We were misled, lied to, and outright the victims of gross incompetence and fraud. I should have sued them because I subsequently had to hire another AV company to fix the countless things these bozos screwed up. The problem is that their technical people are incompetent and don't really care. I ended up paying an additional $25,000 to a later company fix the scores of things Electronic Nightmares messed up. Right from the start, the system never worked. It was complex and was supposed to be multi-functional. Music, Intercom, satellite, DVDs, gaming etc. Unbeknownst to me, they installed the wrong kind of cable, the wrong kind of connections, and did not program the system correctly. On top of that, they would show up less than 50% of the time when I called them for service (which was weekly--I ended up spending another $4000-$5000 in service calls only to never have the system working properly). The "technicians" they sent were low paid workers who had some idea of how the system was supposed to work, but could never solve the problems with this system. Do NOT be fooled by their sales pitch (I certainly was). They ask you to come to their showroom and have you sit in their theatre and overwhelm you with their large screen and surround sound. It is impressive, but your system will never work as well as that. Electronic nightmares ended up costing me over $30,000 above the original $80,000 I paid them. These guys are no good. Stay away

Terrible. These guys don't care at all about their customers.
Description of Work: I've used them sveral times over a couple of year, but have always found them unresponsive. Recently, I had one of my worst customer experiences ever. It took several phone calls to get them to come out to do some repairs and upgrades. When they finally arrived, they needed two guys but only had one, so said they would call to reschedule. They didn't call. Over the next two weeks, I made six calls, three of which went to voice mail and weren't returned. They unilaterally cancelled my next appointment and simply didn't show up for the one after that. When I called to fin out what had happened, they said their guy had gone on vacation, so they would put me on the schedule for the next Monday and call to confirm. They did neither. I finally fired them. To be avoided at all costs.

Contacted Lee to set up an appointment in late May for someone to come to my house to get an estimate to wire my living room and patio for surround sound, using my pre-exisitng speakers and receiver. Made the appointment for June 4th, at 1pm. No one showed up but got a call from lee after 2pm saying the estimator got tied up in a meeting and lost track of time so wasnt going to show up that day. We re-scheduled for the following day a bit earlier around 11:30. Lee said he would call back if that time was a problem. Never received the call so assumed someone would be showing up at my house. No one ever did and I did not receive a call saying they couldn't come. Never heard from them again. My guess is they thought the job was too samll for them, but did not have the professional courtesy to let me know they coulnd't or wouldnt give me a bid. If I was spending the $20K the other reviewer spent, maybe they would have helped me out.

I called Electronic Dreams. Lee answered the phone, he runs the front office and is more than helpful. He set up an appt for the owner, Rick to come to our home and bid the project. He asked that we come to their office where he could show us in more detail what we'd be getting. We went and were hooked:) He scheduled a time for his team to come out. They were here on time, stayed through the day, cleaned up after themselves and returned the next two days until the project was finished. We had a few glitches that they came out and fixed the same day I called. I can't sing enough praises for these guys. Everything works like a dream (no pun intended:). One perk of having someone who knows what their doing come in and do your system, other than great sound ---- NO WIRES in unfavorable places. I'd use these guys again in a heart beat. Actually we will be for another project very soon.
Description of Work: We had a big project that we needed done at our house and didn't have a recommendation from anyone. We just by chance lucked into this company. Wes, Aaron, Wes #2 (and one other man, sorry, don't remember his name:/ came to the house and installed an outside TV and sound outside, they updated our networking inside our home, installed a TV lift in our bedroom and upgraded our sound system throughout.
