+ -1 moreI was more than impressed with the professionalism of Be Ayyash and his crew. From the initial meeting to discuss his proposal to the final cleanup, I was extremely satisfied. Be was punctual, friendly, polite, thorough and accomplished in every aspect of the job and I will definitely call him when the rest of the fence needs to be replaced. The job took a couple of days and they left the area clean and neat. I was very pleased with his pricing and loved the fact that he offered a 10% senior discount. Of the three proposals I received, his was the only company that agreed to help us cut the cost by using some of the existing posts which were installed in a concrete area and were still in great shape. I liked the fact that they used screws instead of nails, that all joints were reinforced with metal brackets and that Be chooses each board that will be installed so there are no huge unsightly knotholes. Everyone who has seen the fence is impressed and my neighbor is very pleased as well. I highly recommend this company--you will not regret it!
Description of Work: Damar Co. replaced one side of a rotted fence between my house and my neighbor's with a new cedar fence and installed a new custom gate for the neighbor.

+ -1 moreDamar was punctual when they came out to bid on the job. They used top quality wood slats for the fence. The new fence looks great. They also did a great job of cleaning up the old fence and the trash from the new fence. Another great thing was how quickly they put up the new fence.They were not the cheapest bid, but they were the best. I would definitely recommend them to any homeowner needing a new fence.
Description of Work: Two thirds of our fence in the backyard plus the gate needed to be replaced.

He kept me updated on the project during the day with texts and photographs. Afterward he thoroughly cleared the work area of any scrap material or wood dust. I would definitely use Damar Co again.

I could not have asked for a more professional job and was extremely pleased with the quality of DAMAR CO and my new fence. In fact, I had recently moved and was encouraged to use Angie's List by my son. I had already gotten an estimate for my fence from another company, but thought it would be a good idea to get another. I am thankful that I did. Be Ayyash and his co-worker brought samples of their work and emphasized that they did professional work and guaranteed their work. Many of my friends have complemented me on the quality and workmanship of the fence and the gate which was reinforced with L brackets. They also used screws instead of nails on the entire project.! The crew, including Be was on time, extremely polite and left my property clean. I would highly recommend DAMAR.CO !

Description of Work: Be responded quickly with an estimate to rebuild one of the sections of fence in my backyard. It's a privacy fence with one of my neighbors. His proposal was very detailed and we discussed the requirements that I had partnered with my neighbor. I also drove through the neighborhood and looked at several examples of his past work. We agreed on a date, weather permitting. Be and his team worked all day long and completed the job in one day which is what he told me! All the fence was assembled using deck screws instead of nails. The new fence is 10 times better quality than the fence he replaced and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. The results demonstrated the proposal estimate was accurate and I am pleased as a customer. Be was also very good in interfacing with my neighbors who shared the fence. His work product matched his claims and exceeded my expectations. Also, his team did an excellent job cleaning up after the job. Be was really an agreeable contractor to work with. I will definitely use him again in the future for the other sections/gates in my yard. These guys were not the lowest bid I received, but the quality, no hidden costs, and schedule was worth it. Thank you!

+ 1 morewow! they came, they measured, they remembered me from pressurewashing my driveway last year. They quoted, they called 811, they made sure that was completed, and let me add my neighbor's gate without asking for more deposit. They came and worked all day on it. They dug up the old posts instead of cutting them off, they put in beautiful planks for the fencing, with extra supports and rot board. They build the gates in place (so guaranteed to fit) from scratch and they are SOLID - these are not your traditional gates They have horizontal supports as well as some iron brackets built into the support.. They carried everything away, including the cement from the old posts It is a good idea to be home while they are working, as they blew the GFCI a couple of times and needed me to reset it. An absolutely beautiful job for (what i think is) a reasonable price. Totally hassle free.

(In fact his responsiveness and professionalism won our contract). He showed up on the agreed-to day, did the agreed-to work very nicely and charged us what he said he would. This company is why I am glad to be an Angie's list member-- we all win with good work. Thanks Damar Co and Be!
Description of Work: Replaced 70 feet of fence, including 2x6" Rot board with exterior screws using new Western Red Cedar Pickets. All material was handpicked from a local lumber yard and was of excellent quality. After a prompt, visual consultation, "Mr. Be" from Darmar Co made a few astute suggestions which we put into the contract. He took away the old fencing and cleaned up the worksite nicely. No surprises or unexpected add-ons to the bill.

Description of Work: I have a beautiful new kitchen thanks to Be and George. Granite counter tops, new sink and fixture installation, even a granite window sill. + 0 moreI had a section of fence leaning over pretty far after a storm so I called to get an estimate for repair. He was very punctual and very professional. He measured and looked at fence. As he tested it he informed me that the fence still had a good couple years left in it. I felt he was very honest instead of just saying, "Yeah, you need a new fence." He provided the quote for me any way. As he finished up he set up my one little area of fencing and screwed it back together for me. I tried to pay him for his time and he wouldn't accept it. When I do need a new fence, he will be the one I call. Make sure to have him explain the way he installs fences, it sounds so much more stable and above average quality. I believe his fence will stand the test of time.

The new fence is better than the fence it replaced. These guys were not the lowest bid I received, but I was impressed with the pictures of past work and the claims of quality they put into their work. The results demonstrated those claims were valid and I am pleased as a customer. Be was also very good in interfacing with my wife and the neighbors who shared the fence. His work product matched his claims and my expectations. He did a good job cleaning up after the work was complete and was very responsive to a few requests for minor adjustments to gate springs, cleaning,etc. I would definitely use him again in the future if I need additional fencing work done.

We accepted his bid and were put on his calendar to begin work in 2-3 weeks. The owner was able to begin replacing the fence within the time frame that he had set. He tore down my previous fence and hauled off the remains. The new fence went up quickly and was for finished within 3 days. The wood used for the fence is solid. The workmanship is excellent on the fence. My husband and I are both pleased with the professionalism and integrity displayed when working with this company.

+ -1 moreit did not go well, because the price was much more than what we expected at the time of the purchase of the big del. So we requested a refund and got someone else to do the entire fence much cheaper.
Description of Work: Once the provider came out to do the estimate. The area covered was much smaller than expected and the additional pricing was very expensive. In the deal it indicated it would cover a standard size yard, but when they came out it was a much higher price than the deal.
