It went well. Michael is professional. He made sure everything was working well and said I should call him if there was a problem.

Prompt response to initial inquiry. Many appointment options. Arrived on time and immediately began assessing. Once the issues were identified repairs began immediately. Work was completed same day and in a timely manner. Repairs included locating valves, main water feed, replacing three valves, changed numerous sprinkler heads, adjusted spray pattern on all sprinkler heads and reprogrammed main system unit.

They worked very efficiently, finding and fixing the leak, then repairing the holes in the lawn and finishing in much less time than I thought it would take. At first I was nervous about their hourly charge and the fact our system had never been repaired in many years of use.But the total price ended up about half of what I thought it would be. That certainly doesn't happen often.

Excellent Service! From the time that I called and set up the appointment through the repair, it was a very pleasant experience. They spent the time to figure out what the problem was and to get it corrected. I would most definately recommend them to anyone who needs sprinkler repair work done!

Came out same day I called and was very prompt!! Was very knowledgable and had to equipment to locate the problem without having to experiment or guess. Job took about 2 1/4 hours. It was evident this company knows their business. He is about average in price.

Set up an appointment for Wed, but the Tuesday rains caused problems so rescheduled for Thursday morning at 10. They actually showed up at 9:30, listened to my requests and started to work immediately. We had a lot of landscaping in the front and back completed last week and I had concerns about the type of spray heads and the coverage we were getting from our existing system. They checked each zone, replaced 4 heads with risers, changed nozzles on 4 more heads, changed 4 pop-ups from 4" to 12", capped a head that was ineffective after installation of a new porch and found a leak that I wasn't aware of and repaired it. They did all of this in a little over 1 hour, cleaned up completeley and walked me through the work. The total cost was $225, but the Angie's list coupon brought that down to $202. I couldn't be happier and will have them do a tune up every year from now on.

The experience was great and we would defiantly use him again. Michael and his staff were prompt, courteous and cleaned everything up when done. We are extremely pleased with the work!

Amazing company! We noticed our sprinkler system was not working over the weekend. I called Michael on Monday afternoon, and asked if they could have someone come out to investigate. They took my number, and promised a call back within 15 minutes, as they were at a jobsite, and needed to check their calendar. I received a quick call back stating they could be here on Wednesday, my choice of morning or afternoon. I asked for after lunch. The day of service, I called them to confirm an exact time, as I needed to run an errand. I was told they would be here at 1. Sure enough, almost to the second! The guys were very professional. I explained the issue, and also told them of an additional issue(we had a zone that would never turn off). Our system was evaluated, fixed (with options provided), and they tweaked our sprayers and rotors since I mentioned it was a concern to me.Overall, our rain gauge had failed, causing our system to turn on. The guys fixed everything within 1 hour! They answered all my questions, and explained everything to me! Prices are great, and I will definitely call them again! Way to go!!!

They check with my husband to see what he thought had to be done. They then went ahead and did their own checking and called my husband out in the yard and went over each sprinkler and explained what had to be done and what will be done. Once given the go ahead they completed the job that same evening...about 7:00 PM they were finished. (oh they came out later in day so they could talk directly to my husband).

My husband and I contacted Michael at Irrigation Design Services after we were treated poorly by another company. Michael came out the same day to give us an estimate. He was quick and efficient in coming up with a plan. He had his crew out to our home the very next day with the permit required. His crew installed a 5 zone sprinkler system that covers our front and back yard. The city has been out to inspect the work and the crew promptly finished and cleaned up the sidewalks. The crew was very friendly and respectful while at our home and we will recommend Irrigation Design Services to anyone looking for a responsible and fair company.

The 2-man crew was on time, courteous, and very efficient. In and out in 45 minutes. Best of all: honest! Did not try to sell me things I did not need. Accepted the Angie's list 10% off coupon. Will definitely call them again. Highly recommend this company.

.They collected the leaves and did a great job of programming the sprinklers.

Job was performed on time and everything was properly cleaned up. Very pleasant workers and I am happy with the job they did.

Lee was professional, responsive and is extremely knowledgeable of irrigation designs/systems! He was very prompt to my request for a bid to install an irrigation system for my personal residents. He explained the bid for 5 separate zones as well as the process for installing the system. They were very accommodating with scheduling the install and were always quick to address my concerns and questions before/during/after the installation. I elected to post this on Angie's now however I'm still waiting for the documentation of my system - I will let you know when it is received.

Michael was one of several companies we received bids from for the installation of an automatic sprinkler system at our new house. With the drought several companies seemed to be taking advantage of high demand and ending up quoting substantially higher than Michael's quote. After validating the scope over the phone and submitting a plot plan to Michael via e-mail, he returned the next evening with a final quote and design, talk about prompt service. He also informed us he could pencil us in the next day for installation or he could wait depending on our preference. We were extremely happy to let him perform the work the following two days with intermittent check ins. The crew performed the work as designed within the quoted two days in the hottest days of summer, replaced all the sod that was dug up, and completed a proof test with my girlfriend present. Needless to say I was very impressed with Michael's responsiveness, timeliness, professionalism, and competence. His team was just as excellent and it was nothing but a positive experience for a good price.

In the midst of the drought in the Houston area, It was difficult to find someone reputable to install a sprinkler system on my 90 X 200 lot. Michael responded that he was booked during the limited time-frame that I gave him, but that he would call if an opening arose. It did, and he called. He came by and we agreed on the price for the 14 zones. He told me that the job would be done within 5 days and it was...even though we did have one of our few rainy days that interrupted the work. His men were diligent and courteous. Abraham, his on site crew chief, worked tirelessly. When the work was done,Michael explained the mechanics of the system and sent me a copy of the "plan" a few weeks later. Although, we have had a couple of issues with defective sensors( one before I received the plan), Michael has been responsive and has had someone replace the parts the day after I called. Two months later, my lawn looks healthy despite my limited watering due to the drought.I would recommend this company to others.

I thought Lee and Julio did a good job. They were knowedgeable, and courteous.

They agreed to come on a Saturday and were very accommodating as regards a time that was good for us. They spent quite a bit of time on the job and the charges were reasonable. The tech was easy to talk to and answered all our questions. Overall, the experience was good.

Here on time; total time spent 45 minutes; explained everything to my wife and then talked to my at the office to explain what they did; very professional and respectful to us.

Lee was the repair tech that came out on the initial emergency call for the repair of the one zones that had a failure. They arrived near the set appointment time and gave me a call 30 minutes before to let me know they were in route to my house but might be delayed a little due to traffic. I did not have a good map of the original system so they had to search for the damaged valve location in order to diagnose the problem. Once the valve was found they diagnosed the problem and determined the solution would require a full crew. Lee called Michael explained the situation and they gave me an estimate for the work. Next they scheduled a full crew to be out the next day to perform the job. They notified me when they arrived on the job and contacted me when they were about finished so I could return home and inspect the work. Job required them to rerouted main line and install 2 new valves to solve the problem with the failed valve. Problem was that it was located under a driveway installed 5 years previously that should have been moved by that contractor. Once the valves were repaired they also had to replace all the pipe to set the heads for the repaired zone; they also added one new sprinkler head for better coverage. Since the cutting of the main line cut off water flow to another zone they had to set a second valve and run the main line down the driveway in order to supply water to the 2nd zone. Again the relocated one sprinkler head and installed another head for additional coverage. while they waited for me to arrive and inspect the system the reset and inspected the other zones in my sprinkler system for proper settings and coverage. Michael was at the house and reviewed the work done with me, we tested the system and he explained the other items changed as result of the inspection. He made recommendations on my system settings provided me with an invoice and we wrapped up our business. They did a good job and were very professional and communicated well throughout the entire process. I think the price was very reasonable as I asked them to come out and tackle the job right away do to the heat and strain my yard was under as the system had already been down for almost a week. I would definitely hire them again and will recommend them to friends and neighbors.
