John and his crew were extremely prompt and fast, with immaculate attention to detail. John took our ideas and came up with a design that exceeded our imaginations. The final product is FANTASTIC. Best yard on the block!

Mr. Norris came out on Jan. 28 2013 and gave an estimate, and I told him that I wanted him to do the work. ( I had gotten other estimates before his and they were higher with less work to be done.) He told me when he got back to he office he would let me know when he could send his crew to do the job. He did call me that afternoon and told me they could begin the next morning if that was alright with me and I said it was fine. They showed up at 9:00 am and worked until 12:30pm and they did a phenominal job I could not ask for a better job. They were extremely precise about what they did. They started out digging for the drain line to be installed and then they started grading the dirt to drain to the drains and the put the rock down and cleaned out the flower beds and put mulch down. They even went as far as using some left over cement they used for the drain at the curb to fix the curb in front of my house that had been broken off by a car. I WAS IMPRESSED!!!!!!

Our new home was a blank canvas for the folks at Landscape & Design. I first met with John the owner to discuss what we had in mind for the property. Our lot is 1.3 acres so there was alot to discuss. John was very attentive during our meeting and suggested several modifications to our plan that we had not thought of. He was very professional, and we felt comfortable that he was trying to give us good advice and fair pricing.The sprinkler system was the first part of the project which included laying 32 pallets of sod once the system was installed. They were right on time and compleated this part when promised. Then they started the landscaping. John provided us with drawings prior to the installation, that included a list of plants to be used. The rock border was next and it matched the existing exterior of our new home perfectly. Last came the outdoor lighting and accent lighting. We could not be happier with the job and results of our projects. We literely have prople stop and compliment us on how great our home looks. The Home Builder in our subdivision even uses our Home to show prospective buyers. We could not be any more satisfied with the total experience.

I can't remember his name, but I think he is basically THE one who gives estimates. Anyway, he arrived at my house and I took him to my backyard. What I had in mind was a wood deck and/or pavers for a large portion of my backyard. I also was considering adding on to my existing roof to have a covered patio. The whole bit....bushes, flowers, water fountaln/wall....just go for it--make the backyard an oasis. (It's a compromise my husband I made based on moving or not--we don't move?...ok, then....oasis. :-) He seemed fairly nice and competent. As we were talking about what I had in mind, my husband came outside. At that point, he started directing his comments and conversation to him. He no longer talked to me. My husband even noticed and made a point to tell him that it was my baby, so to speak. He told him that I was the one that had the ideas and plans of what I wanted, not him.....he was just paying...wink, wink... I started talking about something, and I could see his frustration. I don't know what his deal was....did I make him mad somehow, is he just used to working with guys, did he have a fight with his wife that morning? Who knows. WHO CARES!!! The guy started saying things like, "you know this is gonna cost a lot." What? My husband is a pilot and my mother recently passed and left me a good deal of money. Did I say anything that made you think that I didn't know that a big project would cost a lot? Geez. Was he out to "protect" my husband?? (I told him the deal we had about not moving=oasis.) Naw, he is out to make money. That doesn't make sense. He asked for a survey of the yard so he could go back and draw up some plans and get back to me within three days. I gave him one and told him that I would email some pics I had saved in order to show him what style I had in mind. That is the last I ever heard from him. P.S. My daughter says he's lame. I agree.

They know what they are doing. I've used them for a little longer than 6 years. Every time I've asked questions, I've always got answers. When I needed landscaping done they were out immediately. They provided suggestions to minimize the overall costs for the projects.
