Bammel TV Technology Services

The service was good.

It took Bammel three attempts to repair the unit, but they kept at it until it was properly done. The VCR, while pretty old, is a high-end unit for the time it was made, so still worth fixing to me. Overall, they did a good job & most impressive is that they stood behind their work & didn't quit until the job was done correctly. I was impressed that they didn't give up!

I was not happy with them.  They gave me a discount, because they stood me up one day and they gave me a reduction, they were going to charge me $98.45.  They were late in to get there of course, and didn’t fix it initially and didn’t stay around long enough to check it.  When I called them back almost immediately after he left, I thought he was going to turn around and come back, but he said he would be back the next day.  He wasn’t until two to three days later when he finally showed up unexpectedly on a Saturday morning.  He got me out of bed that day.  I wasn’t happy with him at all.  Everything went okay with it, but I wouldn’t use him in the future.   The overall experience of the service itself was just satisfactory because the end product was fine, but again it took days in getting there.

The short story ? it took 2 months from the time the warranty company approved the initial diagnosis until the TV was working again.  I can attribute 1 week of this total time back to warranty company for time required to approve the repairs after diagnosis.  The remaining time was due to poor service from Bammel.  During this time we had to regularly call and prompt Bammel into action.  It was incredible that they seem to just forget about us until we called to inquire and then this seemed to again prompt them into some action.  We were misled several times about expected delivery of parts which didn?t happen.  At one point I was told that the final part would be in within 3 days.  Two weeks later I find out there was still a problem finding this part.  At this point they finally seemed to get more serious about getting it fixed and it was done within the week.  Their misrepresentation of the facts gives them an "F" on professionalism in my book. 

The actual serviceman seemed very good and was able to diagnose and install the required parts when received.  They get good quality rating because they did eventually get the TV fixed. The serviceman did show up on time when scheduled.  The cost seemed high but I don't have experience with repairs on these big screen TV's.  If it were much more expensive it would be better to just buy a new one!

They picked it up and repaired it on time. They did what they said they were going to do and their price was what they said it was going to be. If needed, I would hire them again.

I took the amplifier to them for repair. They would never specify the work that they did. They charged me $375 for the repair. I have refused pay they and they won't return my equipment.

I USED THEN AS A RECOMMENDATION FROM A FRIEND AND THEY WERE GREAT. FIXED THE TV WITH NO PROBLEM. GREAT PRICE, BECAUSE I DIDN'T HAVE TO BUY A NEW ONE!
