I called Michael on Saturday 05/18/31. He gave me an appointment between 10 and 11am Tuesday 05/21/31. On Tuesday Morning he called me about 9:00am and said he finished his previous job early and ask if he come now. I said that was fine, and Michael and helper were in my yard working by 9:20am. They repaired the broken pipe and checked all the sprinkler heads, zone by zone, to make sure they were functioning properly. He raised some heads because they were to low, and changed the spray pattern on the heads by the driveway so they would stop wetting up my cars. He also replaced a missing part on my rain gauge for free. This was beyond excellent service. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

Overall, this was a good experience, and I would use this provider again. They came out for free and gave us an estimate after looking at the system. There was a lot wrong with this sprinkler system, and they patiently answered all our questions. We then scheduled the repair to take place a few days later. Unfortunately, there was a little mix-up on the day of the repair. We were supposed to get a call that the workers were running behind, but we didn't. Instead, when our window came and went, I had to call to find out what was going on. Despite this hiccup, I still give them an A.

My usual experience with other companies is that they don't listen to anything I asked them to do and they do their own thing. However, the guy from Irrigation Design treated me so nice. When they came out, they asked me specifically what it was I wanted done. They did not charge for the service fee, which most companies do. They were very quick. It took them about an hour and half. Their price was extremely reasonably for the work they did. They did what I asked them to do and they did it with it with a smile.

I called on Monday and they were able to get me on the schedule for the next day. They were on-time, polite, professional; and quickly replaced the sprinkler head. I will definitely call them again for any issues with our irrigation system.

From the first phone call I made, I could tell Michael was professional, honest, and dependable. My sprinkler system was not working. He gave me a date and time, showed up earlier than scheduled, and had it fixed within the hour. A valve needed to be replaced and he fixed the system right away. I was pleasantly surprised when Michael tried to troubleshoot the system during the very first call. He was extremely helpful from the very first minute. I highly recommend this company. A++++

I was extremely pleased with the level of service and the price. After attempting to schedule an appointment with a couple of other companies that were recommended by independent ratings agencies (free online web sites/mailings to our home) I finally found Angie's List and it is well worth the membership fee. The other companies I contacted via the other methods did not keep their appointments and never called back to reschedule or apologize for wasting my precious time. In contrast Irrigation Design Services provided excellent communication, arrived prior to their scheduled time and performed the work quickly. Their pricing was on the lower range of phone estimates I had received from other companies.

I made an appoint for 11am on a Tuesday. Michael called early on that morning and was able to arrive at 9:15am. Both he and his assistant were uniformed and presented a professional appearance. The 6 zone 20 year old sprinkler system was analyzed and then worked over to fit the need of the current landscape configuration. Damaged heads were replaced. Some heads were changed out to control the water flow more efficiently. Over grown heads were dug up and raised. I will certainly recommend Irrigation and Design Services to all of my friends and neighbors.

It went extremely well. The cost was cheaper than I expected. I will definitely use them again.

After reviewing Angie's List, I selected (3) highly rated irrigation and drainage contractors to provide and review my irrigation and drainage scope of work and submit their proposals. I ultimately selected IRRIGATION DESIGN SERVICES (IDS) based on Michael?s proposal, ability to answer questions, availability, warranty, flexibility, payment options and professionalism. I made it clear to Michael that IDS was not the lowest price proposal but selected them on the factors mentioned above. (This is why I gave Price a "B"). In addition, I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for and made it clear to all (3) contractors that price was not going to be the overall deciding factor. Michael and David arrived several times to meet with me to review the design and make minor changes to the design as well as alternative suggestions. They answered all of my questions that I had and were very prompt in their scheduled meeting times. The installation crew was very professional and kept the work area very neat. It has been almost 1 month since the installation and you cannot see where the installation trenches were as they did an excellent job with preserving the sod during removal and reinstallation. Everyone that I met and observed with IDS was uniformed and very professional. I'm very satisfied with their professionalism, price and quality of work performed. I highly recommend IDS. It is refreshing to work with a contractor that is committed to customer, service and quality. Great job by Michael and the rest of his team.

They came the same day, they called a ahead of time to let me know what time to expect them. I had to run to school to pick my children up and they waited for me. They did an outstanding job, very polite on time, great price. Will be calling them again.

After reviewing IRRIGATION DESIGN SERVICES on Angie's List, I called and spoke with Michael. We made an appointment for him to come out and see what the problem was. Michael and David arrived on time, evaluated the problem and gave me an estimate for the repairs. They were able to do the work immediately. They replaced the valves and inspected the entire system. I'm very satisfied with their professionalism, price and quality of work performed.

Valves were buried, but they found them quickly and repaired them. They also explained how the system works since we just moved into the house. Very helpful and were able to come out next day.

When I called them it was the owner that actually answered the phone and let me know someone would return my call within an hour and someone was at my house really quickly. They were extremely professional from the phone call to the way they conducted themselves at my house. They were also very knowlegable about their work.

The techs showed up on time - I explained the problem and they worked, unsupervised, for four hours and completed the service. Ince finished they called me and I paid with a credit card over the phone.

I don't need another irrigation company. Irrigation Design Services were impeccable.

We had a leak somewhere in our sprinkler system that was creating a literal mud pit in our backyard. We had used this company before to fix a broken sprinkler PVC pipe so we had no hesitate in using them again. The representative came out and quickly identified the problem and fixed it on the spot - it was a broken valve. It took less than an hour and our system was working perfectly and the leak was fixed.

I picked this company because they were one of the few companies that work on Saturdays. The reason Saturday is so important is that my husband wanted to be present to explain the issues about the existing irrigation system (the system was in place when we bought the house) and to understand how the zones work since we were unable to get one zone functional. The company was prompt, fixed the broken rotary sprayer and modified all sprayers where needed. They walked my husband through the zones and made recommendations for watering cycles and time limits. They left a sticker on our control box so if we had future problems and questions to give them a call. Over all, we were pleased with their results and appreciated their recommendations and time to explain the system. We would definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others.

I have had others work on my sprinkler system & drainage in the past. I feel like I finally found the company that fixed my problems! They are great! They responded to my e-mail by giving me a phone call the same day. A time was set up quickly to work on the sprinkler system, and an estimate was given on the drainage issues. Another date was set quickly for the work to be done. They were on time, worked quickly and efficiently. I am very pleased!

Our sprinkler system didn't seem to be performing adequately. We called and were able to set up an appointment with Mr. Carrizales to fit our schedule. They arrived on time and quickly diagnosed those issues that needed to be corrected. Punctual, professional, courteous and friendly.

I cannot say enough good things about these guys! Michael was very responsive to all of my requests, explained the quote, and priced the work in three parts in case I needed to do the job separately. He went above and beyond to complete the job in January at my request (for budgetary reasons). His workers were respectful and hard-working. They notified me on their progress before they left each day and came out on Saturday to complete the job. They cleaned up the job site and walked me through the use of the system. They also did some work pulling out existing flowerbeds and laying sod. I am completely satisfied with the work and would recommend them without reservation.

The work was done on time and in a professional manner. We originally thought we were only dealing with damaged sprinker heads. When IDS was discovered that the drain pipe was heavily damaged, Michael notified me, gave me an estimate for the additional repair work and said that his crew could come back the next business day to repair the drain (they repaired the broken sprinkler head the first day). I agreed to have Michael's crew do the drain pipe repair. The crew showed up on time and repaired the drain pipe.
