Estimate went well, price beat the other bids by a good margin. Mike and crew showed up right on time and installed the system at least 1 month earlier than the other bidders said they could. Very knowledgeable and responsive when I had questions. The system seems to work well so far. I would recommend them and use them again.

I have used Irrigation Design Services twice. The first time was January 2014. They did a system check and replaced some of the old sprinker heads. They were punctual anf did an excellent job. The second time was May 12, 2014. There was a bad leak over the weekend. I called Irrigation Design Services Monday morning and explained my situation to them. Michael and his assistant Jon were able to fit me into their busy schedule and stopped by my house within an hour to do the repair. They were able to pin point the problem right away and the repair was done within one and a half hours. Michael and Jon were pleasant, courteous, and very professional. They answered all my questions and they gave me a great price. (Thanks to Angie's List for member's discount.) I would highly recommend Irrigation Design Services. They are just wonderful. Guys were professional. They did an excellent and diligent job. They did show up a little late. But I would definitely use them again and recommend to them to anyone. Pricing was better than expected.

A phone number snafu delayed my appointment by one day, but Michael and his helper were prompt and very efficient. They addressed every issue I brought up and resolved everything to my satisfaction. At time of payment, I forgot to supply the coupon from the website, but was overall pleased with the repair and the experience.

The fix went perfect. He explained the issue with me thoroughly and went through step by step what he needed to do to fix it. I even asked if there was anything I could've done to prevent this but unfortunately, it was just an old pipe and wear & tear got the best of it. Additionally, they even came back for a follow-up when I noticed that water was still leaking. They were nice to make a complimentary house call to tell us that everything was fine - it was just the residual water resulting for 24+ hrs of leakage. The only thing I would say that was a bit spotty was the pricing. I was told that the rate was $80-90/hr and that the part was around $20-30. When I asked for the quote after diagnosis, he told me $150-175, which was confusing because I figured he would've had an exact number by then and not a range. They charged me the higher number in the range but the time it took them to finish the job was less than an hour so I really couldn't add up the total. At the end of the day, I was fine with the amount I paid because it was a big headache that was affecting my surrounding neighbors and they did a fantastic job on the repair. I just hope there is more transparency into the pricing next time.

When he was apparently going to be a no-show this morning, I called Michael. He again had no recollection of his promised appointment or even of ever speaking with me. I had given him address details, scope of requested services and contact phone numbers. . I can't do business this way.

Unresponsive. Customers should not have to send 4 messages on Angie's List and leave a voicemail over the course of a week. Do not use this vendor, find someone else more punctual.

I have used them twice and they showed up on time, fixed the problems quickly and the price was good as well. I am about to use them again.

I called MICHAEL CARRIZALES and hired Irrigation Design Services to repair a broken sprinkler pop-up sprayer pouring water down the driveway. Two of his employees arrived on schedule two mornings later. I also asked them to inspect the nozzles installed by the previous owner with incorrect spray patterns (e.g., 180-deg in a 90-deg corner spraying the house or sidewalk), and the failed-off rain sensor. I was afraid that adding these new requirements to the original pop-up repair would cause them to extend their stay to 2-3 hours at $85/hour. To my pleasant surprise, they easily finished everything I asked for in 1 hour, so the cost was $85 labor + $140 parts = $225 less the 10% discount (Angie's List coupon), or $202.50. My sprinkler system is much improved, now with better coverage and little water wasted on the driveway, sidewalk and house walls due to the previous owner's poor nozzle selections. I would recommend IDS' prompt, professional service.

GREAT company!!! A+++++Michael came out and gave me a quote and was very prompt. Michael and his crew really know what they are doing. Hand dug my yard and the system was up and working in two days. Left my yard clean. Very professional crew and always here at the time they said they would be. Offered a coupon on Angie's list. I highly recommend this company!!! Called Michael to locate and repair a water leak in my sprinkler stations. He and John, his helper (and nephew) quickly determined station 4 to be the problem and fixed the station leak. Then, while testing, found where a previous sprinkler repair had been poorly done, causing it to separate and massively leak. They dug it out, repiped the bad connection and repaired a couple of harness wires that had been previously cut and spliced back together. In and out in about 2 hours. I was very impressed with their approach and the attention to detail shown throughout their work. Even something as mundane as digging was done with care. I'll certainly keep IDS's number handy should additional problems show up.

Provider was supposed to show up to preform the work (3/17/14) and never called or showed up. I called them back to find out what happen and they said that I must have fell through the cracks. We rescheduled the service to be done on 4/11/14, needless to say they didn't show up or call. When I contacted the owner AGAIN! he had no idea who I was then proceeded to say "he was sorry and they've been backed up" lol I think this is a sign for me to avoid them like a plague. My guess is they must have bigger(money) jobs lined up and didn't have enough consideration to call and reschedule mines ($650) lol

I have been having a problem getting a sprinker company to repair by small system (6 sprinkler heads) until I called this company. I called Monday at 8am and the phone was answered. I was asked if Wedmesday would be okay, I said yes. Monday afternoon the Company called and said they could be out on Tuesday morning before 12 pm. I agreed and was told they would call 30 minutes before they come out. They called and arrive within 30 minutes. They cleaned the spinker heads, opened a closed float and capped one head that was longer needed. I paid minimum amount that they required. I recommend them to anyone that needs sprinkler system repair.

It went pretty well. They got here within the promised time and went right to work. Discovered several heads that needed replacement or repair and, most importantly, they discovered and repaired a broken PVC pipe that was causing low pressure for the sprinkler system and wasting a lot of water. The only reason that I gave them a "B" on quality is because right after they left, I found two heads that weren't working and had to call them back. Luckily, they hadn't gotten too far away and turned right back and fixed them.

Went perfectly. this is the 2nd time I have used them and both times were flawless. Responsive, timely, good service, did what they said they would when they said they would do it.

They were on time, professional and completed the job quickly. They are priced reasonably and I'm very happy with the outcome. This is the third time I have used them in the past year and a half (for different issues) and I haven't been disappointed yet. Thank-you IDS! And Angie's List for helping me find them!

Excellent service. Easy to schedule, they showed up on time, did the work that was needed, checked a couple of other things as well. Did a nice job of cleaning up the areas that they had to dig out.

Easy to schedule, called 30 minutes ahead of arrival as previously discussed. Arrived on time and performed the service. I have had Irrigation Design Services do work before, adjusting sprinklers after purchasing home, winterizing this past December and now getting it started up again. It has always been a smooth experience. I believe the prices have been reasonable.

He was really good and very reasonable. He did what he said he would for the price he said he would do it for. He came out on a cold wintery day when everyone else was shut down. The work was done efficiently and competently. We are completely satisfied with the work that was done and the price that we paid. All As for Irrigation Design.

I had two estimates, but chose Mike Carrizales because of his experience and knowledge. I appreciated that he didn't try to upsell when I asked about a drainage issue. His crew was punctual, fast, and left the yard looking hardly disturbed.

A+ service. Called them Sunday evening, by Monday noon the sprinklers were fixed. I'm a repeat customer!

wanted an update to our sprinker system, two added sprinkler heads and a review of the computer box that runs the system. We are very pleased with the results and will use them again.

They were really timely and they did a good job. They were really good. They found out it was valves that caused the problem. The previous company that put this thing in used crappy valves. The system kept on running and it never shut itself off. This guy was doing this for years and he knew what to look for and where to go. He replaced the problem in half an hour and got it all fixed. This is the second time we’ve used him for the same reason. They came out the same day we called him and that's pretty impressive.
