Victor was a pleasure to meet. They did a great job moving the washer and dryer within about an hour's time, including drive time.

They were punctual. Very organized. Did a wonderful job. They took the stress out of moving.

Mrs. Nunez and crew packed on Monday, Feb 10th. The moving crew arrived Tuesday morning and moved us across the county, finishing the move by early evening. Items included front loading washer and dryer, French door Frig, freezer and several specialty furniture pieces.... very heavy sleeper sofa and the usual things accumulated over years.

They set up the washer and dryer, frig and freezer... placed the furniture items and boxes in the designated rooms and were fastidious about protecting walls and floors of the home we were moving out of and the new home into which we were moving.

The pricing was competitive. One of the items that went into the pricing was the additional insurance on the belongings. While I had confidence in Victor's crew, accidents are known to happen on Houston freeways, so we decided to purchase the additional insurance. Nothing happened, which is always the desired outcome even when you have insurance... but we carry home owners insurance and auto insurance for the same purpose.

I felt Victor was very detailed in his presentation when he surveyed the contents before making a bid... they did what they said... and we are pleased with the results. Highly recommend All Purpose Movers.

I met Victor Nunez, owner of his company ,in October of 2012, when he arrived at my home ,which was on the market to be sold. After having had two prior bids, I was holding my breath, at the thought of yet another impossible price. I was going back home, after retiring from teaching in the inner city.
Victor arrived promptly, wearing a huge smile , his briefcase and expertise. As he walked around my home, we chatted and got to know a little history about each other. When we finally sat down to put pencil to paper, I was a little nervous.
I need not have been anxious at all. When he gave me to final quote, I was relieved. We decided that his crew would pack me up, a day prior to closing.
The crew arrived promptly and began packing immediately. Eight thousand pounds were packed, quickly, and loaded onto the van. The staff used so much care in treating my belongings, as if they were rare pieces of art work. In a few hours, I was packed and my home was empty of all my belongings.
The van hurried to a air conditioned storage facility to be stored , as I searched for a home in New York. This state is all about red tape when it comes to the closing of a home. I just received my furniture and it is now May 3, of 2013. Today, the crew arrived promptly, The men began working hard to place my furniture, in the attic, basement, garage and the interior with swiftness, care and determination. My furniture, and belongings were delivered without a scratch. They set up my beds and were on their way.
They were courteous, professional and swift and finished in a few hours.

Victor quoted us a flat rate, but he misled us about what was NOT included in the flat rate. When providing flat rate quote, he said its an 'all inclusive rate' including trip cost and moving. On moving day, the crew loaded everything on the truck and met them at the new location to unload. At that time the crew lead suddenly told us they would not place boxes in the rooms, but would stack all boxes in one place. Because it was flat rate. We were quite upset, as this was never disclosed to us or explained to us. We called Victor, and after some very tense discussions he agreed to let the crew put boxes in the rooms but asked us to make full payment before the guys could unload the truck. Made for an overall negative experience, and added unnecessary stress to an already long day.

They phoned two days ahead to confirm the appointment. They showed up on time, and worked at a steady pace all day. It took about 12 hours to complete the in-town move. They used a four man crew, with a 51' truck. They were very diligent about wrapping everything, and protecting the floors in my old house. They set up everything where I wanted it. It was a great experience. They did exactly what was quoted, without any surprise changes or charges.

I called All Purpose Movers and Victor answered the phone. We discussed various pricing options for the amount of furniture to be moved. I selected to use 2 men for a minimum of 3 hours and we scheduled a date. Victor called me the day before to confirm our appointment. The movers arrived within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. The men wrapped our large pieces of furniture in protective quilts. We moved approx 10 pieces of furniture and 20 boxes. They were very quick to load up and careful with our items. The entire job took about 2.5 hrs. I also used All Purpose Movers about 18 months ago -- on a rainy day. On that occasion, they wrapped all our furniture in protective plastic so our furniture would not get wet. On that day, they also moved a piano for us.
