Damar Co.

Because Be and his crew had previously done such a great job on my fencing, I decided to hire him again for the installation of new Laminate wood flooring. Be and his guys worked very hard and took their time to ensure that I would be pleased. He finished the job in two days (approx. 1800 sq ft) and now my floors look amazing! I will definitely continue to hire Damar Co. (Be) again and again! I have finally found a contractor who is excited about working and does what he says he will do.

Not only did they do an excellent job in pressure washing; protecting my plants along the side of the area; they cleaned additional areas as a "surprise" to me. After they finished, I came out and saw areas of the brick sidewalks, areas of the siding on the house and support columns also cleaned, with no additional charge. I was delighted and the owner said he just wanted to see me "happy"! I've never dealt with workers who cared so much for the perfection of their work as well as the satisfaction of the customer. I have had them out twice now and trust them completely to give me a fair price and do excellent work.

I believe the price was very fair and competitive. I was impressed with their level of communication, timeliness and quality of work. Rain postponed the project a few times and the owner was very responsive and accommodating in rescheduling. Also, I like that they only use screws and not nails. I would definitely hire Damar Co. again. My neighbor was impressed with his new gate as well. They are working on getting me a price for a tile job, I look forward to potentially hiring them again.

Contacted the company and got a date setup for the work to be done, my neighbors had broken some boards on their side of the fence and left it that way for weeks. I decided to have it done but just a few days before the scheduled repair the neighbors finally fixed the fence. I called to cancel the job and got a refund without any problems.

Be is a true professional and very prompt. He always answers the phone when you call and he is eager to do the job right! We continue to do business with Be and his crew!

We needed a custom fence to match a fence we had around a deck area, but we also needed suggestions. We had the basic idea, but he knew just how to make it look perfect as the fence met our front porch. He did this work in less than two days, working very hard, paying attention to every detail. He also cleaned up debris that I thought we would have to take care of! Because the work was custom and we did not use the usual materials, he searched for the fencing boards we needed at the best price. In addition, after being told that we had guests visiting soon, he came and did our work on a weekend to meet our schedule. He stayed in touch through calls and texts and was very respectful throughout the time of our contact.

Be and his team did an excellent job with the work. When building the fence, Be dug the holes by hand in order to avoid getting too close to the gas or electric lines for the pool equipment, used screws vs. nails throughout the fence, and used a beautiful cedar without any knots. He built a gate to uniquely accommodate the fence. The team was punctual, professional, and completed the work in one day as planned. We had a chain link fence and chain link dog run from the previous owners that we wanted to remove. Be not only removed them for a fair price, he found someone to haul them away, and cut down and removed all of the weeds and shrubs that had overgrown in the dog run. This is the third time I have used Be, and will continue to do so. He is a perfectionist at his work and it shows in the results. I highly recommend him for fencing, power washing, garage floor painting, and any other home improvement projects.

I had to leave to go to the Medical Center shortly after he returned with the additional materials needed to complete the job and did not return until after dark so I am not sure how long he and his partner were at my house but they did an excellent job. He used screws instead of nails & put a third reinforcement rail on the replaced fence section that?s was vulnerable to wind damage and replaced hinges and latches and realigned gates so they opened & closed better than before the storm damage. They cleaned up and removed all old fencing and parts such that you could not tell they were even there except that everything was new and working. I was very pleased with the work and the price from Damar Co. and would definitely hire them again.

from the very first time I called Be Ayyash, he was professional and very responsive. He came by my house the same day that I called to inspect the project and provided a written proposal stating the material to be used and timeframe for completion. Although this was a project that could have been done when I was not home, I let him know that I wanted to be there when he arrived. he text the day before he started the project to let me know what time he would be there. He text again within 30 minutes of his arrival. upon review of the lock/latch he planned to use for the gate, I asked if he could use a black lock to match the lock on the other side of our house. at first he stated that all he had was the steel gray lock that came with the kit and it would take some time for him to get back with a black lock. I was anxious to get the job completed so I agreed to the steel gray lock. however, upon completion of the project Be decided the black lock/latch would look better and said he would try to come back within 2 days. Be arrived as he stated within 2 days and attached the black lock. I am very pleased with the outcome of the project and the professionalism and consideration shown by Be. I highly recommend Be and would use him in the future for other services.

I received Bes information from a neighbour he was replacing a fence for behind my house. I talked with Be at my house during construction of my neighbours fence and he stopped what he was doing to take a few minutes and explain to me the services he offered and the quality of materials he uses. He was very professional and courteous and made me feel comfortable that he was experienced and could complete the fence I was looking for. We discussed pricing and based off some other quotes he was definitely on the higher side but I was sold on the materials he was using and the fact he does not use nails and he hand picks all the cedar pickets. Be and his crew Mo and another gentleman showed up exactly when he said he would and began the job right away. Be was very responsive every time I had a question or concern he would stop and take the time to talk with me thats great customer service to me because I like to ask questions. Be was very fair and was willing to go the extra mile to ensure I was happy. The quality of materials used were just as he explained and the quality of work was even better. Once the work was complete they cleaned up very well and even walked the yard with a magnet to ensure no screws were left behind. I will be using Be and his crew on future jobs and want to thank him and Mo for doing such a wonderful job on our fence and taking the time to explain things to me each time I had a question.

Great Company! Be Ayyash was quick to schedule, showed up on time and is very polite. My fence needed a few boards replaced and the gates adjusted, so my dogs would stop letting themselves out! Excellent job! Hired him to power wash my driveway and sidewalks. If you need an all around good honest handyman give Be a call!

High winds from a late Friday night severe thunderstorm tore down ~40 ft section of shared wooden fence that separates our yard from a next door neighbor.'s yard. Two fence posts were snapped near grade. We have two large dogs and wanted the fence repaired ASAP. I went to Angie's List to look for contractors in my area with "A" ratings and found Damar Co. I called and the phone was immediate answered by Be Ayyash. I explained the situation and he said he was working another job right then but would stop by later in the day to give us an estimate. He showed up as promised, gave us a written estimate, and said he was booked during the upcoming week but could do the job the next day (Sunday). He and his crew showed up on time Sunday morning, demo'd the damaged fence and installed a new fence including a gate. The new fence used 6 ft cedar pickets plus a rot board. Construction quality was excellent. Examples includes use of screws in addition to nails and blocking for nailing and supporting the horizontal members (see picture). A corner of the yard near the fence stays wet for quite awhile after a rain. Be stopped work to ask me if having the rot board higher off the ground than normal would be OK. He had installed one so I could see what it looked like. He said it would help the rot board last longer but knew we had dogs and wanted to make sure the gap wouldn't be a problem. I greatly appreciated him taking the time to ask. The crew did a great job cleaning up the work site before they left. . Overall Damar Co did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them for fence work.

Be came out the next day from the day I called to give me a quote on the work. We agreed on the work and the price as well as the estimated two to three day time frame. The first day Be and his associate came out to place the posts and all of the framing as well as reinforcing the existing 150 feet of fence. The second day was expecting rain however Be showed up and worked through the rain to finish the job expecting rain for the next several days. This was a pleasure for me to get this done in two days rather than waiting for the next clear day to get this finished. I will hire Be again for all of my handy work. He was very reliable, trustworthy, time conscious, and I was very pleased with the quality of his work. I also needed my mailbox post pulled out of the ground and moved a couple of feet closer to the street as requested by the post office, again correcting my prior contractor's lack of quality and rush to complete the job. Not only did Be move the mailbox but he called it a bonus for me with no charge! Who does that these days? EXTREMELY SATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!

I purchased pressure washing services from Damar Co. in response to an Angie's list deal. Be (that's his first name), provided an excellent service. They were responsive and flexible with scheduling their service - performed the work on a Sunday. They were punctual and reasonable when negotiating final scope and cost of services. Damar did a thorough and professional job. They barely took any breaks and completed what I thought would be a 2-day task, in a matter of hours. They moved/replaced furniture from the patio and protected my outdoor kitchen appliances during the process. I would certainly recommend their services and plan to have them out again soon (stay tunned for another review on them).

Fast and good quality work. These guys know how to work and they know what to do.

We have a larger back yard so I paid extra (but at a discounted rate). He is very courteous, professional and does a wonderful job in a timely manner. He had an assistant and he was very nice and did a great job as well. I would highly recommend them to work on your fence!!!

This went wonderfully for us. He was friendly and efficient and got the work done the same day. He also cleaned up very well. I was amazed by this. I was very pleased that they advised me that I needed to call someone to mark the electrical lines as well as the gas lines and things of this nature so that they did not accidently damage these ? the preparation was great. He came back and sealed the fence and pressure washed our sidewalk. It was excellent work and I would highly recommend him.

I have no reason to believe he wouldn't do a perfectly good job, however we had a scheduling difficulty.

Work was done by 2 persons. Work was done well. Both persons were extremely courteous and followed through on their offer. Used screws for the pickets instead of nails for a quality product. Additional supports for runner rails were provided. The concrete slab was cut accurately and finished very neatly. The old fence was hauled away.

He responded very quickly - and wanted to make sure that he was *on time* (and he was). Knowing that the coupon had a limit of surface area it covered, he measured and gave me the quote that would cover everything i needed. (interesting trick AL does with the coupons - i felt like was paying only $133 for the service since the payment with the coupon is so separate from the transaction). He went right to work - was out there a couple of hours - everything looked great. He even did the garage doors "for free" (i had no idea they were grungy until he washed them!). 2 sides of my house could have used some work too, but my brick isn't solid color (long story unrelated to this) - he tested it and it seemed fine, but i still couldn't bring myself to go full-on with it, and he didn't put on the pressure sales pitch. As it turns out, pressure washing is a messy business, and he totally cleaned up afterwards. I am quite pleased with how my house looks now.

I was very happy with the service provided. His professionalism and honesty is what I like most about the owner. He took the time to explain what needed to be done to have a newer and pretty fence and he did such a very good job. He encouraged me to go thru Angie's List which it is something you do not see very often. I will definitely hire him for any handy man job that I might need in the future. Highly recommended.
