The process went very well. The crew started early and finished installing 10 windows quickly.

Both installs went fine. Prompt and friendly workers, did their job quickly. The caulking has pulled away in a couple places. One of the screens is not tight. They didn't clean the windows before leaving. The windows function well. They look very nice especially compared to the black metal ones they replaced. We will do the final 11 windows probably this fall. 6 remaining windows are "eyebrow" or arched windows which are single hung and more expensive.

Not well!! Instead they send someone over to sell us all new windows. Total waste of my time and the Salesman's time. I was very clear on what we were looking for. Quote to replace 13 windows. They do not do that apparently. So instead he tried to Sell me all new windows.

The entire job was done in one day. The crew was very efficient, cleaned up what little mess they made and acted professional. I couldn't be more pleased. When you have windows replaced ask for "Orlando"as your foreman.

Sorry this has taken me so longer to report. My experience was excellent. The windows were replaced and looked great. This was an easy company to work with and they were also the least expensive at the time.

Price was better than Home Depot. More professional. Salesman was professional. Install was flawless. Very happy with the service. I am going to use again on patio doors.

I met with 5 replacement companies. I had estimates all the way from their price of $4600 to over $8000. iI was on a budget and concerned about "you get what you pay for" whickn was the approach of the companies with higher estimates. But after researching Window World I decided they were ae reputable company with quality windows. The sales rep, Alan Johnson was very professional and answered all my questions. He was not high pressured his presentation was less than an hour unlike others that took 2 to 3 hours trying to pressure me into a sale. I ordered the windows on 3/14/15 & was told they would be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. They called me on 4/7/15 & said my windows were in & they could schedule install anytime convenient for me. I was surprised when she told me they could do it on a Saturday so I didn't have to take a day off work. I received an email the next day confirming the installl & was advised the would call Saturday before 9 to give me an exact time. They called me at 7:20 and said they would be here by 8:30. They arrived at 8:15 and all 13 windows were installed by 12:30. They used drop clothes inside and picked and cleaned up EVERYTHING inside & out- even vacuummed inside. All the workers were EXTREMELY polite and professional. The project manager Jimmy called to give me his phone number if I had any concerns during the installation - never used that phone number! I have has dozens of projects over the years and this was the most stress free ever. They did everything as promised & exceeded my expectations. If you need replacement windows don't waste your time getting several estimates. This was the lowest and the windows are BEAUTIFUL and great quality!! Thank you Window World for a WONDERFUL job!!!!

The good thing was that the windows didn't take as long as I thought they would. It has only been about three weeks since I ordered them. I thought it would be six to eight weeks. They got everything done within two days. It was one of the lower prices, but not the lowest. They showed up when they said they would.

The quality of windows was good. The installation took about three hours and they cleaned up their mess. They did a nice job.

It went very well. We went through Clayton Huff, project estimator, and he did a great job. Every thing went as stated and when we had an issue with one of the screens, Window World came back and replaced the screen for free. We have contracted with them again for the upstairs front windows and are excited to get these quality windows installed. No more high heat or cooling bills!

How does this company manage to stay in business? ARE they still in business?

I must say, I was a little skeptical about purchasing windows at such a low cost compared to all of the other competitors around DFW, but I am so glad I did. Clayton Huff was so helpful from start to finish. He never gave me the run around about anything, and was very upfront about the entire process. He measured every window twice to ensure that every detail was perfect, as he could tell I was still a little nervous about making such a big purchase. He also showed up to the actual installation to make sure everything was running smoothly, which I thought was a great touch as well. Thank you Clayton for such a wonderful experience! I will definitely recommend you and your company to others in the future.

Window World did a wonderful job from our initial quote and through the installation process. We were informed of the status of our job throughout the process and the installation occurred exactly when they said it would. Our installers showed up on time and began working immediately. Our home is quite old, and as a result, it caused some gaps in the frame when they began replacing the windows. The installers made sure to trim out each window to make sure no gaps were left and even consulted with their project manager to make sure everything was done correctly. The project manager came out and checked on the job and was very professional. They had to use a substantial amount of extra trim materials given our old windows, and this required a lot of precise work. They did not charge us for this additional material or time, and were very good about consulting with us throughout the installation. They cleaned up each room well and made sure to protect all of the areas around each window when removing and installing the new window. They walked around with me after the installation to make sure that I was satisfied with the work and walked me through the various options of operating the new windows. I couldn't be happier with the work they did - our home looks so much more up-to-date and stays cooler with the new windows.

Update - After my initial review (below) on Angie's list I was immediately contacted by a Regional Supervisor, who assigned an area supervisor to oversee the order issues. While it did take a little while to sort things out and get the correct windows, they were diligent in making sure that I got the exact product I orginally ordered for both my personal home and rental property. The area supervisor, Jimmy, was excellant and went above and beyond to make things right. I will absolutely use them again! _____________________________________________________________________ Inital Review Within a few hours of placing both my orders, I left a message and text for rep that I wanted to change the exterior color of the two windows at my house. He confirmed via text message he would make the change. When the install crew showed up in mid-May they brought the color that I had cancelled. I asked the crew to return them. They told me they would let their supervisor know and I should receive a call later on that day. Regarding my rental property the installer showed up and the larger of the 3 windows ordered was short by about 4 inches. They don't partial installs so they took all three back and said a supervisor would contact me. After about 5 calls to the Grand Prairie office and 2 to the sales rep, nobody every returned my calls. Finally at the end of June I disputed the charges on my credit card. Would never use them again.

9:00 am came and went so I called at 9:22 am and got their answering machine. I did not leave a message. I called back at 9:52 am and left a message. I did not receive a return call, so I then emailed them at 10:20 am. I called back to their office at10:46 am and did speak to a receptionist who put me through to a field supervisor. He said that they had not been able to locate my windows in the warehouse and were still looking. He was concerned that they had not been shipped from the factory. He was going to call the factory and get back to me. At 11:58 am I called to ask the status of my windows. He told me that they were still looking and that he had not called the factory yet. I called again at 12:58 to check the status. I am getting real concerned that is not getting taken care of and with my luck they would show up to install it if I left to go get something to eat. The field supervisor called me back at 1:49 that they still had not found the windows and that he had two guys looking in the warehouse and tat I was on the top of the list. He asked me to give him until the end of the day.. I waited until 5:13 pm and called them back to find that they had closed for the day. I was extremely hot then that they had not called me back. I tried the field supervisors phone at 5:14 and got his message and did not leave a message.i called back to their office which has on their message their main office number for problems. I got that number and called at 5:15. The phone was answered there and I told them my issues, the time I had taken off from work, the work I had done to move furniture, rake down curtains and blinds and putting the dog in the kennel. She took it all down and told me she would email it to the boss since he had already left for the day. I told her that was not satisfactory and that the boss had a phone and she needed to call him on it and he needed to call me. I received a call back from the field supervisor at 5:55 pm telling me that they never found my windows and that they would give me hundred dollars off of my balance if I would allow him to make it right. I told him that did not even cover the cost of what I had spent at the kennel or time I took off for work. I asked him to have his boss call me. Robert Smythe did call me at 6:17 pm and we spoke for 15 minutes. He told me that he would check to see where my windows were, and to see if they were possibly shipped to one of their other locations. He told me that he would call me in the morning with the information. I asked that he call me in the afternoon since I would be on a plane for work. He agreed, and did call me back at 12:58 on 7/23/14 to tell me that the windows were apparently stolen from their warehouse and that he could reorder them and give me 10% off for the trouble that this caused. I asked him when he could get them in and installed and I told him the two days that I would be in town in August was the 6th and the 12th. He said he could not do it on the 6th, but felt sure that it could be there and installed on the 12th. I agreed and he told me he would call me back on the morning of the 24th after he spoke with the factory. The 24th came and went with no phone call from Mr. Smythe so I called the morning of the 25th at 8:38 am and asked for Mr. Smythe and when he came on the phone he told me that he was going to call me in about a 10 minutes. He said after dealing with the factory for a day and a half he did not feel that he could get them installed on the 12th. Again I emphasized that the 6th and the 12th were the two days that I had available due to issued involving a coworkers health. He agreed to issue me a refund for the full amount for today 7/25/14. Lots of promises of deadlines, very few returned calls, and a waste of time and labor on my part. I had to put the blinds and curtains back up that night as well as move furniture back and will have to do it again after windows come in from a different company. Hopefully they will fulfill what they tell me they are going to do.

When I tried to negotiate the price with him, they said they do not negotiate. Although I signed a contract, I decided the next day not to go with them and told them to cancel my contract. The representative was rude and after reading other reviews, I am glad I did not go with this company. They also try to charge for removing the windows which no other company does.

Stay away from this company. A few days after the windows were replaced, we found that several windows have a different color. Later we found out that they put in some windows which were of less quality than what we ordered. They showed up and checked them, and finally acknowledged it. But it took a very long time to replace them. Now we find that 4 windows have leaked air and we are in the process to get their warranty job done. We will let you know how they handle their warranty work later on.

I got three bids for windows each about $1000 apart and Window World was the cheapest. Their windows seemed plenty good enough for my purposes and the savings seemed to very much stem from the way they counted my huge triple windows as a single install fee instead of 2 or three like the other companies. The install was quick and easy and there were no hidden costs. Everything went like they said it would. Two years later all windows and screens operate just as they did when new and my energy bill has been slashed. The one issue I had was that my upstairs windows in one room no longer open wide enough for me to crawl out of. I would have gone with a different style up there had I known this would be an issue prior to install so double check what the opening will be if in doubt.

The crew arrived around 9:00 in the morning and had completed the job by 4:00. We have a single story house and the windows can be reached without a ladder. they used drop cloths and did a good job cleaning up.

Window World of Dallas-Fort Worth did come out and they did give us a bid. Window World is great. They are very on proper things except that the day he was supposed to measure it he cancelled and so we've got to have them come back. At least he got me a bid while other ones did not. They were on top of that for providing the bid. They gave the bid probably a few weeks ago. The approximate cost of the bid was close to 9000 dollars. This guy was pretty good. It is nice to have you someone who will call you. The other ones didn't even call. Window World is great and that is the only one that is on top of their thing in the construction field. I would recommend them to friends and family members. Their price is better than the others the other guy came out and he wanted 28000 for the same amount of work. They are good with responsiveness. They are very professional. Probably that's the people we are going to go with cost vise. They are the same type of windows and we are looking at the details but he is the one that we are probably going to go with. Window World of Dallas-Fort Worth is pretty good.

It went very well. The order was taken and an approximate date of installation was given. The installers showed up and installed six windows and a few days later installed the door. The work was done well, and the clean up was done properly.

I CALLED AND AFTER THE WEATHER WAS GOOD THEY SENT OUT ANOTHER GROUP OF MEN. THEY REMOVED ALL THE OLD CAULKING OFF THE BRICK AND WINDOWS AND RE-APPLIED ALL THE CAULKING AND MADE IT LOOK VERY NICE AND DID A PROFESSIONAL JOB.MY GRADE IS FOR THE 2ND GROUP OF WORKERS.

Salesman was very professional and went out of his way to make sure I was satisfied. Installation was on time and finished ahead of schedule. Install team cleaned as they installed and left no residue from their work. I. Had warranty work performed on one window. Phone support prompt and technician on time and quickly fixed my window. Overall I am very pleased with Window World and I have had my windows in for a year now. I highly recommend.

I went in looking for a replacement window. The employee that greeted me was very professional and was very knowledgeable. There are many samples in the showroom. The windows are custom built to your specifications and are reasonably priced. I didn't get a custom window on my visit, but instead bought another one that was a little smaller than I needed but they had it on hand at the time I needed it. I was told it takes about 10 days maybe less to get your windows made. Again the window I got was very well crafted and is the same workmanship as one I would have had custom made. They are in an excellent location, midpoint between Dallas and Ft. Worth and North of I-30. I will use them again in the future.

The consultant who came and measure our windows was professional and helpful. The windows quality is great but I had some trouble in scheduling the installation. They are not flexible in time and they schedule it based on their work load and time-frame that it is best for them. Nevertheless, the installation was great and their craw was professional.
