D LANDSCAPER

Much was put in the previous box but to recap, for all of the winter months when leaves were falling, he initially put them in my trash can because he doesn't like the city required bags. I complained so then he just piled them up in the corners of my yard to collect. I tried to get him to clean up his mess but he refused. He claims leaves are mulch but if you ask for real mulch, he will quote a high price of $325. I fired him and refused to pay his last bill as I had been paying him full price for months for half of the work. And he ruined one of my hoses - just cut it up in various pieces, and never even offered to replace. Then he personally threatened me. I had fortunately saved all his emails and reported him to the HPD store front by my house, the security service that patrols my neighborhood and the BBB. The BBB wouldn't contact him since I hadn't paid the bill but I will be contacting them again since now I have paid the bill to get him to stop harassing me. Then he comes up with February bill (in June) that he says I still owe when I know I paid it. I offered to pay him half since he did half the work but he just keep harassing me. I have finally paid the final bill, less his ridiculous $5.00 gas surcharge per visit. I had spanish services who were honest, did a great job and were paid fairly at decent prices. I would not under any circumstances hire this guy for any service. He is a fraud and a bully. I still have to pay someone else to clean up his mess - I offered to pay him full price if he just came back out and finished his job but he was not interested in that. Out of frustration, I paid him less than owed and marked it final bill. If I hear from him again, there will be another trip to HPD and I will have him served for harassment . Please stay away from his business "D" Landscaper run by a Frank Dunstatter. You will regret in the end and will end up doing the work yourself. I know mow and edge my own lawn and can honestly say I do much better job than him. Unfortunately, I have to deal with the mess of leaves he left behind. BEWARE of this man - any businessman that personally threatens you should be put out of business.
