I'd give them a zero if I could. Told us one thing and then would turn around and change what we agreed on after being paid. It feels like the bait and switch with this company. Would not recommend.

A first-class operation. The phone sales people were professional, enthusiastic and helpful even though my order was small relative to what they usually sell (apparently they mainly do big projects with builders). I had a uniquely difficult problem in that I needed some custom-milled (cut) lumber to match a fence around my home which had been made in the 1960's.
Home Depot / Lowe's could't get this for me nor could the smaller, local operators like Olshan's and Bering's. I had about given up until I ran across BPP. The lumber I needed was rough-cut cedar measuring exactly 2 inches by 4 inches. Modern dimensional lumber is smaller than the call-out dimension. A modern 2x4 is actually 1 1/2 x 3 1/2. BPP cut the cedar I needed from larger stock and it matched my fence perfectly! Additionally, the 1x12's they shipped me were in perfect condition with NO splits nor waste material. If you go to the big box stores for this material you have to cull through a big pile of cruddy wood to find a split-free piece (if you take a piece with splits you waste a lot of wood...).
The delivery was seamless, they KEPT ALL THEIR PROMISES. They called in advance, I took time off work to meet them at my house. They showed up on schedule, dropped the lumber pack exactly where I wanted in the driveway - no drama...
The driver was neat in appearance wearing a company shirt and was very professional. Took my check, thanked me for my business and was on his way!
Throughout the entire process I was treated as if I were a big $$ customer even though they knew it was a small job I was doing myself. I am delighted with the fence I built and am now looking forward to the siding project...

One of the salesmen, Eric Lincoln, was knoweledgable and easily lead me to the perfect materials for my project. I would definitely work with them again!

Thanks to a referral from Building Products Plus, we now have an absolutely beautiful new fence which was built by a contractor and his crew that BPP had dealt with before. This contractor not only personally supervised each and every part of the build process but also did much of the hand work and custom design that has resulted in our new fence. He also built the adjoining fences for our neighbors. We now enjoy a well built, well designed fence that will likely withstand the test of gulf coast storms, high winds and lots of wet weather and hot sun in years to come. Building Products Plus knew our needs and also knew that it was important to us to have the fence built with the highest level of professionalism and craftsmanship. Thanks to BPP for the perfect referral and even overseeing the initial introduction we had to the contractor and doing regular follow ups to insure we were satisfied .

It was the most plesent experience I have ever had with a lumber company or a contractor, It when fantastically from start to finish.

Pretty straightforward (which is why I like them). I called with my materials list, gave them the quantities, they asked some questions about what I was building (to help make sure I've got good materials), took my address, took my credit card.

They called before delivering.

The driver arrived, asked where I wanted the materials dropped.

He unloaded, I signed the ticket for him, and he drove away.

THEY WERE QUIET AND QUICK. I HAVE HAD MY NEW SHED IN FOR A FEW WEEKS NOW.
