 + -1 moreHe did not take into consideration the topography of my front yard and how the previous sidewalk was laid. As a result, the new sidewalk is 6-9 inches lower than the adjacent lawn and I am now having to go to the effort and expense to regrade the lawn. I wish I had been there when the work was done. I wish he had spoken with me or considered the topography. The sidewalk looks nice but is causing me a lot more work as a result.
Description of Work: I contracted Mr. Jones to demolish an existing, crumbling sidewalk and pour a new one that was wider.

concrete repair
 + -1 moreVery shortly after they poured and finished the concrete, it rained and ruined their nice work. Mr. Jones came back out when the rain stopped and fixed it for free! They left no mess and are very honest and fair. He has been doing concrete for many, many years.
Description of Work: Mr. Jones removed, with a jackhammer, my front stoop and part of the sidewalk. Then he and his helper poured new concrete in both places. He even matched the color of the pea gravel with the sidewalk perfectly.
