Service Provider Response
There's a lot left out of this account. Firstly, this customer was very happy with the work that was done. When the controller went out we happily replaced it. One day we were working at the neighbor's house across the street. The workers parked on his side of the street and muddied the sidewalk in front of his house, which they hosed off. He was not happy with the clean off and wanted it power washed, which we agreed to and would have done at the end of the job when we washed the neighbors. The entire street was muddy from recent [Member Name Removed] and a house that was going through heavy renovations. Of course he blamed us for the entire neighborhood being dirty. Apparently a few days was too long to wait and what happened next was inexcusable. #1 he accused everyone including Gino and Myself of being illegal [Redacted], which isn't true, he accused 2 of the guys of belonging to gangs, another for marrying an american just for papers, he berated me for being [Redacted] and said all sorts of other nasty, hateful, racist comments that I do not want to repeat. He also left a message on my phone about having a gun and let me know that if anyone stepped onto his property he would use it. Fast forward to the date of his inquiry. I ask you, If a customer who is past his warranty, and has already threatened violence on top of all the nastiness, asks you for the courtesy of a repair; would you go?Service Provider Response
Yes, this customer is correct. We were not able to give her job the attention she needed ad we sincerely apologize. There were some extenuating circumstances. I first met with her and we spoke about her needs. She was supposed to send me her survey for me to draw out her project for pricing. At that time I had warned her that we were preparing to be very busy and would be booked for months with the coming season and that she needed to get it to me very quickly. It took her about 8 weeks to get back to me and by that time we were slammed with more work than usual and we could not get to her job. We are a small business and just did not have the resources at that time to accommodate her job.Service Provider Response
First of all I what Ms. [removed member name] doesn't include is the why of it all. On the day of her estimate we actually had a great time talking, unfortunately for me it was too too much. We talked so much in fact that by the time she went inside I realized I would be late if I didn't leave right then, I hate being late so I left right away. I did not get a chance to finish up with the pictures and measurements. Because it is our busy season I couldn't get someone out until Saturday. We do not work on Saturdays normally, but Gino came out to finish up. He sent her the estimate on Sat. She is correct as I did not text her to inform her it was sent as I was with my daughter all day and do not use the office as a rule to be fair to her. She notified me on Sunday that she did not receive it. We re-sent it on Sunday, also a day we don't work, repeatedly to several different emails, several different times. For some reason she was not getting them. So while I do understand her displeasure In reality she said She had a great appointment with a knowledgeable person that was a day late on her estimate. I think a D is way out of line and it makes me sad because being a day late is so much less important than doing a good job. We are a small company that does good work and I hope that future clients can read this review and see it for what it is.Angi Certified
What sets Advantage Drainage apart? We solely provide drain service and have made it our specialty for the last 37+ years. Drainage is an unregulated business, this means that anyone— landscapers, plumbers, or sprinkler companies— can put a pipe in the ground and call it drainage. This becomes risky for the consumer. However, Advantage Drainage customers throughout Dallas and Fort Worth, know that our drain solutions stand apart as time-tested and proven. A large percentage of our business consists of redoing drainage work attempted by landscapers and sprinkler companies. Advantage Drainage solutions integrate multiple layers of protection to stop flooding now and in the future. We have the specialized tools and equipment to deal with North Texas soils.
