Hi, I am sorry, but I have no contacts in my records from you. I have looked everywhere I could. I have been out of the office, as my out of office reply stated, until today. If you did contact me via Angies List, which I show no record of that, and they do not offer an out of office reply. I am going to speak to AL about this.

We had several places where the fascia board is curved, actually in two directions at the same time. In those places you just can't use wood as you would on the rest of the house. They tracked down a product that looks like wood but could be bent like that. It really ended up working out well, better than anything else could have. They really put in a lot of time to track down the appropriate solution. What they came up with has worked out well. I feel that another contractor would have taken the quickest or easiest route and it wouldn't have worked out so well. We didn't feel that they had as much on site supervision as we thought was necessary. This resulted in us discovering a few small issues. However, when we brought these issues to their attention they were quick to resolve it. Any of the feedback that we offered them they truly took to heart, they care about their customers. We are very happy with the work. The quality of the finished product is very good. They were not the cheapest but we were not looking for cheap as much as quality. We would highly recommend them and are planning to use them again.
Description of Work: They did a lot of exterior renovation on our house. They replaced the fascia boards and did exterior painting. They also changed out some exterior doors and frames for us as well. This required moderate drywall work on the interior as well. They then painted the interior as well.

We had two 1960?s bathrooms gutted and remodeled. What could have been a very daunting project was made livable by the Capps brothers. We were very happy with our experience. The Capps were both professional and personable. The initial negotiations were handled with a high level of professionalism. We worked initially with Cameron on the business side and Casey was our project manager. Both of them were very responsive to our inquiries, either phone or email. The entire project was expected to take 5-6 weeks (the bathrooms being done simultaneously) and was completed in five weeks. We were provided with weekly work schedules. Any problems encountered along the way were discussed and a solution agreed on. We were generally pleased with the scheduling of the various subcontractors. The subs are expected to complete daily work to be out of the house in time for the owners to have a free evening. While it didn?t always work that way, we didn?t find it intrusive in our circumstances. We were pleased with the efforts taken to keep the remainder of the house dust free and the work area clean. Capmire assisted us with some design ideas and kept us informed on the costs of various materials we chose. This included informing us of the high cost of the glass accent tile we selected for the shower stalls. Not that they wouldn?t order it for us, they just wanted us to be sure we were aware of the cost. We actually had not priced it, and with the forewarning we went back to the tile store to select something more in line with our budget. The icing on the cake was that our elderly dog, highly suspicious of men, accepted both brothers as soon as they entered the house. She gives them a big paws up!
Description of Work: Complete renovation of 2 bathrooms including new tile, counter tops, replacing wallpaper with paint, new cabinet fronts, new sinks, toilets and hardware. Work including ripping out fur downs to open up rooms. We picked out paints, fixtures and other replacement parts for the bathrooms with helpful suggestions from Capmire.

I contacted Capmire Projects after reading their great track record on Angie's List. Within 24 hours of contact with Cameron Capps, I had met with him and an estimate/start date were provided. Both Cameron and Casey were very punctual for all meetings and start times. On the first day of renovation I was provided with a schedule of the scope of work to be done and an estimate of date of completion. The entire job was completed ahead of schedule. Our kitchen looks fantastic! It turned out better than I had imagined. Their eye for detail is absolutely spot on! Our new shelving in the master closet has made it much more functional. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and they gave me a great idea which is what we ended up choosing. I was very impressed that they took the time to keep the dust contained to the area they were working. They blocked off their work area, covered the wood flooring, wore covers on their shoes, and always cleaned at the end of the day. I was out of town when the work was completed and my husband was tied up in a business meeting. Casey noticed that the dog had been indoors all day and he took it upon himself to let him out twice. I highly recommend Capmire Projects and I will definitely call them for any future work that we may have done on our home.
Description of Work: Kitchen Renovation which included removing original bar and countertops, installing new cabinets to make a large center island. All granite removed and replaced, plumbing and electrical moved and reconnected, new island light and kitchen faucet installed. Master Closet Shelving-- Additional shelving designed and installed, painting and trim to match existing design. Original estimate was $9,700.00 but we chose a high-end granite which increased our cost.

The job was done wonderfully. Cameron and Casey were very professional and were helpful in explaining to me the various steps in the job. They actually pro-actively made a suggestion that saved me money (and thus lowered their overall cost) which was very appreciated. We couldn't have been more pleased.

PRE-PROJECT: Cameron & Casey came to my house to walk through the project areas, listen to my vision of the remodeling final result, make suggestions about different options to pursue, and to spend time just talking about themselves and their company. They explained that a detailed proposal would be submitted that attempts to include all project costs. The other bids I got only focused on the contractor?s details, not the owner?s list of items to choose and purchase. I appreciated having the total cost of the project to work with from the beginning. The cost was reasonable for the extent of the work, a logical work schedule was projected, and most of all ? the entire job was permitted by the COH (structural, HVAC, electrical, plumbing). For these reasons, I chose Capmire Projects as the contractor to perform this remodeling project. PHASE I [3 weeks]: The guest bath and hallway attached to it were remodeled first so that I could retain use of the existing master bedroom and bath. This area of the house was prepared by protecting the floors attached to the work area, and by separating the demo/work area from the rest of the house with floor-to-ceiling plastic barriers (with full length zippers to allow passage as needed). The demolition and reconstruction of the guest bath was well done. Casey served as the on-site project manager and kept the subs working to the expected level of quality while also addressing the inevitable ?surprises? with a sense of constant cooperation and professionalism. It seemed as though my 50 year old home had no square, plumb, or level surfaces anywhere, but Casey worked diligently to sort out the difficulties and produce a workable solution. The guest bath was completed on schedule and included a new tile floor, new cast iron tub, new tile bath surround, new plumbing & trim fixtures in the tub, new toilet, new granite countertop, renovated cabinet base with new hardware, new lighting scheme, addition of a powered exhaust vent, a custom cabinet above the toilet, and complete new paint scheme. It looks great. PHASE II [5 weeks]: The master bath, master bedroom, master closet, and attached main hallway were completely remodeled. The most significant improvement came with gutting the master bath to the studs (ceiling, too) and incorporating additional space by taking in a coat closet and bedroom entry niche. This more than doubled the size of the master bath, allowing for a large walk-in shower enclosed in glass and featuring new tiled walls and a bench seat. Other remodeled items in the master bath include a custom double-sink vanity cabinet with a granite countertop, a new toilet with custom cabinetry above, new floor tile, new light scheme including recessed main lights, sconces flanking the double vanity mirrors, a recessed shower light, a powered exhaust vent, and a new paint scheme. Moving the original walls to accommodate the enlarged bathroom required relocating the entrance to the master closet as well as the entry door from the main hallway into the bedroom. As a result, there was a lot of sheetrock to replace (and texture to match the existing) as well as new doors and frames to install in their new locations. The quality of all the finish work throughout the master suite was very high. The master bath is probably the most impressive part of the total project, and reflects good design (using cost-effective materials to the best advantage) and overall good construction quality. Again, the lack of plumb, square, and level surfaces inherent in a house this age would occasionally contribute to construction problems, but they were always resolved in creative and satisfying ways. CROWN MOULDING: The remainder of the house received new crown moulding throughout as well as miscellaneous millwork and sheetrock repair. [After the Capmire project was completed, I painted the remainder of the walls that their project did not include.] The millwork was very well executed and finished with an excellent semi-gloss paint job. POST-PROJECT: After the construction was completed and all the inspections passed, Casey and I performed the ritual walk-through that results in a punch list for final touch-ups. The punch list items were quickly attended to which brought the project to a successful close. SUMMARY: After eight weeks of remodeling work, I am pleased to report that the choice of Capmire Projects for my remodeling job was absolutely the correct one. The professional manner of co-owners Cameron & Casey, the quality of work performed by their regular tradesmen, the accurate scheduling, the budget control allowed by their total-cost proposal, and the comprehensive use of city permits & inspector oversight all combine to make Capmire Projects a company I am happy to recommend highly, and that I look forward to using for other remodeling projects in the future.
Description of Work: * Extensive remodeling of two bathrooms (move walls to enlarge master bath, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, lighting, cabinetry, countertops, fixtures, flooring, painting, trim) * Remodel hallways and master bedroom/closet (hallways received crown moulding, bead board wainscoting with chair rail, and replacement base boards; master bedroom received crown moulding, relocated entry & closet doors, relocated sheetrock walls related to enlarging the master bath) * Install crown moulding throughout the rest of the house: dining room, kitchen, den, secondary bedrooms. Minor sheetrock repairs & retexturing to prepare for owner painting the walls.

What can I say, we are honored to have met you and worked with you. This was such a great project. You have one of the best bath renovations we have created, thru your vision of course. Overall, I am satisfied. They did a good job and were very attentive. There were a couple of bumps in the road. The main problem was that when installing the gas line, the plumber knocked the drainage pipe off of the A/C unit. He also tipped the emergency water pan over. He didn't put any of those things back. Resultantly, we had leakage on our floor. Once bringing this to their attention, they responded and came out to fix the issue by spraying for potential mold and fixing the warped floor boards. They offered to do two options for our cabinets; either custom or pre-made. I was happy with the original bid for the pre-made cabinets, but after talking with the manufacturer and thinking that it would be only $100.00 extra for what I wanted, I received the revised pricing from Cameron. The price had gone up by $1500.00. His response was that we had a lot of upgrades to our project. There was miscommunication during the original cabinet estimate, which resulted in us paying more than originally quoted, which I was not very happy about. Once the project was done, they did send us a nice gift, which was thoughtful. The company is owned by two brothers, Cameron and Casey. Casey was a pleasure to work with and was very responsive. He was a real joy to deal with throughout the entire process.
Description of Work: They completely gutted and remodeled our kitchen. They tore out all of the old cabinets and installed new ones. They ran a new gas line into the kitchen, so that we could have a gas cook top. They also made a single window into a double window, installed granite counter tops, installed an under mount sink and faucet, and removed a wall to make the kitchen more open. They also moved the water line to the other side of the kitchen, so that we could move the fridge.

I like the job he did, it is not perfect, but for the cost is ok.
Description of Work: Cameron took care of three columns on our porch. he deed a pretty good job, with manor failings, as one column is not fully centered to the base, and part of the porch is not very well leveled. For the cost the work is good, but if u are looking for something done with high precision, i would be careful. In my experience is that Houston has the worse contractor ever, assuming that, Cameron is really good.

Project went smoothly. We weren't sure exactly what we wanted when we started. Converting dead space to an intricate playroom is not easy. Casey was very flexible with scope changes and also creative in coming up with modifications to make the rooms better than we anticipated. Our son and all the neighborhood kids love the playrooms that Casey and his crew built. The pictures attached describe the work much better than I can.
Description of Work: 1) Took dead space behind a wall + part of the attic and turned it into a play room with a 65 sq ft ball pit, 2-story slide, climbing wall, climbing rope, fireman pole, stairs, mini-balcony overlooking the ball pit, and secret entrance via a mirror. 2) Took dead space behind a second wall and turned it into a closet with a secret bookshelf opening into a mini-playroom. Also built cabinets in the closet with a secret passage leading to another room. 3) Built a mini-playroom out of previously inaccessible attic space. 4) Build a storage room out of more previously inaccessible attic space with a secret passage leading to and from the closet they built. 5) Partial kitchen remodel Before and after pictures of everything are attached.

Cameron did a fantastic job coordinating and supervising this project from the beginning to the end. He immediately responded to my phone calls or emails. He carefully inspected all the work being done and even called the plumber back out to redo work that he felt should have been done better. We were under a time constraint and he worked overtime to get our job done by my desired timeline. He did such a great job on the guest bath cabinets, I plan on having him come back out this summer to refinish my cabinets in the master bath!
Description of Work: Took down wallpaper in master bath and guest bathroom, textured and painted the walls. Removed the fir down in the guest bathroom, retiled the bath and added glass doors to the tub and shower. Replaced all plumbing fixtures in both bathrooms. Tore out countertop in guest bathroom and installed Silestone and two sinks. Built and stained two unique wooden frames around large mirrors in both bathrooms. Sanded and restained cabinets in guest bath. Added a recessed light over the tub in the guest bath. Refinished front door and installed new lock set. Replaced corroded pipe in attic.

My wife and I bought a foreclosure house that was almost completely stripped (appliances, counter tops, etc). After interviewing several contractors we hired Capmire Projects (Casey Capps) to fix up the interior and to add a balcony to the back of the house. We hired them because Casey was the most punctual in terms of getting back to us when he said he would, and he seemed like he could get things done on time and within budget. Pros: 1) Extremely responsive and easy to deal with, phone calls were always either answered or returned within 5 minutes. 2) We were kept in the loop and always consulted when something unanticipated (e.g. a better way to position ceiling lights/fans) arose. 3) I showed Casey a picture of roughly what I wanted for the balcony and he built it perfectly. I have before and after pictures, which I'll try to figure out how to post. 4) Projects were completed within budget. Cons: Technically the balcony took longer to complete than planned, but that was due to the horrible weather in January/February that prevented certain work from being done. Adjusting for the weather the project was done ahead of schedule.
Description of Work: Install balcony/patio cover to back of house, remodel kitchen/bathroom, install carpets and ceiling fans, electrical rewiring, repair holes in the walls, paint, etc.
