We're delighted with the project we've just completed at our Heights home with Byron's Landscaping: the results exceeded our initial expectations, and the overall project experience was completely positive. Every individual on the team was professional, focused, and dedicated to completing the project to our satisfaction. From the initial conversation and consultation with Ricardo and George we felt comfortable, and the project leadership displayed by George, Jay, and others as the job continued was exactly as promised. Some of the other less than stellar reviews on this site are simply not our experience: the team was always communicating with us, were open to suggestions and questions, cleaned up the project site routinely, and the bid for a sizable amount of work resulted in a high 'value for the money' project leading ultimately to improved property value and a better standard of living for us. Finally: Jay, George, and Ricardo are just good people: what more can you ask for? Kudos to the entire Byron's team: highly recommended.

Ricardo is great! We've used this company for 6 different jobs, and Ricardo's team always completes them on time, on budget, and according to the agreed terms. His team is courteous and professional, too. We recommend Byron's to our friends who use them often. For this most recent job, we needed a complete landscaping overhaul and tree trimming for our house that is going on the market soon. Ricardo and team did a lovely job that boosted curb appeal and made the house look fresh and inviting. We will definitely use him and his team again.

Byron's did an amazing job improving the look and feel of our house (hat tip to Ricardo - who is awesome). Their landscaping made a world of difference. They were super responsive, collaborative, creative and full of helpful recommendations to guide our decisions. I highly recommend them.

For the original job they arrived on time. It was cold that day and I did not really exam work because I get sick rather easily. Just to glance it looked like a good job but the plants started dying within one week. I went out and examined plants then and realized that many of plants were in bad shape ie rose bush had brown spots on leaves, another plant the leaves were covered with some kind of white stuff, etc. Ricardo was supposed to return the next week and redo my flower pots. After two weeks I called and he promised to send pictures and be at my house to look at the dying plants and do the pots. I have called several times since then and my calls are not answered or returned. My recommendation would be this company be dropped from Angie’s list. I paid $1200 and furnished 24 scrubs myself. I feel I was way over charged for the plants provided and the time to complete to complete the job.

Overall grade would be an A and I would give them an A for all the other categories too. If I were to tell someone else, I would say they are very punctual, very responsive to our wishes and what we are trying to accomplish and very hard working.

I wasn't terribly pleased. They were fairly expensive which was fine with me. They just worked the surface. It took a couple of times and they finally fixed it and got it right. It was just a hassle. It was three men for probably a little over half a day. It took quite a bunch of coming back and redoing all that with me pushing that.

Ricardo is very artistic and chooses beautiful plants for our beds. Neighbors usually knock on my door wanting to know who did my landscaping. He gets the job done very quickly. We have him return each year to spruce up existing landscaping and add new features.

I can't say enough good things about Byron's Landscaping. We have used them a couple of times. The first time, we had them do some planting in a small bed in the front of our townhouse, as well as spreading mulch and doing some trimming and clean up including removing a large shrub. The second time, we had them refresh the gravel n the pathway to our patio, replant the beds around our patio, and install an irrigation system.
One of the first things that impressed us is responsive Byron's is. In both cases, Ricardo was able to come out the next day to give us an estimate (including coming out on a Saturday). Then, he was willing to have a crew to come out that day, or the next day to get started. Both times, the work was completed in a couple of days.
The second thing that impressed us was that both times, we got much more than we expected. The first time, all beds were mulched thoroughly, and everything was cleaned up beyond our expectations. And in both cases when they have done planting, they have provided many more plants, and in a great variety, than we were expecting for the money. Each time, they left our property neat and clean, delivering a definite wow factor.

This is the second year we have used this company. Last year they built a magnificent pergala and flagstone patio for our back porch. Ricardo Perales is extremely personable and eager to please. I found that the more specific I was in what I wanted, the better. He is very creative and artistic with landscaping and choice of plants. I have people knocking on my door asking who did my front beds. Fence work was done with the highest quality treated wood.

"Mrs. [member name removed], Several times we called before heading out to continue your beautiful project and did not get an answer. We can’t work or begin our day after 5 or 6 p.m., since our days begin at 5 a.m. every day. As for the gate, the crew made me aware of gate not working properly upon arrival, and we still went ahead and had that fixed without charge for you. We also fixed some things you wanted changed. The entire work was finished waiting for your final payment and that is when again we could not contact you. This went on for weeks. We were extremely patient with you not paying the remaining balance. We drive always by your home, and let me say, YOUR HOME IS THE MOST GORGEOUS out there. Your landscape is phenomenal. We very much liked them and we signed up with them for a continuing contract. When we first called them, our yard was a complete mess. It was overgrown, full of weeds and a jungle basically. So we called them to inspect it. They took a look at it and gave us a quote. Basically they said it would take one or two days. They did in less time, maybe four hours. They did it much quicker and the things that he quoted me he would do, he did more than our arrangements.

They did a great job. We're in the process of selling our home and wanted to freshen up our curb appeal. We went with a hardscape in the front yard with various plants interspersed among the rocks. They put down a stone walkway along both driveways (we're in a block of 3 town homes) that is very attractive. Also lots of colorful flowers everywhere. They incorporated some of the elements we already had there into the design. We had them put down some grass on the side and part of the back yard for future pets. They incorporated our plumeria plants into the design. We're quite happy with it.

The decision to have Ricardo and his crew complete our landscaping project was initially based on the excellent price he quoted us. All aspects of the project were completed as promised and our yard looks great as a result. He and his crew were friendly and professional. He was even gracious enough to replace one of the bamboos after it didn't take well. We'll definitely call on Ricardo again for any future landscaping needs.
