A small business in a strip industrial segment between Almeda and Fannin...if you're not looking close you might miss it. Got an estimate that I thought was more than fair since you know how replacing anything on a foreign car can go...$$$. They had the part ready the next day. I didn't have additional transportation so I just waited the 3 hours it took to install and cure. Their waiting room looks like anyones den at home...TV, VCR, Sofa, wood paneling and more importantly WI-FI...the perfect place for me to develope a relationship with my new iPad2 or get some work done on the laptop. Before I knew it....it was done and I was on my way. Chris explained everything...my options...what things people usually weren't happy with product/solution wise and aftercare of my new window. Don't expect a loaner car and don't expect sticker shock either...just a nice little down home visit at Able Auto Glass. I can't think of anything else to make it a pleasureable experience...except maybe some of Grandma's home baked cookies.

About $150-$100 less than most places in town. Fast, punctual and overall nice people. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

I submitted an on-line request for estimate and they called me the next day with an estimate. They pointed out that my car has glass with a sound insulating film between the laminations, and that a lot of glass coming from China is not made to this specification. I received a very high quality job. The owners are courteous, and bend over backwards to please. A pleasant throwback to the way things used to be in the service industry.

I think they did a good job. Their cost was appropriate and reasonable. We would hire them again.

A rock hit my windshield on the weekend, and I got 3 cracks spreading out from it. I was able to call the store up and email pictures. They advised me to repair it. They ordered the windshield in advance, and even helped me to pick the right one, so my compass on my rear view mirror would still work. My husband took the car in for me at 10 am 2 days later, and he was back by lunchtime. It turns out that they also do work for my company and co-workers, who they remembered when I told them where i worked. It's been 3 weeks now, and the windshield has been fine. I couldn't be happier.

Pulled up without an appointment. I had my new windshield installed at this location about a year ago and it went great so when I got a chip I drove it right over. The owner was just heading out to pick up a part but told me to park my car in the shade so the windshield would cool off and he would be back in 20 minutes. 20 minutes later he fixed my windshield. Took about 30 minutes and went well. The owners were nice enough to provide both me and my dog with water. Very friendly folks. They have a nice waiting room with good a/c, cable tv, movies, and wifi. There is also a nice park bench area outside where I sat with my dog (although they said it was fine if I wanted to bring her inside). The owners couldn't be nicer and they really seem to care about getting it right. Prices are are very competitive and I like the fact that they are local.

After getting a few quotes from other companies, some cheaper, and one more expensive, I chose Able glass because the cheaper ones had F's on the BBB website and I didn't see any value in going to the more expensive one. I called and made a Saturday appointment, and things went exactly as I was told with no surprises. The replacement took a little longer than I would have liked, but it was cold outside, which made removing the old windshield a little more difficult. I was also chatting with Chris and Deborah as they worked, so I probably slowed them down a bit. A very good experience overall.

They were able to replace windshield with short notice. Very professional & polite. Got 3 quotes, they were the least expensive and most thorough.

They were excellent and about $80 less than other bidder. They did the work at my house and moved all the stickers very professionally--installing them on the new window. I would definitely use again.

Ken met me in the parking lot and introduced himself. Then he turned me over to his wife Diane (I hope I got their names right--if not, please forgive me, you two!), who ushered me into the waiting room which is furnished with (inter alia) a sofa, side chairs, a tv with dvd (and dvd's to watch), and plenty of magazines. She showed me how to operate the tv (I had declined the dvd) and pointed out all the magazines, especially some she particularly enjoyed. Ken started work on my windshield right away After a bit he called me in to the shop area to point out all the leaves under the hood and told me the consequences (wet floor mats, which I've experienced) of not keeping the leaves out. He vacuumed them out and proceeded with the job. I was invited to stay and watch. Diane joined us to and as the two of them replaced my windshield, we reminisced about common experiences in England. The job was finished in about two hours (including one hour of curing time). I was very pleased with my trip t;o Able Auto Glass.

I called Able Auto for a quote on replacing a car window that had been shot with a bb gun and one that had been previously broken. Person I talke to was very friendly and professional. I was immediately given a quote ($200 under dealer cost). I set up an appointment the next day. The job took a long time (approx 4 hours) because the car was old, some glass that was already broken had to be removed from one passenger door. Putting the passenger door back together proved to be a chore. In spite of that, this was a great experience. The people are friendly, the job was well done and the price was excellent. Highly recommended.

I had a very pleasant telephone conversation with a prompt quote and price that was over $100 less than the dealer price. An appointment was made. They had the windshield on site and within 45 minutes had it replaced. I was called about a half hour before the appointment to verify they were not backlogged. I was called to say it was ready after adhesive had set for an hour. Very thorough information was given. There were pleasant conversations and all my questions were answered. I paid by credit card. I was warned not to wash with soap or detergent for 24 hours. I am very pleased.
