with a smile. She is honest, hard-working and priced very well. She also did a custom paint job in my little boy's room over a year ago... stripes, two-toned, railing and crown molding... very cute job!
