John returned my initial call quickly, gave me a proposal that he stuck to (no surprises), arrived on time, and finished on time. He took time to explain what should be done and the options available. He and his helper cleaned up and left the premises looking better than when he arrived.
He's also a resident of this neighborhood and knows these old houses well.
I will definitely call him again if I need an electrician.

I have used John Kuenstle Electric since 2012.  They have done some large extensive jobs for me and some smaller jobs (including most recent - replace ballast for $160 on 3/17/2015).  They are very good electricians and are very professional.  Whether large job or small, they give same level of quality service and attention.  I feel lucky to have found a company that provides such a high level of service.

He comes when he says he is going to and if he doesn't he calls and let me know that he is going to be late. This time, I had told him that I am not going to be at home, so he could go ahead and fix it and they went to the backyard and did it. I was out of town and it worked beautifully. He trusts me enough to do their work and have me pay him and I trust him enough to have him come in and do the work.

After we confirmed it was not the power company's problem, we contacted John Kuenstle on the Thursday afternoon before Good Friday. He confirmed someone would arrive between 8 and 10 on Good Friday. We were so happy when he did arrive around 9 a.m. He looked at the problem, identified issues with the installation of our meter breaker box. He gave us several options: 1) we could tighten up all the connections and hope it worked; 2) we could do 1 and also replace the expected problem area; or 3) we could tighten the connections and replace the entire box. He did note that the box was old and had failed at least 20 times in the last 3 months (our count). So we Since we plan to live here for many years, we decided to go with option 3. He had to leave to get the appropriate equipment and returned around 1 p.m. John was very professional throughout the entire process, going about his work efficiently. We were very pleased with his knowledge and willingness to provide several options. We will definitely call him again for some home improvements we plan to make in the near future.

Overall the job went very well because he actually reduced to the original proposal. He only did what we really needed to have done. So we appreciated that. We will use his services again in the future.

John Kuenstle determined the problem, made the repairs and replaced the incorrect parts in a workmanlike manner and in a very short time this long-running problem was efficiently and completely corrected. I have recommended Mr. Kuenstle to friends and family and would certainly use his services again .
