Ernesto did a great job cleaning up our second lot, adding drainage and fencing our yard. His pricing was fair and the work was pretty quick. A few small issues along the way but overall great job. Would hire again!

I will be hiring Ernesto again! I had them install a concrete driveway and they did an excellent job. He was able to start the job right away and finish without delay. The best thing is how communicative he was. He would call me every night to update me on their progress and what the plan was moving forward. He even sent me pictures and videos once the project was complete (I was at work).

We hired his crew for two brick and mortar retaining walls, driveway extension, and complete redo of our front area including decorative brick patio, gravel and large pave stone work, flower beds, and drainage. His crew arrived on time every day, and was done with the entire project on time. Price was fair and upfront, no surprises at the end, and excellent value. Our neighbors stop and gush over the landscaping, and we enjoy our front yard turned into a bit of Tuscany. Hire him- you wonâ t be disappointed.

Ernesto and the entire Fernandez Landscaping Team are excellent. They have a moto that says â Our main goal is to meet the expectations of our customers and make their yards the bestâ that moto should be changed to they exceed customer expectations because they really go out of their way to do the best possible job they can. I had a large patio area that was covered by a wood deck that was rotten and needed to be replaced. I also had a bad drainage issue from the gutters. My wife and I decided to have the wood deck removed and replaced by pavers. We started to research companies and had several estimates when I called Fernandez Landscaping. Ernesto, the owner came to give us an estimate. We found him to be a very impressive young man with a great attitude. He has a lot of experience with Pavers and knew exactly what was needed to make our Patio look great. He also knew what needed to be done to fix our drainage issues. After meeting Ernesto, my wife and I decided to go with them and we are so happy that we did. This was a pretty large Patio area that was done with a retaining wall and total drainage system. It was a big job, but not at all difficult for this Team. The Patio Pavers installers were some of the best workers I have ever seen they were Technically proficient, highly professional, courteous, respectful and did their best to clean up the area as they went. They were a pleasure to be around. Ernesto came and checked on the progress, but didnâ t need to be here as often because this Team was excellent. End result is a beautiful back yard and Patio that we wanted and could not be any happier. The Pavers look fantastic and no more drainage issues is a major plus. I highly recommend Fernandez Landscaping to anyone looking to install Pavers or a yard drainage system.

I put my info for service on home advisor and was contacted by Ernesto from Fernandez landscaping. He came out and at first, was acting normal and told me he could do my leveling on my backyard done the right way and could do it in two days. We agreed on a price and we scheduled a date. He told me he required to be paid half of the $1500.00 upfront and to be paid the other half after the job was done. I texted him one day asking for a receipt as soon as I paid him the $750.00. His reply was asking me why donâ t I trust him for asking for a receipt? I was thrown off by this and thought that this was a reasonable thing to ask for a receipt once you pay for a service. This was the first red flag. We were scheduled to do the job on a Monday. he texted me the Sunday before saying he had an emergency and canâ t do until Tuesday. On Tuesday when he showed up with his crew he was very rude to me and argumentative about the measurements that we already agreed upon. Also he had told me initially during the estimate that he would use a front loader and take off my fence to get it through and use that to level. His crew showed up with shovels and I felt something would not work out with that since that wasnâ t what we agreed upon. Come to find out they never dug the ground level as agreed upon. They just dug the grass up a few inches and tried to cover it up with sand. When I asked Ernesto questions to learn more and gain clarity he would yell and argue with me and become irate. After the first day he tries to lie to me and tell me the work he had completed was level and ready for the pool to be set up on the area. It was easy to tell it was not level. I had my neighbor and my wife come and look as well as an above ground social media group all confirming this job was done unsafe and not the right way. This was very stressful and concerning to me. I couldnâ t even have a civil and reasonable conversation with Ernesto to understand why he was not doing the job the right way. He refused to dig it level and made up excuses as to why he would not do what we agreed to. He yelled at me in front of my wife and child screaming that I just needed to find another contractor. He came back Thursday and told me that I needed to find another company to finish the job and that he is only trying to help me out is the reason why he is here. I am pretty sure me paying him for a job is the reason why he is supposed to do it right. He then told me he had more important things to go do than deal with me and my project. I then had a pool company come out and assess the disaster that was our yard. they confirmed it was done horribly and incorrect and unsafe. This made me feel so stressed and cheated that I paid him to do the job unsafe and not the right way when I was sold to by him that he would do it right. I need this to be resolved, but I do not wish to speak with Ernesto any longer, as he is very rude and verbally unprofessional on how he speaks to his customers. Please beware of him and know that he has a short fuse and a temper with absolutely no customer service. Also be aware that he will tell you one thing and promise it, but will deceive you and mislead you all while being way over priced just like the sprinkler incident with Alex in the other review. Seems there have been several of the same issues I had with other people on here that Ernesto talked to with such disrespect and yelling with trying to cover up why the job does not get done right. I should have read all the reviews before hiring him. I need home advisor to help me with this and people need to know.

A great experience. We hired Ernesto Fernandez and his business Fernandez Landscaping originally to put in a flagstone patio in our backyard. The entire experience was over the top excellent-including quality, timeliness, cleanliness, friendliness, professionalism, and just down to earth honesty. The original small project went so well that we continued the work and more than doubled the size of the flagstone patio in the back yard, added a magnificent patio structure to cover it, added a flagstone and brick fire pit, replaced fencing, added backyard landscaping and trellis work, and refinished existing backyard concrete to create a fantastic backyard living space. This project went so well that we continued and totally re-did our curb appeal in the front of the house by extending our brick front porch and replacing the concrete front walk to match the front porch. Fernando also redid all the front landscaping with flagstone and brick to tie it all in. And to round out this current work, we bordered the driveway with flagstone. We will use Fernandez Landscaping for all our future improvement needs. Ernesto was very good to work with. He is a good listener, doesn t force his ideas on you, but offers good advice and suggestions as needed. He kept in constant contact with us either by text, phone, or in person. It was nice to work with someone we trusted, including his employees.
